Loving A Heartless Lawyer

Liam kept looking at the wall clock while Jorge was briefing him about the conditions on which some of their lawyers were poached by the Yao law firm.

Jorge noticed Liam's attention was only at the wall clock and not on what he was briefing him about. Seeing Liam totally distracted, Jorge's forehead creased, and he snapped his fingers at Liam.

"Hey are you even listening to what I am telling you?" Jorge sniveled.

"Yeah, I am. It's almost dinnertime, Jorge, let's continue with this discussion tomorrow. For the meantime, make sure that Yao law firm should not be able to afford our best ones, okay?" Liam commented and immediately stood up, picked his coat and went out, leaving Jorge alone his mouth agape.

Jorge shook his head because he knew Liam was in a hurry to have dinner with Lana and his mother-in-law.
