Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts
#317 - Joey and Gemma
"Of course, I remember." Anduin smiled at her, narrowing his eyes. This Aselia was hiding quite a few secrets. At least, her strength didn't seem as weak as Arthur had described.
"I didn't expect your shop to open so quickly." Aselia modestly flicked her hair, then surveyed the inside of the shop, casually browsing the products displayed on the shelves.
However, there weren't many props on display at the moment. They were mostly the ones she had seen in the Ministry of Magic's demonstration hall. Things like the humanoid target and the disruptor weren't even on display.
She didn't actually know the rating of Anduin's products. She guessed he was rushing orders, so he hadn't restocked yet.
"You flatter me. My company was actually almost ready before, just waiting for the Ministry of Magic's license. And this is my grand opening, so you're my first customer." Anduin smiled appropriately, then walked out from behind the counter and pointed towards the back door.
"The Ministry of Magic's goods are all in the back. Come with me to inspect them. By the way, there's a lot of stuff. Did you bring a space expansion item?"
Aselia calmly smoothed her temples and smiled, "Don't worry. Since I'm here to pick up goods, how could I not be prepared?"
Then, Aselia followed Anduin to the back room. The decoration style inside wasn't much different from the outside, but it was more spacious, with basically no furnishings. A long table was unfolded along the side of the room, with two large trays neatly placed on top, each with glasses and handcuffs stacked neatly.
"You can inspect the goods slowly in here. If you encounter any problems, just call me. I still have to watch the store in the front." Anduin pointed to the goods in the trays and then leisurely walked out.
Aselia shook her head speechlessly when she saw that he had confidently left her here. Then, she silently looked at the pile of equipment in front of her. She had to try each one. It was really unbearable.
After walking out of the room, Anduin returned to the counter and gently touched a mirror on the table. Aselia's figure appeared in the mirror. The main reason he was so confident in Aselia was that he had made preparations and wasn't afraid of her causing trouble.
Aselia behaved quite honestly, just standing there silently inspecting the goods.
However, Anduin knew in his heart that there was definitely something wrong with this beauty. She clearly had good strength, but she still maintained the persona of a pretty face.
But he didn't care about her secrets as long as she didn't provoke him. After all, he had quite a few secrets of his own.
"Ding!"
The crisp sound of a bell interrupted Anduin's thoughts. It was another customer.
Anduin's shop had a pretty good location in Diagon Alley. There was a lot of foot traffic outside the shop, and it was currently the summer vacation, with a large number of new and returning students who needed to buy teaching aids traveling back and forth in Diagon Alley.
So, in a short while, the shop was full of people. After all, a new shop had suddenly appeared in the alley, and everyone wanted to come in and take a look and join in the fun.
Most of them were underage wizards. They dragged their parents into the shop, touching and looking around, and then they saw the product descriptions and prices on the shelves.
"Good heavens, a defensive amulet costs 12 Galleons? This whatchamacallit watch actually sells for 60 Galleons?" The parent of a young wizard couldn't help but exclaim at the prices on the shelves.
In the shop, the retail price of the products was much higher than the wholesale price. In order to allow the members of the Ministry of Magic to feel the price advantage, Anduin increased the price of all products by about 20%.
Faced with these customers' reactions, he just gave a slight smile and didn't explain anything. After all, the effect of his things was there. If they wanted to buy, they could buy. If they couldn't afford it, then forget it.
"Head?"
A familiar voice came. Anduin turned his head and saw that it was Joey, the fourth-year group leader. Of course, he was rising to fifth grade this year, and he and Mona had also been selected as prefects. He didn't expect to meet him here.
"Joey, you don't need to be so restrained outside of school. Are you here in Diagon Alley to buy new teaching aids?" Anduin didn't keep a straight face like he did at school, but looked at him with a gentle smile.
"You are our Head, and that is a fact that will never change." Joey was still as well-dressed as the students at school. He was sincerely grateful to Anduin because, because of the Head, he was now the pride of his family.
"I'm here today with my cousin to buy teaching aids. She's going to enroll this year." Joey smiled and stepped aside, revealing a little girl behind him. "Gemma, this is our Slytherin Head. Say hello quickly."
"Hello, I'm Gemma Farley." The little girl Gemma asked hello timidly. She was very strange. How could her brother, who was usually straightforward in the family, be so well-behaved in front of this man?
"Hello." Anduin nodded slightly to the little wizard, then looked at Joey again. "My shop just opened today. Pick whatever you like. Choose something as a gift for your sister. It's on me."
Gemma and Joey couldn't help but look at each other when they heard this. Gemma's eyes revealed an expression of excitement.
"Head, did you open this alchemy trading company?" Joey realized now that they hadn't met by chance, but had come to the Head's own company.
"That's right. Don't you think the surrounding goods look familiar? I even used some of them when I was training you."
"This is... the protective gloves that you had Ibb and them test before? And the communication amulet. So that's it. You were always testing before to prepare for opening a company?" Joey carefully looked at the surrounding goods at this time and found that there were indeed many that he had seen in Anduin's hands.
"That's right. Pick whatever you like. The first item is free." It was the grand opening, and Anduin was in a very good mood, so he said generously.
"Thank you, Head." Joey knew that the Head was a man of his word. Then, he looked around and picked a pair of protective gloves for Gemma. This prop was as flexible and free as a shield. He had been quite envious when he saw them testing it at school before. Now, he could finally have a pair.
"By the way, Head, do you sell the humanoid target that you made?" Joey hadn't forgotten the pain of queuing up for practice every day at school. If he could get one of these humanoid targets separately, wouldn't that be great?
"Yes, but I can't sell it yet. It needs to be slightly modified before it can be put on the market. Do you guys like that prop very much?" Anduin raised his eyebrows and asked with a bit of curiosity.
