"Zach, I have to go home now, we have talked for an hour," said Adriana while glancing at her watch which showed 04:15 p.m

"Let me take you, Adriana," Zach exclaimed.

Adriana smiled thinly then got up from her seat. "No need, Zach, I'll just take a taxi," she said.

Zach sighed sadly at Adriana, feeling as if he wasn't willing to leave. 'She is someone's wife, you must know and stop try to close again with her!' he thought reminded himself.

"Okay, I'll take you to the terrace," Zach said then got up from the chair, he immediately carried Evan.

Adriana walked while carrying her small bag in her right hand while her left hand carried a paper bag containing the items she bought earlier, while Zach walked behind her carrying Evan.

Adriana stood on the side of the road with Zach and Evan, waiting for the taxi to pass.

"Adriana, let me take you," Zach exclaimed because he could not bear to see Adriana and Evan waiting too long.

"No, Zach, I already ordered and in ten minutes the taxi will arrive," replied Adriana while holding her smartphone, maybe she had ordered a taxi through the app.

Until a few moments of waiting, finally, the taxi ordered by Adriana had arrived. She immediately took Evan into the taxi and carrying her groceries.

"Be careful," Zach exclaimed, staring at Adriana through the open car window.

"You too," replied Adriana with a smile.

The taxi carrying Adriana and Evan started walking. Zach waved softly with a chaotic feeling as if he was in deep pain. 'I am a cowardly man who is suffering for my behavior,' he thought.

While in the taxi, Adriana is stunned remembering her meeting with Zach which had just happened.

'He's still the same as before, attentive and friendly. But why isn't he married yet? What made him not want to get married at such a mature age?'

Arriving at the gate of the house, Adriana got down the taxi while carrying Evan who had fallen asleep. She prefers to take a taxi rather than be escorted by Zach because Margareth will find trouble or have bad thoughts if she finds out that her daughter-in-law is being escorted by another man.

"So what if they see me, what's wrong with me, Mom?" asked Adriana.

"You are a lowly woman from an ordinary family and only graduated from senior high school, while the children of my friends are all undergraduates, some even become models," Margareth replied curtly.
