Loving You: A Blessing or a Curse?

A week went by and everything was going well for Su Lian both at the company, and at home.

Cuddling up with her son in front of the T.V, she got a call from her brother. He just wanted to remind her that their grandfather's birthday was tomorrow.

After careful thought, Su Lian decided that she would go. There are some cousins that she hasn't seen in a long time.

Even though her father was an awful person blinded by greed, the rest of the Su family wasn't like that. They were honest and good people who lived simple lives in content. With the exception of her grandmother, Wu Ehuang. She was a very materialistic person and she turned even worse after her son got rich.

She is the complete opposite of her husband, Su Kong.

Being a retired police officer, Su Kong was extremely upright and strict. When he found out about his youngest son's infidelity, he was so angry and wanted nothing more than to throw him out of the family. He would have too if not for his wife who kept on crying and threatening to kill herself.

Su Feng is her third son, the baby of the house who she pampered the most as a child. Now, he sends her so much money which allows her to live a lavish life.

How could she be willing to throw him out of the family?

In her opinion, he was not to blame for raising an illegitimate child outside. His wife, who was not taking proper care of him was at fault.

She had been against the marriage from the start because Tang Xiu was mixed race. She was half white and half Chinese and she had been born and raised in America. Who knows the kind of shameless things she had done in that secular and immoral country?**

The children Tang Xiu gave birth to were also mixed race, they had her green eyes. Even though they were beautiful, she didn't want children who looked different from the norm. As a result, she disliked Su Lian and Su Qiong, but she was very fond of Su Mo Chou.

Although she liked Su Mo Chou, that didn't mean she had good feelings towards Qin Rong. The only reason why she allowed the woman to continue living with her son is that she wants him to focus on work and not worry about managing the household. She will continue to tolerate her for now, but once she finds a good wife for her son, she'll have him marry again and Qin Rong will need to go.
