Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"I know you are bored and in need of something to break your boredom but I advise that you stop putting your hands under stress. Stay here and recuperate. I am gonna so much spank you if your wound gets worst than it already is," Jasmine said beaming at him before she left the mansion.

The moment Jasmine reached outside where her car was parked, her cellphone rang. She did not answer the call immediately. She only picks up the line after entering the car and strapping her seatbelt.

"Hello mum, why are you still awake now? Don't tell me you couldn't fall asleep again because you have a lot on your mind?" Jasmine asked in a worried tone not igniting her car. She did not know that the sad Jackson was waiting to hear the sound of her car drive away.

"How could I fall asleep when you ignored all my calls? Do you want to kill me with anxiety?" Mrs Avan sitting beside her husband on the white couch complained bitterly.

"How could I possibly want my beloved mum dead? You might not know but my wish is that you should live for 200 years and still maintaining that cute beautiful look of yours," Jasmine said playfully. Her mum at the other end chuckled when she heard Jasmine's flattering words. She failed to realise that this was her daughter's trick to divert her attention to the reason she called her.

"You and that sweet mouth of yours are gonna be the death of me one day," Mrs Avans said maintaining her smiling face. Her smile slowly disappeared when her eyes landed on her husband's fierce look.

"Jasmine, do you know that your father is angry with you because of the last incident? You did not only make him look bad in front of his future in-laws but also ruined the image of our family...,"

"Mum, I have already told dad that I don't want to get married but he still forced me into it so he should bear with my attitude...,"

"Jasmine, how could you say that?" Mrs Avans asked in a reprimanding tone.

"Mum, but that is the truth. There is no time Father has ever asked us what we wanted but instead, he has always been the one to tell us what he wants from us. He has always forced his will on us, he doesn't care whether his decision makes us sad. Mum, we have always been the one to listen to father's wishes, when is it gonna be his turn to listen to us?" Jasmine asked in a serious tone.

"Jasmine you know that every decision your father made was always for the good of you and your sister. Whatever decision he made in past or he will make in the future is because he wants the best for you," Mrs Avans explained in a calm tone.

"Has he ever sat down to think whether what he thinks is the best for us is really the best? Mum, I know that father is your husband and that the wife should always support her husband but you are also our mother or are you not?" Jasmine asked seriously.

"You should also try to take our side sometimes even though it is not all the time...,"

"Jasmine, are you saying all this because of your marriage to Young Master Allen? Are you saying I should support your dream of staying a spinster forever? Which parent in his/her right mind will want her child to remain single forever?" Mrs Avans asked sternly.

"What is wrong with being single...,"

"Jasmine, say all you have in mind when you come back home on Saturday to receive your punishment. Stop agitating your mother with all your nonsense," Jasmine heard her father's cold voice at the other end of the phone.

"Father, I am busy, I won't be able to make it," Jasmine said in an unwavering tone.

"You are busy?" Mr Avans scoffed.

"Should I invite Catherine or your three new friends over...,"

"Father!" Jasmine shouted. She ran her fingers through her well-styled

hair. It was exactly the time she messed her hair up that the worried Jackson peeped through the transparent glass walls to confirm why he hasn't heard the sound of her car leaving. Jasmine was too furious to see him standing there staring at her.

"Father, this is not fair. You always threatened me using things or people precious to me," Jasmine said angrily.

"Is making your parents grow grey hairs fair? Is making your mum worried about you every single day fair?" Mr Avans asked sternly.

"If you don't want me to always end up threatening you then try being obedient...,"

"Father, are you not afraid that I will tell the whole world that the man they always look up to is a man who doesn't keep his words. I will tell them that you always threatened your daughter....,"

"Let me see you try it," Mr Avans said. His voice carried a hint of threat.

"Jasmine, even though you have to limp to the mansion, I don't care. All I want is to see you in the main mansion on Saturday. I wasn't joking when I said that I will invite those three friends of yours if you don't show up like you normally did," Mr Avans said before he disconnected the call. He knew very well that Jasmine will continue to argue with him if he did not disconnect the call. Jasmine threw the phone violently on the other side of the car. Even though the phone dropped violently on the hard floor of the car she did not care.

"Goddamn it!" Jasmine remarked angrily as she banged the steering. She did not give a damn that her hand might get bruised.

"Why in heaven's name did I have to answer her call? If I had known that I would end up being forced to visit the house I dread the most, I wouldn't have answered mum's call. I would have just sent her a text message instead," Jasmine said angrily as she hit her hand against the steering again.

"Why does she look so furious? I wonder who dared to make my woman angry," Jackson mumbled as he clenched his fist. Despite that his hands were hurting badly he did not lose his clenched fist. It was as if seeing her angry makes angry also.

"Should I call to find out what the problem is?" Jackson thought aloud as he turned to head towards the centre table only to return halfway.

"I don't think that is a great idea. With the look on her face, I am sure she is gonna lash out at me. The best thing to do is to let her calm down," Jackson now back to his former position said as he stares at her.

Jasmine was too angry to drive so she stayed inside the car for a few minutes until she was slightly relaxed. She drove away ten minutes later

"With her current mood, I wish she will remain safe," Jackson mumbled to himself after her car has gone out of sight.

Jasmine on leaving the premises of Jackson's home drove at top speed. Instead of taking the route leading to her place, she took a detour.

After so many minutes of driving, she finally halted in the parking lounge of a tall building. Before she came out of the car, she took her car keys and her handbag. She did not recall that she had thrown her phone away earlier.

A few minutes later she waited in front of a brown door after knocking. After about two minutes, the door opened and Jasmine entered the apartment immediately.

"Jasmine, what happened? Why do you look so upset? Who got you this angry?" Catherine asked in a worried tone after they were both seated.

"It's father," Jasmine remarked in an angry tone. Catherine who was so ready to beat up the person who made her friend angry on hearing that it was her father cooled down a bit.

"What did he say? Is it about your arrange marriage with Kai?" Catherine asked curiously. She was so glad that she wasn't asleep before Jasmine arrived.

"If it was about Kai I wouldn't have been so upset. I mean I am used to hearing him and mum talk about my marriage with the Young Master of the Allen family...,"

"What exactly did your father say to get you this angry?" Catherine asked worriedly.

"He said I should drop by at the main mansion on Saturday? Cat, you know just how much I hate going there," Jasmine said helplessly.

"You can choose not to go there by making yourself busy as you have always done," Catherine suggested not knowing that Jasmine did not have any other choice but to do like her father says.

"I thought of doing that but can you believe that father said he will invite you to the mansion if I refuse to show up?" Jasmine asked to the shock of Catherine.

"What!" Catherine remark in shock.
