Marriage To The Mafia Boss

Emma is rushing back to find Vito when she bumps into him in the lobby. He does not look happy in front of her.

"Why did Luo Han Zheng try to call you again?" Vito is telling her with his authoritative voice.

"I am. En. Why did I feel getting caught red-handed by you? Vito, can we go back to C city now? A grandmother is in the hospital," Emma tells her husband with a tug on his jacket.

"Where is she located? Let's go home. It would be best if you bid farewell with your grandmother," Vito is instructing her worried wife. He was not happy to see her ex-fiancé contact her again. Vito is territorial with his belonging, and he does not want to lose her.

"She is in Qin Hospital. I am distraught to leave her with my adopted sister," Emma is getting closer into his body and bury her face to his chest. Vito is comforting his wife by embracing her closer to his body.

"I will arrange for you and your grandmother. Go inside and ask permission from grandmother," Vito pecked her head to reassure her with his loving voice. Emma goes inside the ballroom to talk with her grandmother while Vito gives all the instructions to AI Jia and his butler. His private plane needs to get clearance to take off and getting ready on the tarmac.

Vito is calling the hospital director and arranges the best room in the hospital for her grandmother-in-law. He also calls his nephew, Li Wen Liang, to come and take care of Grandmother Lin. Vito is telling him to stay 24/7 on her side to oversee everything until he arrives at the hospital or cut the financial expense of Man Hospital.

His cousin does not have any choice. Instead, he follows his dear cousin to the Shin hospital and stays alert on the side of grandmother Lin. Vito evens arranges his bodyguard to keep her safe. No one can come closer to her room, include Lin Yan. It made her get all the attention as she bawls her eyes out on the hospital corridor. Luo Han Zheng has a headache to see Lin Yan behaviour.

"Lin Yan, can you restrain yourself? People are looking at us," Han Zheng tells Lin Yan as she cries and weeping on the hospital floor. She wants to attract the attention of the public and shift all the blame to Emma.

"Brother Han Zheng, I am also her granddaughter even though I am adopted. I know my place, but I need to see my grandmother. And I would want to know her condition," Lin Yan was hugging Han Zheng feet and told her with the weakest expression. She needs to portray herself as the unfortunate orphan who wants to show her filial duty.

"She is getting the treatment. Would you mind standing up and sitting down in the waiting room? I will be taking care of grandmother hospital paperwork," Luo Han Zheng is getting her up from the floor and put her on the hospital bench.

This time, Lin Yan is agreeing to get up and following his word. She knows to push and restrain herself from making someone fall into her play. Lin Yan can't believe that heaven helps her to advance earlier. She needs to make her grandmother take the total dose of poison to stay in vegetative condition.

Han Zheng is going to the administration office while Grandmother is inside the operation room. He wants to guarantee all of Grandmother Lin medical expenses to impress Emma. Lou Han Zheng expects this small gesture of little attention can make her heart a little closer again to him. He kind of miss all her cooking and her careful attention in his daily life.

He enters the VIP administrative office to take care of grandmother Lin's paperwork when he finds out someone already takes care of everything. Grandmother Lin's hospital bill has already been paid, and her grandson-in-law is the guarantor. Luo Han Zheng is getting shocked to hear about the grandson-in-law news come out on his face. He is going back to the hospital corridor where Lin Yan sits down.

Li Wen Liang is coming to the hospital area and passing the corridor where Lin Yan and shock Luo Han Zheng. At the same time, the nurse is coming out from the operation room to inform another patient condition.

"Excuse me, nurse. My name is Professor Li Wen Liang from Man hospital, and I come for Madame Lin. Where is she?" He shows his doctor badge to the nurse which bows politely to him.

"Please follow me. Professor Lim is draining the blood on her cranial due to the trauma," the nurse explains the procedure to Li Wen Liang.

"Professor Lim Xu?" he asked with his hand in his pocket.

"Yes, let me take you inside, and you can change to your scrub uniform. We already got brief by the hospital director about your arrival," the nurse is opening her hand to escort the professor inside the room theatre.

"Wait a second. How can he got to enter and see my grandmother when I am her granddaughter and get stop in here?" Lin Yan is launching an attack toward the medical staff, making every family in the waiting area of the hospital corridor look at them.

"Who are you?" the nurse asks him while Li Wen Liang is looking at her.

"I am the granddaughter of Madame Lin Mei Hui. No one even came and told me about her condition, and I even can't see her," Lin Yan is launching her attack on the nurse.

"Mam, I am apologising on behalf of Professor Lim for forgetting to update you. I am sorry, but he is still performing emergency surgery on your grandmother inside, and we are trying to save her. Please bear with us. We will try our best to save your grandmother," Li Wen Liang is shielding the nurse in front of him and talking toward the angry Lin Yan. His response makes all the family inside the waiting room sympathise with the nurse and the doctor and put Lin Yan as the villain.

"Thank you, and I am sorry about my behaviour. I get agitated when I am concern about my only grandmother condition," Lin Yan tries to restrain herself after all the talk with the family member of the patient in the waiting room. She needs to keep her image as a beautiful white flower in front of everybody.

They are smiling and nodding to her answer before leaving inside the area of the operation theatre. The nurse escorts him to the staff room, where he changes into the scrub uniform and joins Professor Lim for the surgery. He will oversee the whole operation and, as instructed, stick next to the old madame Lin. No one can touch her, and he needs to do all the nurse job to administer all of her medication.

Li Wen Liang can't deny or disobey his older cousin. He is so scared when he gets angry, and his punishment is also unbelievable inhumane. He witnesses it firsthand for his ruthless method when one of his staff disobey him. At least, Wen Liang manages to save his life.

As instructed by his cousin, no one allows touching madame Lin except Professor Lim and himself. So, he will do as required even though he will do all the nurse menial jobs.

He stands near Professor Lim after checking all Madame Lin tests and nurse charts. He is well aware of the excellent reputation of Professor Lim. He removes and cleans the clot on her skull to ease the pressure on her brain before closing it with a small tube to drain the excess blood and fluid on her brain.

The hospital director already prepared the particular ICU room for Madame Lin. The ICU room configuration only has one entrance to enter and out, while each bedroom has access to give a personal feeling. There are twenty bedrooms with full glass on every bed and equipped with the latest machine inside each room.  There are two nurse stations to oversee the whole ICU room operation with a ratio of nurse 1:2 patients.

The hospital director manages to empty and send them to the ward. The nurses already cleaned up the room and made sure it was ready for Madame Lin. they are work quickly and meticulously to prepare everything regarding of their owner's family member.

"How is her condition?" Professor Lim is finishing closing up the cranial and wrapping up the operation wound by himself. He did not let the nurse do this part also.

"Her vital is normal and ready to move," The anaesthesia doctor reports to Professor Lim.

"Can I take over from you, Professor Lim?" Wen Liang is asking Professor Lim, checking the nurse job and reconnecting all the tubes to the portable machine.. He even contains all the lines on her body and makes sure everything is intact.
