Marriage To The Mafia Boss

Vito is only taking his three hours of sleep to refresh himself before he checks on his wife vital. They are going to put her into a CT scan again in the morning. Vito wants to make sure the brain swelling goes smaller and everything looks normal without complication.

Vito is calling his team to come in and take turns to check into her well-being with Wen Liang. The nurse in her room will be from his scrub team and no one can enter the room.

"Her vital is good and we can start to wean her off from her ventilator. You need to wake her up to check into her nerve and brain function, boss," Chu Xi is reporting to her boss regarding her expertise.

"Let's get her into the CT-Scan and we can know the result from the operation," Vito is telling her and gets her ready for the CT-Scan.

The professor of radiology is coming to the CT-Scan imaging room and preparing for the madame boss.

Vito, Wen Liang and Chu Xi are looking at the imaging with the Professor of radiology straight on the control room to see the brain swell already reducing and there is not imminent bleeding on the brain. Vito is happy and pray for her memory still there even though he has to make sure about their relationship.

They are in their original plan to wean her off from the ventilator and wake her up. they are needing to see all the side effect from the sickness.

Emma is landing into the dark road inside the long cave. There is a baby crawl into her position and asks her to pick him up. He is touching her cheek with his cold tiny hand.

"Are you cold bubba?" Emma is cuddling the chubby baby inside her arms. There is another baby smaller than in her arm and getting closer to her body.

However, the second baby looks beautiful in her way. There is a little mishap, but she looks like a small angel with her adorable facial expression.

"Where is your mother, bubba?" Emma is squatting and pick up the second babies inside her arm. She is cuddling the two babies inside her arms. She did not feel heavy at all until they are touching her cheek and some throbbing pain inside her brain.

All her sadness and everything regardless of the painful memories from Lou Han Zheng and Lin Yan back again into her brain. The happiness with the most adorable and handsome man in this world also return to her memories inside her brain.

Apparently, there is a pure white shining light and taking away the babies in her arms. She is feeling sad and tears coming down into her cheek. It was not long after her bodies start to get disappear like a dust.

In the hospital bed, Vito, Chu Xi, Lim Xu, and Wen Liang are waiting for her movement from the comma. In the brain activity, it is showing about her cognition line already aware. However, they are waiting for the miracle.

"Honey, wake up, please," Vito is holding her left hand who has their wedding ring on her hand.

Emma can hear about the familiar voice, but she did not want to give out easily like that. She is moving her hand and showing her awareness. Chu Xi is checking her vital and oxygen level. She is happy with her level of oxygen.

"Water…" Emma is asking for a sip of water for her dry throat. It is the effect from ventilator tube into her lungs.

Wen Liang is passing the cup of mater with a spoon to Vito who feed her with a spoonful of water. She needs to drink a little by little because of the effect of the anaesthesia which can make her nausea.

"Do you remember me?" Vito is asking her to check about her memories.

"No, who are you? Where am I? Professor Lim, can you help me?" Emma is scattering the hope of Vito regarding her memories. There is no sign of bleeding in her brain, but she still can not remember about her memories. There was no shadow in the imaging of her brain and everything seems perfectly execute.

Vito expression is getting darker by a minute after hearing about her answer regarding her memories. She really did not remember about their sweet memories and their marriages.

He needs time to think about his theory and his step for his wife recovery. He is walking outside the room where Wen Liang is following him. At least, Wen Liang can't let his cousin alone and it will not be good for his mental health. It was hard for him to find someone sabotages his wife car and he find her to be forget about his identity.

Inside the room, Chu Xi is walking outside the room and leaving Emma who is already recover and gain her conscious.

"Do you really still have your amnesia?" Professor Lim is interrogating Emma. He can't believe Vito was executing the perfect textbook skill to operate her and as result, she still got the amnesia. This is impossible in medical world, but human hand is different from the God's will.

"What did happen? The last thing in my memory is a bit fuzzy. I am in car accident, and I jump out from the car. who find me?" Emma is asking weakly with a little pain on her head.

"Your ex-fiancée!" Professor Lim is standing and folding his slender arm in front of his chest.

"How can? I can't believe my stupid mistake," Emma is holding her forehead which full bandages.

"Did you really marry the chairman of our hospital? He is the genius God hand, Professor Man Jiang Long. You are really lucky to have him to fix your little brain or else, it will not stay intact like today," Professor Lim is checking into her head bandages. He was remembered the worry husband even do the final bandage on her head which normally scrub nurses' job after the operation.

"Yes, let's say I have a dream premonition after my marriage with my ex-boyfriend that will lead to my death bed. So, I marry someone else. However, I want to know his love for me," Emma is telling his professor the truth about her theory regarding her husband feeling.

"How about if I also have feeling for you? If I also convey my feeling for you even though it is too late. What will happen?" Professor Lim is putting his two hands into his pant pocket and looking really serious.

"You are joking me. It is impossible for you to like me. You always scold me and give me the hardest job compared to the other resident. Everyone in hospital know about our hate and toxic relationship where you like to bully me," Emma is trying to laugh after hearing his joke. Professor Lim tries to fix her oxygen mask on her face due to the facial movement.

"I am not. I am serious and If I pursue your heart. Can you give me hope and chance?" Professor Lim is making his confession.

"What make you to confess now and not before I get marry. If I know it earlier, I will not get marry," Emma is telling him about the confession but deep down she loves her husband dearly. As soon as she finished the last sentences, her husband is coming inside the room with their marriage book.

"I am leaving and please answer my confession," Professor Lim is turning his body and walk away from the bed. He gets enough of his love PDA since inside the operation room. However, He still needs to tell Emma about his own feeling. Now, there is a huge relieves from his heart.

"I am your lawfully husband and this is the proof about our marriage," Vito is showing them the proof of the marriage certificate. Emma is still weak trying to lift her hand and take the marriage book. But her head is kicking fuss again, so she only pointed the table in front of her bed.

"My head is so pain at the moment. Put it on the table and I will look at it later," Emma is trying to close her eyes.

"Wen Liang, get her more morphine or oxycodone! Tell Chu Xi to come and inject the drug into her body and set up the pump with tramadol into her IV." Vito is instructing his cousin as his runner.

"your cousin is the hospital director, right! Why he looks like an errand boy for you?" Andrea is coming to the room and handed a glass of coffee to Vito.

"I can give him the position as hospital director and I also can take him off from the same position," Vito is drinking his coffee. He is telling his right hand without any remorse at all for his cousin suffering.

"Can I talk with you outside?" Andrea is going to report some finding regarding the accident.
