Mu Zhen Yu had said that he was going to treat Zhang Li Xue to her favorite chicken wings and later, he took her to her favorite place to eat her favorite food.

“You still remember that I liked this shop’s chicken wings,” Zhang Li Xue spoke as the server left with their food order.

“Mhm... How can I forget? In the past, you always visited this place to eat after school.” Mu Zhen Yu smiled.

Mu Zhen Yu shifted his gaze and saw that the girl was watching him.
“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Mu Zhen Yu put down the chicken wings in his hand on the plate. His lips turned to a faint smile. “Just that... I think the taste of the chicken wings had changed from the last time.”

“The previous owner passed away two years after you left,” Zhang Li Xue said. “Of course, the taste would be a little different.”

Mu Zhen Yu lowered his head. There was a complicated look on his face.

He was happy to know that the restaurant was still around. However, he was disappointed to know that the place had changed a lot.

Mu Zhen Yu chuckled.
