443 I Want to See You

Dinner with Fang Su Jin’s parents ended very well.

Father Fang was probably the happiest. In the beginning, he thought that he will only be coming to Capita City to accompany his wife for shopping and sightseeing.

Now that he had Zhang Yi Hai in front of him, Father Fang was unable to stop talking and discussing business and economics.

In the end, it was Mother Fang who had to remind him to eat his meal. Otherwise, there might be a chance that the four of them will have to sleep at the restaurant just because Father Fang could not stop talking.

After the meal, Zhang Yi Hai volunteered to send the family of three back to the hotel as it would be quite troublesome for them to fetch a taxi at this time.

As he was driving and chatting with Father Fang at the front, Zhang Yi Hai could not help but glance at his girlfriend through the rear mirror once in a while.

Their gazes met a few times and Fang Su Jin had to lower her head and hide.

She thought that Zhang Yi Hai’s gazes were too intense. If she did not look away, her mother would probably notice something.

After a while, the car was nearing the hotel where Fang Su Jin and her parents were staying. Zhang Yi Hai glanced at Father Fang and spoke, “Uncle, you’re going to return to Y City tomorrow?”

“Hmm...” Father Fang nodded. “I’m always busy with my work. It was rare for me and your aunt to accompany Su Jin on her exhibition. This time, we only get a chance to come over for a short time. Tomorrow, we’ll have to go back to Y City.”

“When is your flight?”

“It’s in the afternoon. But, we will have to head over to the airport earlier.”
There was a brief silence in the vehicle.

Finally, Zhang Yi Hai pulled over his vehicle at the entrance. He turned to Father Fang and spoke, “Uncle, if you don’t mind, let me send you over to the airport tomorrow.”

Fang Su Jin’s eyes were wide when she heard Zhang Yi Hai’s suggestion.

She too was unwilling to part with him so quickly after getting together with him, but Fang Su Jin did not expect that Zhang Yi Hai would raise this suggestion.

Knowing her parents, Fang Su Jin knew they would not take advantage of Zhang Yi Hai’s kindness.

There was a trace of joy in Father Fang’s expression. However, he was quick to compose himself. “This... it is not appropriate, right? You already spent your time accompanying the three of us for dinner.”

“That’s right,” Mother Fang chirped in. “Yi Hai, I know that you were thinking of us, but we should not trouble you further. Moreover, you still have to attend your class tomorrow, right?”

Fang Su Jin understood what her boyfriend was trying to do.

As she was going to return to Y City tomorrow, Zhang Yi Hai was finding his chance to spend his time with her. Later, it would be hard for them to meet again unless Zhang Yi Hai went back to Y City, or if she found a reason to visit Capital City again.

“Uncle, Aunt, you don’t have to worry about it,” Zhang Yi Hai said. “It will not trouble me much to send you over to the airport. Since I am in my final year, I don’t have early morning class as well.”

The Fang couple exchanged a glance.

“Besides,” Zhang Yi Hai continued. He looked at Fang Su Jin and said, “I have something to give my sister. Since Sister Fang is here, I was hoping that Sister Fang could help me and deliver a package for my sister. I didn’t have the package with me now, but I will bring them over to you tomorrow. Sister Fang, can you help me? I won’t be troubling you too much I hope.”

Fang Su Jin stared back at him with a puzzled look. Noticing that her parents were looking at her, Fang Su Jin quickly agreed. “Of course. It’s no trouble. I am planning to see your sister after all.”

Meanwhile, the Fang couple turned to look at each other again and smiled.

“So, it was like that,” Mother Fang spoke. “Since you have a reason to find Su Jin tomorrow, then, we can only trouble you to send us to the airport.”

Zhang Yi Hai put on an amiable smile. “Auntie, please don’t say that. You are not troubling me at all. Besides, you are always looking after my sister. I already considered you my family.”

Fang Su Jin could feel her breath stuck in her throat.

Suddenly, she was coughing non-stop.

Fang Su Jin was just too shocked to hear Zhang Yi Hai’s words.

He already considered her parents as his family. This young man was just too good with his words.

“Su Jin, what’s wrong with you?” Mother Fang looked at her daughter in worry. It was only after Fang Su Jin had stopped coughing that she finally was at ease.

“Mom, it’s nothing. I guess someone was talking about me.” Fang Su Jin came out with a lame excuse. She turned to Zhang Yi Hai and shot him a dangerous look, but the young man still had a smile on his face.

He was teasing her, right?

In the end, it was agreed that Zhang Yi Hai would send them to the airport. After making their arrangement, the family of three alighted from the car after thanking Zhang Yi Hai for sending them back to the hotel again.

Zhang Yi Hai stayed parked in front of the entrance as he waited until the family entered the building. Once the Fang family members were no longer in his sight, Zhang Yi Hai pulled out his phone and sent a text to his girlfriend.

Fang Su Jin was about to step into the elevator when she heard her phone’s notification.

Seeing Zhang Yi Hai’s name, she quickly hid in the corner before her parents were going to see his name.

With a faint smile on her face, Fang Su Jin clicked on his message.

“I will park my car in the basement. Su Jin, come out and meet me again in the lobby, alright? I want to see you.”

Fang Su Jin read his message a few more times with her heart beating fast.
