Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts
#647 - Shooting Lesson (asking for monthly ticket recommendation)
When Harry and the other first-year students finished their tactical training class and returned to the Great Hall, they immediately attracted everyone's attention.
"Haha... what are you all dressed like?" George and Fred couldn't help but burst into laughter, looking at Harry and his group covered in colorful prints.
At this time, the first-year students, having fought fiercely with Hogg, were all marked to varying degrees. Even girls like Hermione were no exception, so their bodies were covered in colorful marks. It wasn't so bad that their clothes were stained with colored prints, but the marks on their faces were too obvious.
Ron, Harry, Neville, and Malfoy, who charged the most fiercely, were the worst, looking like human-shaped neon lights.
"Damn it, Professor Wilson didn't even tell us that the marks from these paintballs are luminous. Now we're more conspicuous than magic lamps," Ron muttered, sulking.
"Isn't it because you're too stupid? You didn't even think to dodge when you saw Hogg's counterattack," Malfoy pointed at Ron's face and chuckled. "Your eyes look like two red-hot coals, it's hilarious."
"You have the nerve to talk about me? You were just hiding behind us, you idiot," Ron glared at him dissatisfiedly. "And you, Christmas tree, have the nerve to laugh at others. You better take a look in the mirror!"
After the class, Malfoy and Ron continued to bicker. After entering the Great Hall, they exchanged a few harsh words before separating with a 'hmph'.
But it was clear that after that class, the relationship between the two groups was not as tense as before, although they still disliked each other somewhat.
"Harry, tell us, what exactly did you experience? How did you all change color after just one afternoon?" Fred and George immediately crowded around Harry and his friends after they sat down.
Harry scratched his head awkwardly, but still smiled with lingering interest, "It's just the tactical training class in the afternoon. Don't let our appearance fool you, this class was really interesting..."
Then Harry, Ron, and Neville began to chat with their housemates about what happened in class, their words sparking excitement in the eyes of the Gryffindor students.
"So the first class didn't involve any training and had games to play? That's much more interesting than our Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Professor Quirrell's smell almost made us faint!" George chuckled, using his finger to rub the colored print on Ron's face.
"I remember we have a training class tomorrow! I've long disliked that Hogg bastard. He's even more annoying than Peeves now. We're going to teach him a lesson tomorrow," Fred said with a sinister smile, cracking his knuckles.
"Then you'll probably have to spend a day with those colorful marks. The professor said that the marks left by the paintballs only last for three hours, but they haven't faded at all. I think there's clearly something wrong with the quality of these toys!" Ron irritably brushed off George's hand, then grumbled.
George shook his head dismissively, "But I think those colorful paintballs you mentioned are quite interesting. I'm definitely going to buy a few sets to play with during the Christmas holidays. We'll let Ginny know what's up."
"Hehe, that's a good idea. I didn't expect that even Andre has studied these kinds of joke items. Maybe we can discuss it with our big brother and put our products up for sale in Silver Shimmer Merchantile," Fred praised George's suggestion.
"What? Are you also making these kinds of toys?" Harry was surprised to hear that the twins had this hobby.
"Of course, look at this!" George took out a candy box from his pocket. "This is 'Instant Class-Skipping Candy', with multiple flavors, the best choice for skipping class. For example, this is Puking Pastilles. Eating one will make you puke for a long time."
After hearing George's introduction, Harry leaned back in disgust. "But can this stuff fool the Silver Shimmer Amulet?"
"Well..." George smiled awkwardly, "We didn't expect Andre to create a Silver Shimmer Amulet."
"Then what's the use of your broken candy besides making people sick?" Ron rolled his eyes speechlessly.
"We're still researching other products. Besides, it's only that we can't fool the amulet now. Maybe we can find a way to trick the system in the future?" Fred muttered, unwilling to give up.
"Then do you think Uncle Wilson will update the amulet after you research new products? Do you think your little tricks can fool him?" Ron shook his head in disdain.
George and Fred immediately started playfully fighting with their brother after seeing his expression. Then the Gryffindor cubs spent the evening banquet in laughter.
After they returned to the common room, Harry, Ron, Neville, and others coincidentally approached Hermione.
After the afternoon training class, everyone became very interested in improving their intelligence attribute. Harry wanted to develop his strengths, Ron didn't want his attributes to look so ordinary, and Neville, whose weakest point was magic sensitivity, was the most eager.
Faced with their humble requests for guidance, Hermione showed enough patience. Although she always reprimanded everyone's mistakes in a condescending manner, everyone needed her help, so they still greeted her with smiles.
However, the young wizards who had just received their wands were still unfamiliar with the magic that had been combed through by the wands, and they were also unfamiliar with the spells, so their spellcasting was still somewhat obscure.
After a night of practice, although everyone successfully cast the Levitation Charm a few times, they still couldn't guarantee 100% success.
...
The next day, the third-year students, who were about to have their first class, walked towards the ring of stones with smiles. They had all heard from the new students yesterday that the first tactical training class seemed to be very easy.
"Today, I'm going to let Hogg know why the flowers are so red," George said with a sly smile, taking out something and showing it to Fred. "Look, I brought dungbombs. If we're going to play the paintball game later, I'll mix them into the ammunition and guarantee Hogg will get a taste of it."
"Hehe, I brought some too!" Fred patted his bulging pockets, not wanting to be outdone. "That Hogg bastard even dared to yell at us during morning exercise. He probably doesn't know how powerful we are."
The two smiled at each other, then unconsciously quickened their pace.
But when they arrived at the training ground, they found that Andre was actually waiting for them outside, and didn't lead them into the so-called 'First Training Room' as Harry and others had described last night.
"Hurry up! Today's class is very intensive, don't waste time!"
Just as the third-year students were puzzled, Andre looked at them with a cold face, while constantly urging them.
"Professor, aren't we having class indoors today?" Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff student who was also very familiar with Andre, approached and asked with a smile. He was also very much looking forward to the game that the new students had mentioned.
"Who told you you were having class indoors?" Andre rolled his eyes at Cedric. "It's not like every grade's course is exactly the same. You're already in third year, do you still want to play house like the new students?"
Choked by Andre's words, everyone's mood suddenly cooled down.
Damn, it looks like we were happy for nothing all night, George and Fred exchanged wry smiles.
Scanning the people present, and confirming that all the third-year students had arrived, Andre waved his hand neatly. "Go, follow me to the shooting range!"
After saying that, Andre led the way, taking everyone a few steps and entering a semi-open-air room that was also very close to the ring of stones.
The area inside was very large. The first thing that came into view was a row of half-height cubicles serving as shooting areas. Looking around, there were at least 30 cubicles that could serve as shooting positions.
Opposite these cubicles was a shooting target area filled with sand and gravel. At the same time, simple circular targets floated at distances of 10 meters, 30 meters, and 50 meters from each shooting position.
After everyone entered the shooting range, Andre turned around and looked at everyone seriously. "Today's first class is basic tactical offense and defense, mainly targeting shooting training and parrying against fixed targets."
"Shooting? Parrying?"
The people on the scene immediately lit up when they heard this. They were still a little depressed because they didn't have a chance to deal with Hogg, but it turned out that Andre seemed to be preparing to put everyone into practice as soon as they arrived? This sounded like it could be fun as well.
After all, at Hogwarts, after everyone learned the spells, they usually didn't use them much except during class, especially those self-defense spells. Randomly casting them would result in points being deducted if they were seen!
At this time, Andre raised the clipboard in his hand and glanced at it. "Judging from the physical examination results, you third-year students have already learned the 'Knockback Jinx' and 'Disarming Charm' in Defense Against the Dark Arts class. The lowest level is one, right?"
"Yes, Professor," Lee Jordan, standing in the front row, nodded. "But we usually don't have many opportunities to use these self-defense spells, so they're a bit rusty now."
"Then you'll have to pick them up again today." Raising his head and looking around at everyone, "Next, I want to see your actual spellcasting level."
After saying that, Andre pointed to one of the twins, and then pointed to a target in the shooting range that was ten meters away from everyone. "George, cast a Disarming Charm, aim at that target."
"Professor, I'm Fred, he's George!" The twins grinned and pointed to their noses, then pointed to their brother next to them.
"Is that so?" Andre glared at him coldly. "Then you'll be called George today, are there any other questions?"
"No... no." George smiled awkwardly, then gave his brother a strange look, as if saying, why can Andre always accurately identify them?
