Married To A Savage Duke
Chapter 35.2
Cherryl hurriedly lowered her head.
Cherryl’s gaze kept observing down there that it was getting hard to look him in the eye.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before a maid knocked on the bedroom door.
Cherryl put her feet into the slippers she had taken off under the bed without making eye contact.
Soon, she heard a low voice in her ears.
“Go down the first floor when you’re ready, Lady Cherryl. I told the chef to prepare a separate breakfast since you might want to spend time with the maid who just arrived last night.”
Meals must have been prepared for Lucy and Cherryl so that they could catch up after their reunion.
It had been a long time since they last talked to each other.
Cherryl raised her face to express her gratitude, but Cade’s intense aura made her feel awkward.
Instead of facing him, she quickly turned her gaze away.
“Thanks for your concern, Your Grace.”
“Then, please get out.”
Cade slightly pushed Cherryl’s back so that she would hurry up and move out.
Did he have a lot of work to do?
How dare he told her to sleep in his bedroom and then kick her out as soon as the sun rose?
She assumed he was angry at her and the door slam behind her back confirmed the belief.
The shock she experienced for the first time in her life made Cherryl shake her head.
What did she just witness?
Even if it was covered by cloth, what she faced early that morning was so huge that it made her doubt her eyesight.

“Have you ever been to a Winter Festival, My Lady?”
After breakfast, Lucy asked Cherryl——who was silently chewing her fruit served as dessert——with excitement.
Cherryl seemed to have never heard of her as she stared into space.
“My Lady?”
“What did you just say?”
“I heard that winter festivals are often held inside the Blkhanov estate, so I asked if you’ve been there.”
“I’ve never been to a Winter Festival yet. Who told you that?”
“Lecter told me about it earlier. I heard that there is a fun festival in Carlsvik.”
Lucy had only been in Cade’s Castle for one night, and she seemed to like it very much already.
She stayed up all night chatting with maids of her age at the servant’s quarters and met Mrs. Bailey early this morning.
She guided her to the banquet hall on the first floor of the main castle.
Lucy got nervous since it was her first time meeting another aristocrat’s maid but Mrs. Bailey’s kindness and compliments immediately put her at ease.
After that, Lecter chimed in throughout breakfast, saying that he would show them around the place where they raised wolves.
It seemed scary to see dozens of wolves as small as calves eating raw meat but from the bright expression on Lucy’s face, she looked rather pleased.
While Lucy was having a good time, Cherryl had a minor argument with Cade.
Immediately after that, she witnessed something shocking and until now, she still got distracted by it.
“Did you hear about this city where festivals are held near the Grand Duke’s Fortress? Lecter said that a Winter Festival will be——”
Cherryl wasn’t hearing Lucy’s voice anymore.
Why did the silhouette of Cade’s bulge keep crossing her mind?
How could she forget?
She had this vague foreboding that she would form a married relationship with Cade soon and more physical intimacy would occur shortly.
The Grand Duke’s kisses and caresses weren’t unpleasant.
As her affection for Cade grew, Cherryl also began to draw a little more contact.
However, it was only at a vague level, and she had never thought about it in detail.
Could we do that?
The question was whether Cherryl could accept the Grand Duke’s dizzying and heavy presence that even just his golden gaze could evoke or not.
She also felt anxious that what she had seen earlier wasn’t the entirety of it.
Oh no.
Now, she wanted to postpone the wedding.
No.
Rather than postponing the wedding, she wanted to put off the wedding night that would inevitably follow/
She no longer felt threatened by the tall and muscular Grand Duke.
Recently, Cade had developed a habit of tackling her like a wolf that had forgotten his body’s size.
He had the strength to overpower Cherryl but he had never forced her to do anything she didn’t want to.
But that thing she saw earlier…
Despite Cade’s gentle and careful approach, it was clear that he would strain her delicate form.
She knew it well.
Unlike men, a woman’s first time was painful and unpleasant enough to shed tears.
Furthermore, what if the thing that she had to accept was too big for her that she even mistook it for a club?
The pain that she hadn’t even experienced yet seemed to be vivid.
No.
It might not be too much if she was relaxed enough.
Cherryl shook her head with a frown.
‘No way. I’m sure I can’t do anything with that size. It’s gonna hurt. It’s gonna hurt a lot.’
Her ensuing anxiety was getting ridiculous.
Why was she already worried about this?
Did they have to do it on the wedding night?
She didn’t have to do it if she don’t want to.
Cherryl, who was about to take a sip of lemon tea, halted.
‘It’s not that I don’t want to——’
The thoughts that came to mind were scattered in her head like a tangled thread.
