Miss Ordinary: I Was Reborn To Love You!

"D," Bella Lim called.

D saw her and a warm smile decorated his face. He increased his pace and walked towards Bella Lim.

"Bell, long time no see," D's wheezy voice was followed by a hug.

"How are you?" he asked with a concerned look on his face. 

D was Bella Lim's high school classmate and best friend. They rarely meet but often in contact. He was the one that invited Bella Lim to stay at country Azure after finding out about her situation at Kastache, a sprawling country, known for its nightlife.

"I'm good, thanks to you," Bella Lim chuckled. Her eyes began to wet for memories of the past started to emerge in her mind.

"Girl, you better not cry. You have a dinner to attend to," D quickly pacify the emotional atmosphere as he glared at Bella Lim, warning her not to carry on with the mushy act.

The other scowled as she wiped the tears that never dropped.

"Is it possible to prep me in 20 minutes. I'm chasing bullet," Bella Lim stared at D who soon frowning at her request.

"Well, if you don't mind me torturing you," the man replied and laughed when he saw the consecutive winks from Bella, granting him permission to do as he like.

"Alright," D grinned as he pushed her to a changing room. Then, he instructed her to change into the dresses he had prepared.

That was the beginning of the torture.

Bella Lim followed everything that D had planned for her including listening to his endless complained about her skin and hair.

"Bell, why is your skin so dry!?"

"Why is your hair like this?! Omg, the split end is beyond horrible!"

"Girl please learn basic grooming. The bushes of your eyebrows need a fence!"

"Gosh, you gave me a scare," D heaved a sigh as he led Bella in front of a mirror.

"Tadaaaa...how is it? Satisfied?" he asked with a smug on his face. His expression basically said 'praise me!'

Bella Lim looked at her reflection and was surprised to see her transformation. Her lips parted in astonishment.

She leaned closer so that she could see the details of her make-up. The first thing she noticed was her neat eyebrow. It was no longer 'bushy' as mentioned by D earlier. Her long hair which usually a mess was still 'messy' but proper and shining beautifully. 

Still, the thing that surprised her the most was her body proportion. She knew she was petite, however, she wasn't aware of how alluring she looked after dolling up.

"Bell, you could be prettier you know. Just pay attention to your nutrition. You're too skinny. Thank God you're given quite a body. Your bust, as well as your booty, really accentuate that thin waist you have,"

"T-thank you," Bella Lim looked at D bashfully.

D was really the type of friend that would speak anything in his mind. She hoped he toned it down a little. To hear someone discussed her body openly was totally beyond what she could contain.

"You're welcome but you really need to practice good skincare routine after this. I'll send you some samples that you can try, and please take good care of your hair. That's your crown!" 

"Now go and have a blast at the party. Break a leg!" 

Bella Lim smiled helplessly after listening to D's advises. However, she still took notes on D's quick lesson on skincare and grooming. Besides, after being reborn, she realized that she needed to take care of herself before she could really take care of others. 

"I'm going. Thank you again," she said before walking out of the boutique. She removed the heels she was wearing and put it inside the small compartment space on the bike. To ride a bike, she needed comfortable footwear, therefore, she wore her sneaker. Next, she carefully lifted her dress and hopped on the bike.

Bella Lim had purposely chosen the dress with a peekaboo slit so that she could ride on her bike. She recalled that when she chose the dress, D was rejoicing as he said that this dress was perfect on her and made her looked like a 'dangerous' woman. She wondered over the meaning of what he said.

Nope. She had no clue what he was talking about.

"Huh! Alright, time is of the essence," Bella Lim breathed out strongly before she put on her jacket as well as the helmet. She was geared up and ready to conquer the road!

Thirty minutes later, she was relieved to see the entrance to Gun Raymond's estate only to be shocked at the long-winded road that leads to the main house.

While at the boutique, Jordan Lee had sent the map of Gun Raymond's estate which indicated that the dinner would take place at the main house. The map was simple and uncomplicated. She really thought it would be easy to go to the venue once she entered the area. Alas, she had to swallow her words back. 

Rich people really love to create trouble for themselves!

Bella Lim braked when a security guard signaled her to stop.

"Miss, what business do you have here?" the security guard was looking at her suspiciously.

"Sir, I am attending a dinner party at the main house," she explained after lifting the visor of her helmet, revealing only her eyes and lips.

"Do you have the QR code?" the security asked. 

"Yes," Bella Lim gave her phone with the QR code on the screen. It was sent by Jordan Lim earlier together with the map. 

The security guard scanned the QR code on a scanner and when he confirmed the validity of the QR code, his suspicious look disappeared from his face.

"You may enter," the security guard said. Bella Lim took her phone as she rode on her bike again towards the main house where the dinner was taking place.

Halfway towards the main house, suddenly, a warning sign flashed on the screen in front of her. Then, the motorbike started to jerk before it completely stopped.

Bella Lim was cursing internally when she realized the main issue.

Her motorbike ran out of gas!

"Really? I just fill you up!" She hopped down and kicked on the brake pedal. Then, she removed her helmet and shook her head to let her hair fell into place. 

Bella Lim crouched down as she could smell gasoline in the air. That was when she discovered that her motorbike was leaking oil! 

"Seriously?" her gaze narrowed as she stomped her right feet angrily on the ground.

She didn't realize that a black car was slowing down and finally stopped behind her.
