One of the hooligans spread his hand out toward Zhou Hao Chen and grinned widely, showing white teeth on his ugly face. “Take it out.”

Zhou Hao Chen timidly handed over his wallet. His shoulders trembled as if he were weeping.

The wind carried several wisps of evil aura blowing over from the other side of the alley. Bai Ruan’s small nose twitched restlessly, trying to distinguish the original forms of these five hooligans.

The sound waves dissipated in the air like ripples. The farther it was, the weaker it would be. When it was on the verge of disappearing, the sound waves that were so small that the human ear could not catch it drifted into the ears of a keen wolf.

Lang Jing Feng, who was walking home, moved his ears slightly as his eyes turned. He turned straight toward the direction of the sound, a pair of wolf eyes shining almost creepily under the night.

There was no hesitation. Lang Jing Feng suddenly spread his two long legs, flew across the street and over a wall like wind. He approached the source of the sound with the shortest route. Although his speed was fast, there was almost no sound. It was just like a male wolf rushing to track its prey in the dark wilderness.

On the other side, the gangsters in the alley finally realised that they had been fooled by Bai Ruan’s acting skills, and yelled to catch up, “Fuck! You trash! You were pretending just now!?”

Zhou Hao Chen, who was not physically strong and was dragged forward by Bai Ruan, panted hard. “Teacher Bai…huhu…you can’t fight?”

Zhou Hao Chen gritted his teeth and ran to the main road outside the alley. Seeing that he had escaped smoothly, Bai Ruan hurriedly covered his head with his arms, secretly using his demonic energy to cast a protection spell around himself to take less damage in preparation for the assault. Before Bai Ruan’s demonic energy was exhausted, those little demons wouldn’t be able to touch him.

The back of his head collided with the wall, causing the gangster to slide down like softened noodles.

One metre away, Bai Ruan was irritated by the skyrocketing wolf demon spirit. His legs softened and his face paled. Along with the gangster, he slid against the wall and sat on the ground.

“Don’t be afraid,” Lang Jing Feng glanced at Bai Ruan and even whispered to comfort him during his busy act, then turned his hand back to flip another one of the hoodlums.
