"Let's go get in line Alice," Haru says walking forward. There are about twenty people that are in front of us. Well people, might not be the best way to describe everyone in the line. I spotted humans, an elf, a couple dwarfs and then all manner of creatures.

One looked a lot like a monkey, except he had very human structure, another woman had the upper body of a woman but the lower body of a mantis. Then I saw a man that was so round, every time he breathed his whole body would shake. It was like he was made completely out of jello.

Then I caught sight of a girl that looked no older than ten. She was playing with a knife as she waited in line, her round child-like cheeks looked so soft. It looks like any manner of person or creature could be eligible to play this horrible game.

We moved quickly through the line until it was our turn to walk towards the table that had been set up before the shiny metallic black gate.

At the table that was set up to examine people that wanted to enter, two women with angel wings stood to the side of another woman that was sitting at the table. She wore glasses and had a pointy witches hat atop her head, the rest of her body was covered in a detailed purple robe.

Her skin was a dark ebony, she had a timid expression on her face. A few things were spread across the table, a stone, a book, and a scale rested on the wooden table in front of her. The woman with the angel wings had war helms on and had large battle axes. A stern expression rest on their faces, golden hair streamed out of the helms.

Haru walked forward with a small smile on his face and I quickly followed behind him, Callista walked soundlessly by my side. We arrived in front of the woman with the witches hat and timid expression.

"Welcome to the Town of Osiris, is this your first time to the town?" The woman with the witches hat asked us softly. I looked at her closely, but no wedge appeared above her head. Turning my attention back to the warlike angel's a wedge appeared reading [Warborn Valkyrie] it looked like these two were actually monster, or maybe they were NPC.

"I've been here one time before," a card quickly appeared in his hand as he spoke, he gave it to the witch. She lightly plucked it from his fingers and flipped open her book, before she slides the car onto an empty page.

With a slight glow, the page illuminated after a few second the glow dimmed, and she easily removed the card and handed it back to Haru.

"What about you?" She turns her attention towards me, I finally got a look at her eyes that were covered by the glasses, her eyes were the color of blood and a few lights flashed in her eyes. I averted my eyes quickly.

"This is my first time here," I replied.

"Very well, please give me your hand," she says holding a hand out. I step forward and give her my hand, shooting a curious glance at Haru. But he just gives me a smile.

Shaking my head I turn my attention back to the woman that was holding my hand, she drew a knife out from somewhere and brought it to my hand. "There will be a light pinch," she spoke as she drew the knife across my hand.

I didn't flinch, I didn't sense an ouch of killing intent from her. After the blade passed through my skin cutting it open, she reached for the scale and turned my hand over, letting the blood pour into one side of the scale.

After the side had filled up a little, she turned my hand back over and rubbed her hand across the cut effectively sealing up the cut. She released my hand and turned her attention back to the scale.

With a light tap she touches the center of the scale, and the blood that was on one side, started to bubble and evaporates, on the other side of the scale, a card was starting to form. As the weight began to transfer and the blood was used up a card had completely formed.

"Here we are, this is your identification card for this town. Please make sure to take good care of this, when you choose to enter or leave the town make sure to show this card to an attendant." She reached out and grabbed my card, and repeated the same process in the book, before holding it out for me to take.

I held the black card in my hand, it felt warm in my hand. In the upper right corner of the card, I noticed a white symbol of a crown and then words in a language I didn't understand were underneath of it.

"Please head on in," she waved us forward easily.

Haru didn't waste any time and headed towards the shinning black gate. I cast one last glance at the witch before I follow behind him.

"What was that all about?" I ask.

"That it's just a blood card, its a sort of identification, towns like to keep track of all who entered into their towns. Because towns are run by other Players actually. Some towns aren't and those are unoccupied towns, they happen for different reasons and what not." He shrugged as we walked through the gate leading into the town.

"Was it own by the woman that was checking us in?" She had to be someone to have those two monster protecting her.

"Her, she was just the gatekeeper, she just works for the player that owns the town. There are benefits to doing that, but I wouldn't suggest trying to work for just anyone." He gave me a wink as we entered.
