Because of this reason Emma sheltered Jean under her wings, she is interested in her power. She thinks that she can use her to help the Hell Club and her goal, but her relationship with her stalker only makes her more unstable.

To be honest, she wanted to kill Scott and forget about this problem. But she knows that things can't be resolved this way, after all, if she does, Jean will start to hate her, and Emma doesn't want that, she needs Jean's trust.
