'I have to start getting acclimated to all these newfangled occurences now.' Shini sighed.

After finishing eating, a soft knock followed by Minamoto Ai entering in with a white bathrobe with coquelicot flowers on it.

' Your bath is ready Madam', She beamed at Shini.

After what seemed like a millennium of a bath, Shini got out of the black granite bath tub and looked at her new self in the mirror.

' Not Bad Itsumi', smirking at the reflection looking back at her.

Grabbing a fluffy white cotton terry cloth bathrobe from the handle , she draped it and hugged onto herself, sinking into the soft texture and taking a whiff of the corn-poppy scented robe.

She suddenly heard a faint automated sound coming from behind the bathroom door. Shini cautiously opened the door to a hovering metal rod in front of her eyes, from which were hanging were five beautiful formal gowns.

An elegant emerald green off shoulder gown with a fitted bodice, a graceful mauve mermaid gown with glittering rhinestones on the waist, a distinguished pink peacock with a printed silk couture, a simple yet defining and refined beige embroidered evening gown and finally the gown that caught Shini's twinkling eyes was a luxurious bright scarlet gown in net with an off shoulder neckline and intricate thread works on the bottom of the silky fabric.

She ran her hands through all the artistic gowns and decided on the scarlet gown. As she took off the hanger, the metal rod hovered back in the direction of the darker cream colored door, which opened by its own as on impulse.

Shini walked over to the dressing table as she placed the gleaming scarlet gown to her ċhėst and smiled softly. Suddenly the telephone near the bed started ringing as Shini ran to answer it. It was Minamoto Ai, asking to call if Shini had chosen the gown to wear for the evening.

As soon as Shini replied with a yes, someone started knocking on the maroon door.

'That would be Mrs Lan to take you to the beauty salon for your hair and facial Ma'am', stated Ai on the call.

'Mrs Lan from Itsumi's childhood household? Oh no I needed more time to read the diary for this', Shini mumbled to herself as she picked up and tried flipping the pages of the diary in a hurry to try and find the information about Mrs Lan that she had previously skipped off.

'Ma'am are you there? Mrs Lan is waiting for you', Ai added.

'Yes Ai, thank you for your help', Shini squeaked And disconnected the call as she started panicking and hasted through the diary.

'Itsumi, may I come in sweetheart?', Mrs Lan asked as she knocked on the door again.

'Oh yes, Sorry Mrs Lan I'm just in my towel right now, Just trying to get changed,' Shini panted as she shoved the diary underneath the bed.

'Mrs Lan? Haha someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, this is the first time in years since you called me that', Mrs Lan joked from the other side.

'Ah Sorry just a bit woozy headed right now Obasan, I will be right out with a pair of shorts and a shirt', Shini piped in.

'There's the Dai Dai I know, always so casual. I will be waiting for you in the car upstairs Itsumi', bubbled Mrs Lan as her footsteps faded off.

'That was close, Now I need to stay completely silent in the car. And did she say shes waiting for me upstairs?'

As Shini walked out the room, Minamoto Ai took her up stairs to the roof where a bunch of magnificent automobiles with a blurred matt touch on them, were parked in a small garage. There was a sleek lane through the sky where Shini could see hundreds of other cars zooming past them. She gawked as cars just zipped through the lanes in a perfect alignment.

Mrs Lan Was standing near one of the cars as she waved Shini over.

'Itsumi! Over here!," she called out to Shini, waving her hands widely and beaming at her. She wrapped Shini in her arms and started swinging from side to side.

'Oh my Dai Dai, I miss you so very much, It's only been a month since I last saw you and you seem so different already. You've gotten so mȧturė my little girl', Mrs Lan bubbled as she held on Shini tightly.

'This feeling, Her love is so warm. It reminds me of them.....', Shini whimpered in her thoughts as she recollected her thoughts of her past true self. She hugged back Mrs Lan as she held back her sobs and tried to keep a calm and composed mind

'You really do need a full spa treatment my child, look at those eyebags Itsumi', remarked Mrs Lan as she held up Shini's face and twisted her face from side to side.

'Lack of sleep that's all. Shall we get going?', nodded Shini while she tried changing the topic.

'Ah yes yes, lets unlock the car then eh Itsumi?', Mrs Lan indicated as she pointed to the car next to her.

'Oh I forgot the key, let me just signal Ai to receive it for me', Shini aluded just to shunned off from Mrs Lan bellowing laughter.

'You really need more sleep Dai Dai. KEY HAHAHA A KEY, god you crack me up so much Itsumi. You are the "key". Just touch the techno pad, I'm sure this car has your fingerprints already scanned through.', Mrs Lan jested at Shini as she leaned on the car with her hand on her upper stomach while she kept chuckling.

Shini gawked at the car as touched what seemed to be a glistening holo number pad on the door. As soon as she touched the pad, the cars doors swung open and the blur on the car transitioned into a a clear view, taking Shini aback in surprise.

'Eek! I would have almost gotten hurt, what is this new technology, Itsumi didn't seem to mention anything about the current lifestyle in that diary of hers', Shini scowled looking at the translucent open door.

'Get in Dai Dai, lets give you a nice soothing spa day, because you have a long day ahead'
