A deranged look painted Jean's face. "You've been avoiding me lately. Even if I went to see you, you rejected my company! It's been a while since we last met, and you discredited me like this. Why are you doing this to me? What did I do to you that made you hurt me like this?"

Terence was just about to say something when his phone rang. It was a call from Sandra. He hung up the call and sneered. In a disdainful tone, he said to Jean, "Since you want to know what happened, come with me."

For a moment, Jean was stunned with Terence's reply.

"Why are you just standing there? Are you coming or not?" Terence stared at Jean with cold eyes.
