Is she sick?

What was wrong with her? Chu Ling tried again and realized that she had no way to use any strength.

"What else did you do?" She didn't believe this had anything to do with Josh, or she wouldn't have ended up like this for no reason at all.

"I just fed you something. Don't worry, I won't take your life yet." Josh frowned intentionally and said, "We have to use everything we have, don't you agree?"

"You!" Chu Ling's eyes lit up with anger. She would rather Josh's methods against her to be decisive than to let her guess what he was going to do next.

"Don't be angry," Josh laughed when he saw her expression. "Soon, I will bring you a companion to compensate you so that you won't be lonely here."

"You're talking about Jiang Yu!" Chu Ling subconsciously blurted out.

"Tsk tsk, this isn't right," Josh said with a look of deep regret. "How could I have let her stay here? Haven't you found out where we are?"

His words seemed to be referring to something. Chu Ling looked at the surroundings again. It was only through this time that she realised that she had neglected such an important matter.

There were some medical equipment on the table beside her. This reminded her of a legend that she had heard before when she was still in E Country.

"What are you going to do to me?" When she thought of the creepy legend, Chu Ling was extremely excited. She would rather die happily. He didn't want to suffer that kind of torture either.

"Don't be afraid, sister, how could I do that to you?" Josh knew she understood what she was about to do to her. "But if you give me back what you took when you left, I can consider fulfilling one of your requests."

Not long after she woke up, she received a call from Mo Yan. Mo Yan nervously asked if she was safe and sound.

"I'm very safe, Josh won't do anything to me yet," Jiang Wei said as he thought about what happened last night.
