Tao Yingbo had been dead for ten years, and he had loathed Qu Dehui for ten years.

When he had met his enemy, his eyes had reddened. Especially because Qu Dehui didn’t know of his existence, it was difficult for Tao Yingbo to express his hatred.

Last night, Tao Yingbo had finally been unable to hold it in, and ran over to knock on Qu Dehui’s room’s door in the middle of the night. Ghosts were not living beings after all; in order to enter one’s room, they needed a human’s consent. For example, opening the door after knocking.

Even though he clearly knew that Qu Dehui wouldn’t be able to see him, Tao Yingbo still endlessly and gently knocked on the door over and over again.

“Who is it?” Qu Dehui hadn’t been asleep at the time, merely lying there in preparation to go to sleep. He thought it was rather annoying that someone was knocking on his door in the middle of the night.

He first asked twice who it was, but no one responded.

He thought it was rather out of the ordinary, yet when he sat up to adjust his position, the knocking sounded again.

“Are they sick.” Qu Dehui muttered quietly to himself, and got up angrily to open the door. He wanted to see who was bothering him with bad intentions at night.

But when he opened his door, other than a gust of wind, it was completely empty outside his door, with not a single person in sight.

Slam!

Qu Dehui closed the door heavily, his heart set on the fact that someone was playing a vicious prank on him. But in this kind of situation, he didn’t know who would be so bored, and could only raise the issue up with the program staff the next day to check out the situation.

He thought of it like this and went back to his bed to lie down, holding his phone and messaging who knew what to whom.

Where he couldn’t see, Tao Yingbo was currently viciously staring at him.

If it weren’t for this person, his songs would have still been his own. If it weren’t for him, maybe he wouldn’t be deceased right now.

Why was it that he had been harmed like this, yet the perpetuator hadn’t been affected in the slightest?

Not fair, it really wasn’t fair!

The more Tao Yingbo thought of this, the angrier he became. Immediately afterwards, he floated over and reached his hand out, wanting to strangle his neck. The moment his hand touched Qu Dehui’s body, it went through it, and it was impossible for him to do any sort of bodily harm to him.

Tao Yingbo tried several times until he had exhausted himself to his limits, yet Qu Dehui merely continued sending messages with a smirk, completely unaware of Tao Yingbo’s existence.

Tao Yingbo was both furious and frantic, but he had absolutely no solutions, and could only lie down by Qu Dehui’s side.

At a casual glance, he glimpsed his chat records.

He was flipping through several records at the same time, chatting with several women. They were from all over the place, but Qu Dehui called all of them darling.

“Pei, scum man!” It was obvious to anyone what Qu Dehui was doing. Tao Yingbo couldn’t bear watching and couldn’t help but curse at him.

The more he thought about it, the more it didn’t help him vent. He casually hit Qu Dehui’s head, thinking that this person really had a pit in their mind.

The strange thing was, when Tao Yingbo had finished hitting Qu Dehui’s head, the Qu Dehui who had continuously not shown a single reaction suddenly raised his hand to rub at his brows.

“Weird, how come it’s suddenly itchy?” He talked to himself with no knowledge of what was actually going on, but Tao Yingbo had just received a huge shock.

Carrying an attitude of wanting to experiment, he once again reached his hand out and tapped his forehead again. Who knew, there was actually a reaction this time.

Tao Yingbo hit harder this time, hitting his forehead again and again.

Qu Dehui only felt that his forehead suddenly felt uncomfortable, but couldn’t figure out why. He could only comfort himself by sleeping first before trying to figure it out. But even with that, he slept uncomfortably throughout the night.

In the morning when he walked into the bathroom yawning, Qu Dehui only then discovered that his forehead was a little red, but he didn’t know why.

Tao Yingbo had hit his forehead all night, and his mood was relieved by quite a bit. He couldn’t resist waiting behind Qu Dehui for another opportunity.

It was only when he arrived at the vocal group and the recording began that Tao Yingbo remembered his own composing duties.

Although he didn’t want to let Qu Dehui off so easily, Tao Yingbo still hurriedly went to the composition group’s classroom. It was also only when he left that he discovered that he had this kind of vengeful heart…

“I really didn’t do it on purpose, how about I distance myself from him in the future. I won’t do anything on my own anymore…” Tao Yingbo’s actions had exceeded their expectations. He wasn’t sure how Lu Xu would view him.

“So, your actions could bring him actual physical harm?”

“It was only to a small degree…”

“That’s true, if it’s only a bit of reaction then it’s easy to deal with.” Lu Xu suddenly smiled and looked at Tao Yingbo as he said, “A drop of water will wear away a stone over time.”

“Right!” Tao Yingbo hurriedly nodded, thinking that Lu Xu’s words were logical. “I hit him over and over again to make him itchy, but once I did it many times, his forehead became red too.”

“Yes.” Lu Xu nodded and didn’t explicitly limit Tao Yingbo’s actions.

Tao Yingbo pretty much realised his meaning, and only said that he wouldn’t harm other people’s life forces even if he became vengeful again.

Ji Xiunian had been listening at the side to the two of them discussing the situation. The more he listened, the more he thought something was strange. He had discovered a long time ago that F4 was too respectful and held Lu Xu in too high of a regard. If they were merely fans facing their idol, there was no need for them to be respectful to this degree.

The Tao Yingbo right now was like this too. Although he was talking about his own enemy and situation, he was spending a lot of effort to control his emotions in front of Lu Xu.

For some reason, Ji Xiunian instinctively felt that Lu Xu was hiding something else from him.

It was only after Tao Yingbo left that Lu Xu finally glanced at Ji Xiunian, as if expecting ahead of time that he would have questions to ask him.

Facing such a pretty face, Ji Xiunian felt that it was very difficult to suspect him of anything.

He merely smiled. After the two of them chatted about a few simple things, Lu Xu carried Ba Mei back to his own room.

Ji Xiunian sent him off, then sat on the couch and reflected on past events, trying to figure them out and sort out a timeline in his head.

He didn’t think Lu Xu was hiding any secrets he couldn’t tell anyone; he merely wanted to understand him better.

On the other side, the moment Lu Xu went back to the dorm room, he began yawning.

Xu Haoming couldn’t help but be concerned when he saw this and said, “Xu ge, your composition group must be very difficult ah, you have to spend your entire time thinking.”

“Mn.” Lu Xu didn’t deny it, and merely made a noise of agreement.

Song Zhe continued the topic. “Then we should sleep earlier today. Lu Xu, you should go rest early. We have to continue recording tomorrow.”

Lu Xu followed his advice. “Mhm, thanks, Zhe ge.”

As the youngest member in the dorm, Lu Xu received a hundred percent of the care from the three others. They saw that he went to sleep, but none of them would have thought that once the three of them fell asleep, the quilt on Lu Xu’s bed would fall down.

Today was the Grim Reaper Bureau’s assembly date, for the purpose of deciding what to do with Xie An.

“I feel like there’s not much to debate here. Wrong things have their consequences. If it’s not serious this time, what if other people follow his example in the future?”

“But Xie An does his job very well other than this one instance. If you look at it holistically, you can’t beat him to death for this one instance.”

Lu Xu arrived a little later than the appointment time and he could already hear people ceaselessly discussing Xie An inside the doors when he arrived at the entrance.

He walked inside calmly and without any hurry. The entire assembly quieted down, every gaze directed towards him.

“My apologies, everyone, I was a bit busy with my mission so I’ve come a bit late.” Lu Xu first apologised politely, then smiled towards the crowd. “You guys continue, I also want to hear what everyone thinks of Xie An’s situation.”
