508 A Little Encouragement

Fang Su Jin thought that it would not be easy for her to fall asleep in Zhang Yi Hai’s apartment. However, she was indeed a little tired after the long flight. After rolling around the bed for a few times, her eyes gradually felt heavier.

When she woke up again, it was a few hours later.

It took her a while to figure out where she was. Then, Fang Su Jin looked out the window and was surprised to see that the sky had already turned dark.

Thinking that she was going to spend a couple of nights in Zhang Yi Hai’s apartment made her a little giddy.

After washing up and changing her clothes, Fang Su Jin opened the door slowly and her head peeked out the door to look.

Zhang Yi Hai was in the living room with his laptop. The man had a serious look on his face as he continued to tap his fingers on the keyboard.

She decided to watch her boyfriend for a while longer, appreciating his handsome look. But then, Zhang Yi Hai raised his head and met her gaze.

A tinge of pink appeared on her face as she was caught staring.

Zhang Yi Hai put down his laptop on the coffee table and waved his hand at her. “Come here.”

Fang Su Jin had a sheepish smile on her face. She adjusted her hair a little bit before coming out from her hiding place.

“Wake up?” Zhang Yi Hai spoke as she approached closer.

Fang Su Jin nodded and watched him smile.
Just as she was about to sit down, Zhang Yi Hai tugged her hand and let her sit down beside him. “What do you want to eat for dinner?”

The man was so close to her. His voice and breath made her skin tingle a little bit. Fang Su Jin did not dare to move around. Instead, she leaned her head obediently on his shoulder.

Now that they were alone, Fang Su Jin could not help but recall something that he had told her in F Country. He was a man and she was the person that he liked.

When they were alone, it would be a lie to say that he was not tempted.

Those thought made her shy, but leaning in his arms made her feel as if she was this little bunny with a big bad wolf by her side.

“Su Jin?” Zhang Yi Hai leaned to kiss the top of her head when she did not answer.

“Mmm... I was just thinking. I want to eat spicy food. After staying in F Country for a week and eating their food, I really missed our food very much,” Fang Su Jin said.

A few dishes appeared in her mind. Picturing the red, spicy, and glistering meat was enough to make her drool.

Then, she raised her head to meet his gaze. “Let’s just stay at home and call for takeaway, alright? I think I’m too tired to move around.”

“Alright.” Zhang Yi Hai naturally did not have an objection.

He reached for his phone on the table and ordered a few dishes. By now, he had already understood Fang Su Jin’s preferences.

“Is that enough?” Zhang Yi Hai asked as he looked at his girlfriend again. Seeing her nod, Zhang Yi Hai submitted the order and paid. “The food should be here in twenty minutes.”

Fang Su Jin nodded again. She shifted her gaze to the laptop and saw that there were a lot of words and terms that she did not understand about. “What are you doing?”

Zhang Yi Hai followed her gaze and explained, “My homework.” Seeing her raise her brow made him laugh. “This is what my friend, Tang Yin sent a while ago. After being away from class for a week, I should try to catch up with my study, right?”

Fang Su Jin moved away from his arms. “Then, I shouldn’t be disturbing you.”

“It’s alright. There’s only a little bit of it left.” While his girlfriend still had her attention on the computer, Zhang Yi Hai took this opportunity to steal a kiss. “I will be done before the food arrived.”

Fang Su Jin observed his expression, thinking that perhaps this young man would trick her just because she did not understand what he was doing. These days, Zhang Yi Hai has been accompanying her and Fang Su Jin was worried that she might delay his study.

“Su Jin?”

“En?”

“I’m studying hard. Shouldn’t I get a little encouragement?”

Fang Su Jin chuckled as she watched Zhang Yi Hai pointing at his cheek with a playful look in his eyes. She leaned closer and was about to peck his cheek when Zhang Yi Hai turned his head.

The kiss that was intended to fall on his cheek then fell on his lips

Fang Su Jin pulled back and stared at him with her eyes wide. “You...”

Before she could say something, Zhang Yi Hai leaned over again and caught her lips in a deep kiss. His hand cupped her cheek to hold her in place.

Once he had enough of her sweetness, Zhang Yi Hai finally pulled away. “That should be enough to encourage me.”

Her cheek turned redder. “You’re a hooligan!”

He wrapped his arms around her shoulder and pressed his nose in her hair. He did not know what sort of shampoo she was using, but he liked the sweet smell of her hair.

“Su Jin, tomorrow morning, I’m going to the campus to attend morning class. I should be done in the afternoon,” Zhang Yi Hai continued. “When I’m done with my class, let’s have our lunch together. Then, I’ll take you to play around the city, alright?”

Fang Su Jin was about to decline, knowing that her boyfriend should be busy after a week’s break from classes. But meeting his hopeful eyes made her change her mind.

After all, her stay in Capital City was very brief. Zhang Yi Hai will miss her as much as she will miss him, right? Perhaps it would be a good thing to spend their time together before she went back to Y City.
