“It’s alright. What’s going on?” The servant cast a glance at Rosaline. “The escort is looking for you, Your Majesty.”

“The knight is looking for me? What does he want?”

“He didn’t tell me, Your Majesty. He said he wanted to see you as soon as possible because of an urgent matter.” Rosaline, who was looking suspicious, soon nodded. “Tell him to wait a little bit as the tea time is almost over.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

The servant curtsied once more before exiting the breakfast room. As her doubt blossomed, Cherryl watched Rosaline with wide eyes. It appeared like the princess herself hadn’t expected it as well but she didn’t seem particularly suspicious. Soon, Rosaline continued the flow that had been cut off by drinking tea.

“By the way, it seems like the Grand Duke was adamant about kicking me out by the end of the day. Is that right?”

“I didn’t tell you any of that but how did you know? Did you happen to hear the conversation earlier?”

“I didn’t mean it, but it happened. I was expecting to be kicked out. I don’t want to bother you anymore, so I’m thinking of staying at a hotel in a nearby city, not a villa owned by the Grand Duke.” Rosaline wiped her mouth with a napkin as if she was about to get up. Contrary to the rumors, the marriage between Cade and Cherryl wasn’t made in a shady manner. Based on the two’s emotions, it appeared like the wedding would push through no matter what.  Rosaline didn’t want to cling to a job with no chance of success. The problem was Philip, who had a sharp tongue, was something to worry about. He was a threat whenever he opened his mouth.

“Should I get up now?” As if there was nothing to be desired, the princess said it refreshingly. Cherryl felt a sense of futility, wondering whether it was alright to end the conversation like this. Meanwhile, Rosaline had left her no other choice, as she was already shoving her chair.

“Thank you for the tea. I didn’t expect to receive hospitality from Lady Milose and not from the Grand Duke.” Rosaline’s tone seemed displeased but she still thanked her. It was a greeting that came from the heart rather than from courtesy.

“There was no welcome.”

Cherryl, who was in a strange mood, replied in bewilderment. She didn’t have to be sorry. After all, she had served refreshments to the uninvited guest, but a part of her felt uncomfortable. Therefore, it was impossible to serve a feast. They walked out of the breakfast room to the main hall. Then, at the same time, she had to stop walking.

“What?”

In the hall on the first floor, Rosaline’s guards stood with their luggage. Behind them stood Cáde, arm in arm, with his back resting against the pillar of the staircase while five or six Balkan men were seated in very bad positions at the broad staircase. A knight who found Rosaline grumbled and picked up his bag. Cade strode up to the two women.

“I’ve been waiting for your conversation to end. My men will accompany you to your destination, so goodbye.”

“…….”

Although Cade said that he would send out the princess within this day, Cherryl didn’t know that he was waiting for them to leave the breakfast room after preparing to expel her early. In the midst of this, it seemed that Cherryl was the only one who felt embarrassed. Rosaline was briefly lost in thought when she saw the situation in which she was perfectly ready to go out of the Grand Duchy. Then, she turned to the knight.

“I heard you were searching for me. Was it because of this?”

“That’s not true. It’s a little….” The knight, who glossed over the end of his speech, looked at Cade’s countenance. Rosaline, who was looking at the knight, bowed slightly to Cade. “I’m sorry to have caused you to disrespect. I have also spoken to Lady Milose that I will stay at a hotel that isn’t owned by the Grand Duke. We don’t need more escorts.”

“It’s surveillance, not protection. If you’re not going to the villa, I’ll have to accompany you.”

When Cade lowered his gaze to the seated men, they all stood up. Cherryl looked around, looking blankly at the back of the departing party. She opened the wooden locker next to the door and took out an umbrella.  Quickening her steps, Cherryl caught up with Rosaline before she went out and handed her the umbrella.

“Don’t get rained on, Your Majesty.” Rosaline, who had a calm look on her face, accepted with a light smile. “Thank you. I’ll look forward to seeing you again at the wedding.”

Rosaline, who greeted her, glanced back at Cade. At one point he was wrapping himself around Cherryl’s shoulders.

Rosaline smiled despondently and walked away, as the perfect couple looked like they were seeing their guests off.

Cherryl personally felt that time had passed so fast. It was from the time a pleasant voice woke her up, with the sound of curtains clapping. “Today is finally here!” A bright ray of light fell on her face, which she couldn’t wake up from sleep. The rain, which had been pouring for nearly ten days, was clear as if it had never been. Cherryl put the blanket over her with a groan.

“Get up. You shouldn’t be a sleepyhead for today.”

Lucy, who was usually very careful, lifted the blanket and shook her shoulders.

“You might be rumored to be a bride who oversleeps on her wedding day. Get up now!”
