Marvel: Breezing Through History as an Eternal

Chapter 201: On her knees. 2013 CE

Pluto woke up from his trance, only to see everyone staring at him intently.

“You did it again, didn’t you…” Sprite sighed. “I remember you did that once, in Norway, in front of everyone, including Odin…”

“Well, I have done it 4 times now,” said Pluto, he looked at Sprite up and down, checking her out. “You look taller by the way. Congratulations on getting what you want.”

“Thanks to you.” Sprite smiled as she retrieved her other dagger.

Pluto then turned towards Thor and Loki, raising his brow. “You’re going to deal with all this mess, you’ll take responsibility, while me and Sprite will disappear, understand?”

“Well, leave that to me uncle,” said Thor proudly. “I know a couple people from earth now.”

Pluto looked at Thor expressionless, cringing on his bragging. He didn’t say a thing, and turned to Loki. “Here, bring this to your father.”

Pluto gave Loki the Reality stone in his hand, and Loki nervously took it. “You’re giving it to me?”

“Are you blind?” said Pluto, sighing. “Just go, I’ll go too, I’ve had enough of this bullshit. Sprite, say hello to Sersi for me, and come to our house sometimes, Helios wants to see you.”

“He wants to see me now?” Sprite questioned in amusement.

“No, but I want you to see him.” said Pluto straightforwardly, making Sprite sigh.

“Fine, fine. Maybe next summer.”

“Then I’ll see you when I see you.” said Pluto, before disappearing from the place.

Thena was sitting in front of the television. It’s been a whole day since the incident in London, and it is now nighttime in New York. Thena was wearing her silky Lingerie, tapping the remote to the sofa. She was in the bedroom, apparently waiting for a certain someone to come home.

“There have been no reports on who is responsible for the tragedy that has happened in Greenwich today, but Thor, one of the members of the Avengers, said that an Alien was responsible for it and only he and his brother, Loki, who was responsible for the Battle of New York, dealt with the trouble. Though, witnesses say that there are two more unidentified enhanced beings that dealt with Alien, but the so-called God of Thunder has denied any involvement of other individuals. The People of Greenwich has protested on the lack of transparency of the Avengers agency that deals with the extra terrestrial being, and accused the agency of rouge superhumans all over the world. The Avengers did not make any comments regarding the matter.”

“What a mess.” a voice beside her said.

Thena didn’t say anything. Instead, she looked at the clock on the wall, pointing at exactly midnight. “Where have you been?”

“Talking to Cleo about this mess,” said Pluto, sitting beside Thena. “The World Security Council is now pressuring SHIELD to give the council information about all superhuman beings that have been identified.”

“Including us?”

“Especially us,” said Pluto. “But it doesn’t matter anyway, Fury and SHIELD don't remember us, nor have any files on us anymore.”

Thena quickly stood up from the sofa, making Pluto stand up as well. “Where are you going?” asked Pluto.

“Well now you’re home, I’m going to sleep. What else would we do?” said Thena with a poker face, looking at Pluto.

Pluto leaned on the sofa, sitting on the arm of it. “I don’t know.. Talk?”

“About what?”

“Problems.” Pluto shrugged. “I mean, our son has probably scored some points for Gwen's parents.”

“So?”

“So it’s good.” said Pluto as if it was the most natural thing to say. “I mean, we are planning to–”

“Pluto, they’re 13…”

“Ugh, so what, Helen married that douche when she was like 14…”

“Those were different times…” Thena sighed.

“Alright, let's talk about something else.” Pluto shrugged. “Either I get some free time with my new ‘progressive’ wife…”

Thena just looked at him from top to bottom, a faint smirk on her face. “Or?”

“Or…” Pluto stood from the arm of the sofa and crossed his arms in front of his chair, also with a smirk. “She could get on her knees.”

Thena just chuckled and shook her head at the jab. She was about to ‘get on her knees’, but suddenly, a door knocked.

“Ahem… is this a bad time for my interruption?” an elderly voice knocked on the door.

“What the hell…” Pluto grumbled, he opened the door, only to see Odin, standing innocently in front of his bedroom door. “What are you doing here, it’s trespassing.”

“I just want to give you this back.” said Odin, who cannot contain his smirk. He opened his palms, revealing the Reality stone.

“What? Why are you giving me this?” said Pluto in annoyance.

“I remember that you asked me this a couple years back.”

“Well I don’t need it anymore.” Pluto grumbled.

“Think of it as a favour,” said Odin. “take it, I insist. I trust that you can guard it with your life.”

Pluto sighed. “Fine, just go away, you’re ruining my night, old man.”

Odin laughed at the jab. “You are an old man too, if I remember.”

“Alright, just go…” Pluto pushed him away from the door, towards the front door. He opened it, and pushed Odin outside. “Heimdall! Bring your king back to his place!”

“Well, I’m truly sorry to ruin your night.” Odin smirked at him, and didn't look sorry at all. “Farewell then friend, might we meet again.”

“I hope not.” Pluto sighed. And after that, Odin was swallowed by the bifrost, disappearing from the dark street of Queens.
