Master Grim Reaper Makes His Debut in Center Position

Ch43 - Sexy Master, Turning Around Online

This was the second time Lu Xu had come to Ji Xiunian’s room, it was just that the first time had been to look for Ba Mei, and the second time was to stay over.

Seeing that some of his clothes had been drenched, Ji Xiunian rifled through his closet and found a set of clothes for him. “I haven’t worn this before. You can put this on first.” He then remembered that Lu Xu had to shower, and went to the cloakroom to find a bathrobe for Lu Xu, then urged him to go take a hot shower.

“Thank you, Nian ge.” Lu Xu liked cleanliness. The wet clothes sticking to his body didn’t feel comfortable. He wasn’t as polite as Ji Xiunian and dragged Ba Mei to the bathroom.

While Lu Xu showered, Ji Xiunian sat in his room. It was clean and there wasn’t anything to tidy up. It was just that he was used to living on his own. Now that there was suddenly another person in the room, Ji Xiunian felt that he had to do something.

He got up and took out some milk from the fridge to warm it up, preparing a glass of warm milk for Lu Xu.

Then he went to find some canned snacks, and even poured out a bit of cat food, thinking that Ba Mei could eat some more later.

The pillow and quilt were a complete set, so there was no need to go and specially prepare it.

After he changed into his pyjamas and tidied up the room, he heard Lu Xu call his name from the bathroom. “Nian ge, can you come over and help me with something?”

“Coming.” Ji Xiunian walked to the bathroom and opened the door.

Not only did Lu Xu have a youthful face, he also had a slender and beautiful figure. He wasn’t considered muscular, but his abs were beautiful and his waist was thin, his shoulders broad.

Ji Xiunian always knew that Lu Xu was pale, but he hadn’t expected him to look so dazzling under the steam, every muscle was as beautiful as he was.

It had to be said that Lu Xu had excellent genetics. He was skinny with clothes on and well-built without. Ji Xiunian couldn’t help but think that if Lu Xu wanted to use his figure as a selling point some time, it was highly likely that the fans would go crazy on the spot.

“Nian ge, I haven’t showered yet. Can you help me blow-dry Ba Mei first?”

As Lu Xu said that, he passed over a little kitty wrapped firmly in a bath towel. Other than its head, its entire body was wet.

“Okay.”

Facing Ba Mei’s little watery eyes, Ji Xiunian unconsciously carried it out to the sofa.

Ji Xiunian didn’t have any experience in taking care of cats. He could only try to figure it out.

It was good that Ba Mei was a good and intelligent kitty. It sat there obediently the whole time without moving, letting Ji Xiunian use the blow dryer to dry its entire body.

The wet fur clung to Ba Mei’s body, quite clearly showing that its body was very stocky.

Everyone else’s cat was basically pseudo-fat. Once they got wet, it would expose their skinny bodies. Only Ba Mei’s chubbiness was the real thing, its body rotund without any shrinking.

Ji Xiunian saw this wet, fat orange cat turn into a soft and fluffy kitty, and felt an inexplicable sense of satisfaction.

At some point, he even thought that if he could always take care of Ba Mei, how happy that would be.

Just as he was considering the possibility of such a thing, Lu Xu had finally come out after finishing showering and said to him “Nian ge, I’ve finished showering, You should hurry and wash up too.”

“Okay.” Ji Xiunian petted Ba Mei’s head, and then casually grabbed a towel and went to the bathroom.

“You have quite a lot of face.” Seeing Ba Mei lying comfortably on the sofa, Lu Xu laughed and sat down beside it, lamenting. A kitty being able to get the Film Emperor to blow-dry its fur, Ba Mei really was the first of its kind.

Lu Xu was just about to dry Ba Mei’s fur a little more when suddenly there was a knock on the door. “Xiunian, are you asleep?”

The voice belonged to Fan Zeng, and his tone carried some anxiety.

Lu Xu couldn’t help but think about Lai Chengshan, and immediately walked to the bathroom and said, “Nian ge, Fan Zeng is at the door, it seems like something happened.”

Ji Xiunian, who had been showering, turned off the faucet, and said to Lu Xu who was outside, “Let Fan Zeng come in first, I’ll be done showering soon.”

After obtaining the host’s permission, Lu Xu very naturally went to open the door and then saw Fan Zeng’s dumbfounded face.

After Fan Zeng was busy editing, he had heard of the big incident. Seeing that Ji Xiunian had sent him a message not too long ago, he thought that he probably hadn’t gone to sleep yet, so he couldn’t help but come over to chat.

He would have never expected that the one to open the door wasn’t Ji Xiunian, but Lu Xu. What was even more strange was that Lu Xu was wearing a loosely tied bathrobe, it was obvious that he had just taken a shower.

Fan Zeng wasn’t quite sure what he was seeing, and couldn’t stop himself from asking, “Lu Xu, how come you’re here? Where’s Xiunian?”

Lu Xu raised his hand and pointed to the bathroom, very honestly saying, “He’s showering.”

“Eh?” Fan Zeng was even more confused. Lu Xu wasn’t in his own dorm and had come running here, the instructor was even inside taking a shower…

Fan Zeng had been in the industry for so long, there wasn’t a single nasty thing that he hadn’t seen.

If it had been anyone else, Fan Zeng would have definitely thought of the instructor fraternising with the trainees, that kind of thing. But that person was Ji Xiunian, he wouldn’t do that kind of thing.

As though to confirm his thoughts, Lu Xu immediately explained and even invited him inside. “I accompanied Nian ge to burn the clothes and came back a bit late. The dorm doors were locked and I couldn’t go in, so I had to trouble Nian ge.”

“So that’s it.” Fan Zeng didn’t doubt him and just came in, changing his shoes.

Lu Xu poured him a glass of water and asked, “Fan ge, you came over even though it’s so late. Did something happen?”

When Lu Xu mentioned this, Fan Zeng immediately thought of that piece of news and couldn’t help but feel somewhat depressed. “Ai, you have to steady yourself before I say it. I’m afraid you’re too young and you’ll be frightened hearing it…”

Lu Xu could basically guess what he wanted to say, but he still pretended he didn’t understand and urged him curiously, “Fan ge, just say it outright. I’m very brave.”

Fan Zeng thought about it; Lu Xu’s words seemed to make some sense.

Even he, who had lived for so many years, was afraid at the mention of ghosts. Lu Xu was only eighteen and had personally seen the ghosts, but could still keep it a secret—no matter what, this child was really responsible. He was much more reliable than people years older than him.

Fan Zeng saw that Lu Xu’s expression was completely tranquil and he subconsciously also became calmer. He couldn’t resist clicking his tongue and sighed as he said, “Lu Xu ah, do you still remember Master Lai that just came over?”

Lu Xu nodded. “Fan ge, are you talking about that scammer?”

“Yes, him, ai!”

Lu Xu asked despite knowing, “What happened to him?”

Fan Zeng sighed again and said, “He died, I heard there was a car accident…”

In the era of the internet, news spread in explosions. Even a small incident could be transmitted a thousand miles in a flash.

After the Dongcheng police department issued a traffic incident report, people quickly came forward with the report that the deceased was Lai Chengshan.

[@Circle Outcast Puppy: I heard a friend say that the person who died in the Panshan Highway incident was Master Lai. He had just talked about Lu Xu’s short lifespan, and then he was immediately in a car accident…emmmm, the world is quite inconsistent]

It was originally just an ordinary accident report and would have been quickly forgotten about by others if it hadn’t been for this. Additionally, it involved Lai Chengshan’s name and this incident became a hot topic.

Most of the netizens first reactions were of disbelief; after all, Master Lai’s prophetic abilities were deeply ingrained into their minds—

[@Apple Not Phone: How come people nowadays dare to say anything? Is it really good to say it’s Master Lai just because you saw that the last name was Lai?]

[@I Believe In The Power of Metaphysics: Master Lai is so powerful, how could he suddenly die? Does this rumour-maker have no heart?]

[@Also Very Depressed Today: When I saw this explosive news, I felt like it was fake. When I clicked on the reporting person’s Weibo, I saw that he had voted for Lu Xu. Isn’t it just because Master Lai predicted the death of your family’s beloved idol? Are you so eager to be punished for spreading false rumours?]

[@[email protected]: Lu Xu’s fans are so ridiculous. They’ve refreshed my three views of the world.]

Many netizens who believed in Lai Chengshan subconsciously put the label of ‘rumour-maker’ onto Lu Xu’s fans. They were now in conflict.

As expected, when Lu Xu’s fans saw this they exploded; how could they carry the blame for someone else’s faults––

[@A Sweet Lemon: We won’t stand for taking our Xu son. I wish your family’s master a long life but don’t tie our son into this, okay?]

[@Sweet Little Sour Plum: Your family’s master made up lies about someone else’s lifespan and it was fine, but when others talk about him it’s a false rumour— haha, you guys are pretty two-faced.]

The person who began the report jumped out—

[@Circle Outcast Puppy: I’m not a Lu Xu fan but I like him. And I didn’t spread any false rumours, the person who died in the car accident really is Master Lai. If you don’t believe me then go and investigate. I’m willing to take legal responsibility!]

Seeing that the reporter had a resolute attitude, many netizens became hesitant— no way, the person who died really was Master Lai?!

[@Sweetheart Chocolate: @Boundless Beneficence Master Lai V Master Master, someone said you died, waiting online for you to refute.]

The Lai Chengshan who had once been laughed at by fans for always being on Weibo did not make an appearance this time. Even when netizens discussed his death all the way to the hot search, Master Lai’s account did not have any reactions.

[@Understanding Fitness Through Swimming: Fuck, this really isn’t Master Lai’s style. Others have already said he’s dead. According to his personality, if nothing has happened then he would have long since chased them around to cuss them out. Now that there hasn’t been any activity for a quite a while… I have this bad feeling]

[@Powerful Energy Rushing to the Heavens Nian020: I don’t understand why you guys believe in that spiritual fake. He’s just a money scammer and trash swindler. If he really died then it can only be retribution. I will post something even more explosive. I bet once you guys see it you’ll understand why I hate him so much…]

[@Empress Loli: It’s not that I want something bad to happen to him, but if the person in the car accident really was him, then isn’t it a turnaround? Since he had just been madly cursing my Lu son?]

There was no definitive news online yet, but Fan Zeng had heard from a friend that the person who had died really was Lai Chengshan.

He sat on the sofa and sighed to Lu Xu. “If people knew that he came here before he died, won’t the internet explode completely?”

Tofu: Couldn’t help but lol when Fan Zeng asked Lu Xu if he still remembered the Master Lai that just came over. The man was literally there no more than two hours ago lmaoooo
