Magic With You

Calter watch as Kence starts preparing the tools and ingredients he needs to use. This scene is extremely familiar to Calter although he was sure that he never experienced something like this with Kence before

He and Kence are always 'fighting', this was like the first time that such a peaceful atmosphere appeared between the two of them

Calter's body moved on its own for the nth time and he took out several knives to help Kence. The young master is completely clueless as to what Kence needs in the kitchen and he just decided to get all the knives

"What are you doing? Just sit there, I can handle all these" Kence said while pushing Calter's body a bit to a chair not far from them. "Let me help you" Calter offered but Kence shook his head repeatedly

"No, I can do this by myself" Kence replied. This is just a simple act of cooking that Kence wants to do for Calter for all his help, how can he allow this man to help him? Too bad that Calter is quite stubborn too

"I just want to help" Calter said in a wronged tone, almost giving Kence a huge headache. "Let me take care of things here, okay?" Kence asked in a hopeful tone but Calter shook his head

Calter's heart was itching him to cook with Kence and he desperately wants this. Both of them are stubborn as they have their own agendas

At normal times, Kence would already be angered but he cannot. His gratitude towards Calter is extremely high and he can't show any rudeness towards him anymore

"Let me do this alone, please?" Kence pleaded with his innocent puppy eyes that is a huge weakness of Calter

The Young Master gulps at the sight and he had an urge to submit to whatever Kence wants him to do to make the man happy. It was like Calter's sole purpose in life is to make Kence happy

"B-But ... I-I want to help ..." Calter replied in a defeated tone and Kence didn't know what got to him at that time. He felt some guilt and his mouth speaks on its own

"I-I'll k-kiss you again later i-if you let me c-cook alone ...." After Kence finished his sentence, he immediately lowered his head from so much embarrassment. He can't believe that he can say such words but ... kissing Calter felt extremely good and he also wants to do it again

Calter didn't say anything after that and it just made things more awkward. Kence puts his palms on his face while wishing that the ground will swallow him. It was his mouth's fault for saying such a thing!

"J-just m-moved o-okay!" Kence said with his voice raising a bit and he turned his back on Calter to hide his face

'Damn it, stop being so cute!' Calter cursed inside his mind. He likes that Kence is not acting angry towards him anymore but if this kind of Kence continued gracing its presence to him ... Calter is afraid of what he might do

"O-okay .... d-don't forget the .... k-kiss" Calter answered before walking towards the chair nearby. That was a kiss, okay? It's not like Calter can get a kiss from Kence every day! Don't blame him for agreeing on this fast

Kence's body stiffened at Calter's words and his racing heartbeats turned even crazier than before to the point that Kence worried a bit that it will burst any moment from now

"Heart, please calm down" Kence said inside his mind as he repeatedly took a deep breath. Kence calmed himself for some time before continuing what he was doing

On a chopping board, Kence starts seasoning a piece of steak with salt and paper. After that, Kence heated the pan and after the temperature is right, he puts the steak on it

When one side of the steak was done, Kence flipped it and added a piece of butter and other seasonings

Calter watched this scene with amusement in his eyes and no matter how much he tried, he simply can't get his eyes off Kence

Kence naturally noticed that and his face blushed as usual. Calter's stare is making Kence feel weak and his hands start trembling

"P-please don't look at me l-like that ... I-I g-get shy easily" Kence said to Calter while scratching the side of his face a bit

"S-sorry, you're just too cute" Calter answered absent-mindedly and he saw Kence's body stiffened because of that. It was already too late when Calter realizes what he said

Instead of showing anger from being flustered, Kence just lowered his head back to the pan and asked Calter a question. "A-am I?"

Calter almost nodded his head like a chicken at that. When did Kence not become cute in his eyes?

"O-of course, you are cute" Calter truthfully answered and he watched as Kence sneakily bit his lower lip. "T-thanks" Kence replied and continued cooking the steak, one for him, and one for Calter

After some time, the steaks were finally done and Kence put them into two separate plates while putting some designs in it

"I-I don't know if it is delicious b-but I did my best" Kence said while sitting on a chair opposite to the one that Calter was sitting on

"It smells good, I know it tastes good too" Calter answered with a smile and Kence unconsciously smiled at that too

Calter holds the knife and fork in his hands before taking a slice from the steak and his eyes immediately widened. As soon as he got a taste of Kence's cooking, his body and heart starts screaming from joy

Calter felt like he was a dry land that finally got to taste water after such a long time. He doesn't know if the steak was really just delicious or because it was Kence that made it but it tastes really good! Calter was even worried that he might not be able to eat foods made by other people again

"Delicious!" Calter exclaimed much to Kence's joy and the two starts eating together with smiles on their faces

Inside one of the rooms in the Magic Tower of the Head Master, Noom can be seen looking at the window with an absent-minded expression on his face

It was already long ago after the Head Master returned him back from that space of fire and volcanoes but he still can't forget it

In his whole life, Noom only knows that he was afraid of fire because of the abuse he got from his father. But the Head Master and that space made him realize that his fear might have another root cause. However, no matter how much he tried to think, he still doesn't know if there is really another reason

A fire mage that is afraid of fire .... it was a laughable concept. Grand Knights have strong minds but Noom can't even break free from the trauma he got from his father? That is something that is really hard to believe in

The Head Master is also right, since he wants to continue protecting his master then he needs to raise his strength. But .... why can't Noom do it? Why is he still afraid of fire?

"What are you thinking again?" Krad asked while wrapping his arms on the man's waist to give him a tight hug

Noom took a deep breath first before answering. "It's nothing" Noom answered while shaking his head

"Is it because of the Head Master again? What really happened?" Krad asked with a frown but Noom don't want to answer that as usual

Noom breaks free from Krad's hug before giving the man a kiss to shut him up. Krad of course enjoyed kissing Noom but he doesn't like that Noom is doing this just because he doesn't want him to continue talking

As a result, Krad moved his head away while looking at Noom with a serious expression. "I don't only want your body, I genuinely want to help you with your problems" Krad said while taking Noom's hand and kissing the back of it

Noom turned his head to the side because of that as there is still something bugging his heart and he doesn't want to talk about it

"Please ... I want to help you" Krad said with sadness in his voice before a voice entered the ears of the two

"How sweet! Do you really want to help Noom?" The Head Master that appeared out of nowhere asked with a sweet smile and Krad immediately answered. "Yes, I want to help him"

"Hihi come with me!" The little girl said and Krad's body moved on its own and the two vanished as they entered a portal

When Krad opened his eyes, he saw something that made his eyes widen. There are colorful lights that entered his eyes and when he looked at his body, he saw that he was inside a translucent bubble

"Are you ready to know a big secret?" The Head Master asked with a mischievous smile on her face
