As the undead mob started to swarming us, Galliano, with his sick "fisting" style technique made the draugr coming at him elated in ecstasy to the point of them being purified from the darkness.

While my boring attacks are still ongoing, Boland shoved his sword all the way inside the stomach of that draugr.

Backing away, I quickly scan the area to find the mechanism to open the gate or at least, the way to open it.

'Doesn't seem to have anything unusual though. The number of undead coming kept increasing but they don't look to be reviving after they die, so maybe… there is going to be a boss coming soon. Might want to hurry this up.'

'These things are so easy to kill even if they have armor, but the amount of Exp given is so low, and not only that, I have to rely on my own to level up.'

With the level going up, I can now allocate 1200 points to Primary Attributes and 40 Points to Secondary Attributes. However, Players can only allocate per 100 points for the Primary instead of per point like the Secondary Attributes' points.

Leveling up only gives 600 points for the Primary and 20 points for the Secondary, but for the first level, players always get an extra bonus.

It wasn't even that hard, we pretty much breeze through it no problem on the difficulty, but… there were just too many of them. Boland seems to have finished his portion, the group is safe, and Galliano is also about to be done too.

Just had to say it, huh. I froze in place as the level of annoyance increasing, it quickly gets into my head. Something just came crashing down at Galliano's location.

A 25ft tall mossed golem.

The golem pursuit him as he ran towards us, 'Shit,' with Boland standing beside me, I have an idea, "All right, change of plan. None of our attacks will be effective, but do you have any skills, sir?"

His main weapon is a sword, just by that fact and his class alone, it's easy to tell that his offensive skills are all slashing type. Galliano might be better with his fisting style, but let's not joke around now, I doubt he has any skills right now.

Kenmartha doesn't look to be it either.

The NPCs are all much higher level than that thing, but Level, in general, is different for both humans and monsters. There is a reason why a death slime level 1 is inherently much more powerful than a giant slime level 100.

10 points in Endurance resulted in an increase of 5 on the Physical Defense, and when a player hits 10 on Intelligence, they will have the same bonus increase to the Magical Defense and will further increase as they go up in synchronize. Points on Faith will give the same bonus and work the same as well.

My heart beating fast as Galliano coming closer and closer, not that it's fluttering, but nervousness.

It felt like the whole world went silent. The axe managed to stab it into the inside of its shin, but it dealt almost no damage at all. A blunder. My eyes glancing up and I saw… the golem swinging its arm.

I flew with a crushing noise coming out of my bones.

Quickly crawling away with all my might, but the golem kept getting closer and closer until… Galliano enters the scene.

The giant staggered that it even stumbled on his knees.

Boland came around from the right with a strong aura coming out of him, and his sword, he swung it vertically upward and a slice of orange wave struck the staggered golem.

Smoke covers that thing, and I quickly get away as far as I could.

The attacks were powerful, but when the golem got out of the smoke, one can see… that those attacks almost did nothing to it at all.

Both Galliano and Boland have their face hardened.

The latter quickly moves straight towards me, quickly kneeling, and fed me a subtle red color potion like, "There, there. You're all right now, take it slow, lass."

We have entered a new landscape. The same fortification, but instead of a circle, it's a wide-open space, and not only that, it feels more like a jungle instead. Mushy green plants and trees growing out of the floors, the walls, and I can even see some in the ceiling.

"Have we… passed the Gate?"

"Wh-What happen to the golem?"

Boland stopped, and as his expression showing a sign of confusion, I know that something is weighing his mind. What he muttered stated the obvious, "I don't know."
