Love Is So Sweet

Jennifer left the apartment once they were done watching. While Lisa was cleaning up her apartment she received a message from Jun.

"Sorry about today, I already talked to her she won't be bothering you anymore... But if she did just call me and I'll be there in a flash."

When Lisa read Jun's message she remembered the theories she and Jeniffer made about him. She really wanted to ask him about a lot of things, but she too had secrets that she didn't want to tell anyone and knew that Jun was the same. It didn't feel right to ask Jun about his secrets if she herself won't tell hers.

"It's alright, I was just a bit shock."

"Really? That's all you felt? You can say anything you want about her and I won't mind. You can even call her a b*tch and I'll be cool with it."

Lisa didn't know why but she actually giggled a bit when she read that last message.

"I don't know why but seeing your message made me grin like an idiot."

"Of course it did, I'm a funny guy. Just looking at my face will make you laugh."

The conversation shifted rather quickly and neither of them noticed. Lisa never could explain why her interactions with Jun was rather good, compared to her interactions with other men. For some reason, Jun has this calming force about him.

"Hey Jun, I'm getting a bit curious about you. I know we just became friends, but I want to know more."

Lisa didn't know what was happening to her but she unconsciously sent that message without thinking too deeply about it.

Jun was surprised to read something like that coming from Lisa. If it was any other girl he would think she's interested in him in an I wanna be your girlfriend kind of way, but knowing how Lisa is, Jun knew not to think that way.

"Of course your interested and want to know more, I'm an interesting guy. So don't worry about it the feeling is mutual I'm kinda curious about you too. It's normal for friends to be curious about each other. So what do you want to know?"

Lisa really wanted to ask Jun about many things, but she knew that she couldn't ask about those sėnsɨtɨvė topics like regarding his family and whatnot. So she decided to ask simple questions instead. She thought of the most simple question that she could ask and messaged him.

"When's your birthday?"

"August 13, 1992"

"Wow, so you're older than me?"

"Really when's your bday?"

"September 15, 1994, you're two years older than me."

"Wait it was your bday a day before we met.?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Damn belated happy bday."

"Thanks, so how about you want to ask a question?"

"Sure let's see... How about aside from writing what do you like doing?"

"Playing video games I guess. Some people say I'm actually good enough to be a pro."

"Oh, really what game? FPS? RTS? MOBA? I think I can beat you in any game."

The two then started texting all throughout the night, forgetting about the initial topic. Jun learned a lot more about Lisa on this night. Once you get past her initial defenses turns out Lisa is kinda like a guy pal. It was weird, as Jun's impression on Lisa keeps on changing.

At first, he thought that she was a shy introverted girl, which she was, but then when you talk to her about her work she becomes this very passionate woman. It also feels like she doesn't know some common sense and her EQ seems to be all over the place. But once you get past some of her layers, she now feels like someone a young teenage boy could hang out with.

Jun just couldn't understand what kind of girl Lisa was. On the other hand, Lisa was confused with Jun, her impression of him was also changing. At the beginning she found Jun's ever-present smile to be creepy and disturbing. But now it felt nice and reassuring. He also seemed like a very good boy type of guy, but after recent events, it seems like there was something more going on with Jun.

His family, his past relationships, his numerous abilities, everything about him was a mystery and it made Lisa both anxious and excited.

"It's getting late. I'm going to sleep." Lisa finally texted as she saw the time.

"Sure, I hope you have sweet dreams. Goodnight Lisa."

Lisa reading that message felt her heart beating faster. "Goodnight to you too, Jun." Once she was done sending that message Lisa tried to sleep, but for some reason, Jun's face kept on popping up in her mind which made it difficult to sleep. For some reason when she read the last message Jun sent her, she was imagining him smiling sweetly at her.
