After careful consideration, Bai Ruan calmly replied, “I think it is appropriate.”

Lang Jing Feng was annoyed and amused at the same time. With a serious tone, Bai Ruan looked down at the ground and continued, “You still have to do your homework when you go back. Lang Jing Feng nodded and walked back. Bai Ruan was like a rabbit and jumped to the fourth row.

Lang Jing Feng’s expression suddenly became full of anticipation.

As soon as Bai Ruan sat firmly in the middle of the fourth row, Lang Jing Feng squeezed in, chasing after him with a gloomy expression. He whispered, “Teacher Bai, did you deliberately choose this seat?”

Bai Ruan dropped his line of sight and did not dare to look at him. After a moment of silence, he replied, “…Yes.”

Shen Jia Han was a learning committee member and the Math representative in Bai Ruan’s class. She was attractive, had a quiet personality, and was an artistically talented student. She had a level ten piano certificate 5and was a student with high achievements; her grades were stable in the top three of the class. Thus, Bai Ruan had great expectations for her.

In the infirmary, Shen Jia Han was lying on the infirmary bed, her face pale as paper, and a few girls who were close to her gathered around the bed. At the door, Lang Jing Feng leaned against the door frame and stood with his arms crossed, his heroic eyebrows slightly twisted. Seeing Bai Ruan approaching, Lang Jing Feng’s expression immediately relaxed, the corner of his lips curled up, and he greeted, “Teacher Bai.”

Chen Ran, who’d followed him, immediately added, “Lang Jing Feng carried her here.”

As the school doctor was talking, the wails of the ambulance sirens came from outside.

The ambulance staff first performed a preliminary vital signs examination for Shen Jia Han. Bai Ruan used this time to call her father to inform him of the situation.
