There was a headless woman that was right in front of me. I threw my hand out, and to my surprise when I hit her I felt resistance and then there was nothing, it was like her presence had vanished. She began to split apart in front of my eyes.

My hands were washed in a bright blue and white, that made my hand appear translucent.

A soundless death awaited her. I looked around to see if she would re-appear but she never did; did that mean that she was gone now. The other spirts in the room, appeared to be afraid now. They all flew away from me, no longer hanging on my body or anywhere near me.

[Headless Spirit Excorised]

The notification appeared in front of my face.

Well, that was helpful, it looked like this would allow me to kill the ghost. That bitch was going to die. Bringing my wrist towards my face, I tap the bracelet.

With a flash of lights, a map appears from the bracelet. It's a 3D schematic of the area. A little wedge appeared above the place that I was in, the hospital area. Although it didn't read hospital as it had earlier, before I had run into the lady, instead its called 'The Hag's Territory.' Wait, was this a game?

Had I possibly run into an area that was apart of a game. Why hadn't I gotten a notification from the game if this was apart of a game?

That wasn't right! Shaking my head, I try to remember all the events that had led up to me meeting that lady. I had been looking at my skill menu, what if the notification for this game wasn't an audio like the one that I had first entered, but rather it was a notification that I hadn't seen because I was in my skill menu.

Sucking in a breath, a chill runs up my spine, I was too careless. This wasn't some walk in the park, I should always be aware of what was happening around me. Let's assume that I had wandered into another game area, maybe this was a different mode from the other one.

If that was the case that means that the other woman could have possibly been a player. Though, if she was a player then why hadn't seen tried to escape. She instead warned me to run, that couldn't be a coincidence, right?

Maybe there was more than just this, I was missing something here. I'd seen zombies, but now there were also ghost. That means that there is a high possibility that this was like an open world area.

Being an open world, there was a possibility that there was a way out of this area wasn't there? But I hadn't seen a definite exit since I'd come into this area. It's like I was in a maze.

That was a possibility if this area was a maze that means that there was an exit but I just had to find it. I still had to kill the Hag, or else Jade's life would be forfeited.

Well, I had no other option than to catch this Hag and save Jade. Maybe, I'd be able to escape this place once I killed the Hag as well.

Grabbing the bag, I flipped the lip of it open, reaching forwards I slip the spear into the bag as well. The weapon was too long to fight with, it didn't do me any good either because I wouldn't be able to keep her at bay.

After a second, I pulled out the sword that I had used against the clown and pulled out some knives. I'd be better off switching to close combat weapons, I was still a little shocked that I knew what to do in this situation.

I felt like this was second nature, that somehow I knew what to do and expect. It looks like my past was not something that was savory, I might have killed people before even joining this game. Was that why I had been chosen?

Because I was a killer at heart...

The answers, I need answers that I was looking for, but to get them I had to find people. I also needed to find Devil, he was the one that invited me to this fucked up game. Maybe he would have some answers about who I was as well.

Steeling myself, I head for the door. I had to escape this place and get to the town that Jade had been talking about.
