Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts

#117 - End of term (asking for monthly tickets and recommendation tickets)

Anduin also felt very helpless about this, but although these investigations had little effect on those pure-blood families, they also restrained their arrogance a lot, which even affected those pure-blood Slytherin students.

No one had been tracking him for a while, which meant he had fewer practice materials for Legilimency and Memory Charms. During the previous period, Anduin's progress in these two spells was gratifying because he could practice on live subjects.

However, he didn't dare to blatantly grab some pure-blood wizards to 'use'. Professor Bones was monitoring Hogwarts regardless of who you were. Recently, Anduin also noticed that a faint wave of magic occasionally swept past him. It seemed that the professor was afraid he would cause trouble and had included him in the observation list.

Since that's the case, then I'll deal with those guys all at once next semester. He didn't want to keep enemies that kept him awake at night.

And so, Anduin's second year at Hogwarts came to an end. Professor Bones resigned two weeks before the final exams. Although the Dark Lord had disappeared, he didn't want to challenge the power of the curse on the Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Anduin completed all his exams this year with top marks, while Vivian still had serious subject preferences, barely passing other subjects besides History of Magic.

At the end-of-year farewell banquet, Headmaster Dumbledore announced the House Cup winner for the year. The honest and reliable Hufflepuff House took home the final crown. Ravenclaw's Quidditch matches were almost all losses this year, which put them behind a lot of points. Slytherin and Gryffindor still completely slacked off, and this year they were still fighting fiercely, with more points deducted than added.

When choosing third-year elective courses, after consideration, he decided to choose Ancient Runes and Care of Magical Creatures.

He was already very familiar with Ancient Runes. Choosing this course basically guaranteed that he would get an excellent grade in it. And after being in contact with Hagrid for a long time, he also had a deep understanding of magical creature knowledge, and mastering more magical creature knowledge would also be very helpful to his alchemy.

For the sake of safety this summer, and after obtaining the consent of Professor McGonagall and Headmaster Dumbledore, he cautiously decided to stay at school. He planned to stay in the Forbidden Forest cabin for these two months. Hagrid was very happy about this, and he would also have time to continue his research.

"I won't be able to go back with you this year, Charles. Remember to keep training. Your current progress is still not ideal. I plan to increase the intensity next semester, so don't fall behind," Anduin gave his two friends his final instructions.

Vivian nodded with a smile, while Charles gave a wry smile. Anduin had tormented him terribly this year.

After sending his two friends on the train, Anduin turned back to Hogwarts. At this moment, several vicious gazes stared straight at him.

"Damn it, that guy never leaves the school, what should we do?" Wilkes said angrily in the carriage.

"Hmph, it's all because of you. You always send people to monitor him. Anyone would know they're being watched. I told you to be more discreet, but you didn't understand? It's just stirring up a hornet's nest," Rowle Yaxley stroked the few hairs that had grown on his chin.

"What if he keeps hiding next semester?" Travers chimed in from the side.

"Don't worry, that Professor Bones is no longer here, and Vanessa has also graduated. Next semester, Slytherin will be under my control, and I'll find a way to force that guy to submit," Yaxley looked at everyone, revealing a charming smile.

"Ha, what do you think we should do to clean up that Mudblood? He actually dares to challenge the honor of pure-blood families," Wilkes also smiled viciously.

"I want to dig out his eyes. I feel disgusted just looking at that guy's eyes," Travers's expression was twisted, presumably thinking of some bad memories.

"Whatever you do, but remember, no killing, at least not at school, otherwise there will be big trouble," Yaxley reminded.

"I don't think those dirty Mudbloods should be allowed to enroll in the first place. Dumbledore must be out of his mind," Travers muttered hatefully.

At this time, Rosier, who was also in the carriage, swallowed nervously, listening to these guys spouting nonsense. But a glimmer of hope rose in his heart. If they really got rid of Anduin, wouldn't he no longer be controlled by others?

But then he thought it wasn't right. If Anduin revealed that Rosier had helped him, the consequences for him would be even more terrible.

"Have your families received any news? Where exactly is that Potter family survivor? Does anyone know what the Dark Lord's current situation is?"

Yaxley suddenly changed the subject and asked about Voldemort's situation.

"I don't know, but my uncle said that he's sure the Dark Lord didn't really die, and one day he will return," Travers said.

Yaxley glanced at Travers. He knew that the person from the Travers family was a fanatical believer of the Dark Lord, so it was not surprising that he had such a view. Then he glanced at Rosier and asked, "What about your family?"

When Rosier saw Yaxley asking him, he stammered, "I, I don't know. Father seems, I mean seems, not very sure that the Dark Lord can return."

Hearing Rosier's words, Yaxley angrily pulled up the cuff of his left hand. Everyone saw that on the inside of his left arm was a striking Dark Mark, a black skull with a snake spiraling out of its mouth, still wriggling slightly on the skin.

Seeing Yaxley's display, everyone in the carriage showed different expressions: awe, fear, envy, and even ecstasy.

"Hmph, the Dark Lord's mark still exists, which is the best proof. The fire of our ideals will not be extinguished. Betrayal always starts with people who are not steadfast enough. You should advise your father to uphold pure-blood supremacy, which is our common interest!" Yaxley said sternly, seeing Rosier's cowardly appearance.

"Yes, yes, I understand."

When Rosier heard Yaxley say the word 'betrayal', his heart skipped a beat and cold sweat almost broke out.

"Don't mention it. Since the Dark Lord disappeared, things haven't been easy for the various families. That woman Millicent has been watching the families every day, and the Lestranges have also been arrested. It was originally said that they planned to deal with that Professor Bones this summer, but unfortunately that guy escaped," Travers sighed.
