Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

This is my revenge for always trying to separate Jasmine and me in the past. Let's see whether you can escape from this.

Jackson thought happily.

"Cat, I know that you don't like Ice Prince but you shouldn't have said such words to him. He has someone else he loves so why would he fall in love with me?" Jasmine scolded Catherine just like Jackson wanted.

"What if you had hurt his feelings....,"

"Jasmine, you only heard one side of the story so why are you scolding me before I even get to explain myself?" Catherine asked as she shot the smiling Jackson a murderous glance.

I can see this is what he wanted when he came up with that lie. Let's see whether he will remain so happy after I finished talking.

Catherine thought smiling inwardly.

"Actually, I saw Jackson and Jane very close to each other earlier. It looked like they were gonna kiss if I had not bumped into them. I said what I did because it seems like their feelings seem to be mutual. I said all I did with your best interest at heart, I didn't want a fight to break out on the trip because of misunderstandings. Don't forget you came on this trip because you wanted to help Alfred and Elizabeth resolve their marriage problem," Catherine's story stunned Jackson. All he could do was stare at Catherine in awe. He was too surprised to defend himself and his reputation.

"What is the big deal there if he had kissed her, we have kissed so many times and yet it didn't ignite a spark," Jasmine said standing up. Although she tried to act nonchalant about the issue, they could both see that she wasn't cool with it like she wanted them to believe.

"Jasmine...,"

"If you don't wanna go on the date anymore you can tell me. I am sure your other woman is waiting for you to cancel the date," Jasmine said as she turned her back on them.

Damn you, Catherine! Have you seen what you have caused?

Jackson thought glaring daggers at Catherine before he stood up and went to stand beside Jasmine.

"Of course we are going on the date," Jackson said ad he attempts to hold her hand but Jasmine walked away towards the exit before he could touch her.

"Can you see what you have done? Don't worry, I will get back at you someday for this," Jackson threatened fiercely before he hurried after her.

Outside the room, Jasmine was lucky enough to run into Alfred and Lizzy.

"Alfred, this book here contains the list of what you both are gonna do. You both must take pictures as evidence for all events. I will never talk to either of you if you try to trick me," Jasmine said seriously as she handed the novel to Alfred. The novel contains a sheet of paper that outlined all they were supposed to do.

"These are the key and card of your hotel room number. Don't forget to have tons of fun and also make some babies," Jasmine said playfully as she handed the things to Alfred.

"Jasmine you don't look that excited about the date, did something happened?" Elizabeth with keen eyes asked curiously. It was at this moment Jackson caught up to them.

"I am fine. Besides what could happen to me?" Jasmine asked not sparing Jackson a glance. She walked away after whispering something into Alfred's ears. Jackson quickly followed her after acknowledging the presence of the couple.

"It looks like they are quarrelling again," Elizabeth muttered staring at their departing back.

"I am sure they are gonna settle their little misunderstanding before today runs out so there is no need to worry about them. We should leave for our date," Alfred said as he offered her his hand. Elizabeth hesitated at first but she later held his hand.

Back in the car, Jackson driving stole a glance at the lady who hasn't uttered a word to him since they left the hotel.

"Jasmine, are you mad at me?" Jackson asked.

"Mad at you, why would I be?" Jasmine asked in a harsh tone.

"Your expression, tone and words say so. You haven't even look at me or utter a word to me since we left the hotel. Are you perhaps angry about what Catherine said? She was only...,"

"There is no need for explanation. You can get close to any woman you like. I am not jealous of her," Jasmine said firmly.

"I never mentioned that you were jealous of her. So, tell me are you jealous that I am close to her?" Jackson asked teasingly.

"Nonsense!" Jasmine remarked as she turned and stare at him.

"Why on earth will I be jealous of that annoying lady? If I feel starved of intimacy I have my fiancee so why should I feel jealous of your relationship with her. Besides, I have kissed you more than three times so what is the fuss if she kisses you once?" Jasmine said sounding upset.

"You don't care if I get close to other women?" Jackson asked not focusing his attention on the road.

"Watch out!" Jasmine shouted as she grabbed the steering and turned it to the right to avoid bumping into the car at the front.

After they had both successfully made the car come to a halt, Jasmine glared at Jackson.

"Ice Prince, what was that earlier? Why were you not focusing your attention on the road...,"

"Because I wanted to have a proper view of your face while answering my question. I wanted to make sure you weren't lying?" Jackson said honestly.

"What is so important about my reply? Is your aim to make me fall in love with you or what? Why are you acting strangely lately? Have you gone to visit your doctor to make sure you are alright?" Jasmine asked seriously while staring into his eyes.

"I don't need to see my doctor because nothing is wrong with me," Jackson said deliberately ignoring her other questions.
