Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"You are quite obedient," Jasmine said in a low tone that only the two of them could hear.

"I am only obedient when it is you. You are the only one in this world who can order me around," Jackson said his eyes glued in her eyes.

"Why are you pretending to be so obedient? Does that mean that you will strip if I ask you to do that?" Jasmine asked.

"Try me and see whether I won't do it but one thing you should know is that you should get ready to take responsibility if you ask me to strip in front of you," Jackson said, his lips curl into a wicked smile.

"You are such a perverted guy.. I advise you to stop flirting with me or I will make you regret it after we are done with the game," Jasmine said in a threatening tone.

"Ok Madam, you can do whatever you want with me after the game, I won't complain. I will let you take liberty with me however you want," Jackson said maintaining his smile.

"Be careful of what you ask for ok?" Jasmine said as she took a deep breath. She had no choice but to stare at Jackson's smiling face.

Jasmine has seen him smile so many times. In fact, he tends to smile a lot when he is with her but this particular smile of his was different. There was something about it that stir her up.

Why is he still smiling like a fool? Won't he stop? Does he even know what his smile is doing to me?

Jasmine thought as her grip on the couch tightened. Her throbbing heart began to beat even faster. The speed at which it beat per second made Jasmine scared. She was scared that she might have suddenly developed heart disease.

Jasmine bite her lower lips thinking that this might make the rate of her heartbeat decrease but alas the throbbing did not stop. Her forehead suddenly became sweaty. Those paying close attention to her could see that something was wrong with her but the problem was that none of them could pinpoint what exactly was amiss.

"What is wrong with Jasmine? Why is she sweating a lot?" Elizabeth muttered but her husband sitting right beside her heard her worried words. He too could notice that Jasmine wasn't her real self but he also did not know what the problem was.

"Jasmine, what is wrong? why are you sweating so much?" Jackson who just realised that she wasn't ok asked in a worried tone.

I can't hold it anymore. I am afraid that my heart might jump out of my chest if I continue staring at him?

Jasmine quickly conceded defeat as she looked away. The moment she avoided his stares, she held her chest with her hands. Jackson misunderstood her action for chest pain.

"What is wrong, are you suffering from a relapse?" Jackson said as he stretched his hand to hold her but Jasmine quickly brushed his hand away.

Seeing this, Elizabeth hurried to her side. Catherine who was about to do the same thing paused.

"Jasmine, you were alright some minutes ago so what is wrong with you? Does your chest hurt?" Elizabeth said as she placed her hand on Jasmine's chest without giving a warning.

Elizabeth raised her gaze and stare at Jasmine when she realised how erratically her heart was beating. Her sister's heart was in chaos, she felt it.

I can see why she didn't let him touch her. She was afraid that he was gonna discover her little secret.

Elizabeth thought as she tried to retract her hand but Jasmine grabbed her right hand.

"Sis, please don't tell anyone about this not even Alfred. Please...," Jasmine whispered into Elizabeth's ears. She pulled away almost immediately so that the others won't find them suspicious.

"Jasmine, what is wrong? What are you whispering into your sister's ears?" Jeff asked while staring at the two ladies who were still holding each other's hands.

"Her chest hurts a little. She told me not to mention it so she won't make everyone worried," Elizabeth lied while staring into Jasmine's eyes.

Why did Lizzy become such an excellent liar? Even I wouldn't have suspected that she was lying if I was them.

Jasmine thought as she forced on a smile. She let go of Lizzy's hand afterwards.

"If that is the case then let me call the doctor to come to examine you...,"

"There is no need to make a fuss about it, I am fine," Jasmine held his hand before he could stand up.

"Jasmine, you don't have to pretend to be fine just to put our minds at ease. If you are in pain then take a rest and let the doctors check up on you," Catherine said in a calm tone.

Why does it look like, I am the only one who knows that Jasmine is not in pain. She is lying because she had discovered her feelings for her Ice Prince. I wonder why they are not as smart as me. She is the reason I came up with this game so how could I not know what is wrong with her?

Evelyn thought as she stare at the lady still holding her chest.

"Cat, I am fine. I don't need to go to bed early. Besides what is the use of going to bed when I won't be able to fall asleep since we didn't play my game," Jasmine tried to use emotional blackmail. This stupid throbbing heart of hers became a blessing instead of a curse. With this, no one will opt out of playing her game.

"Then let's play the game you want us to play so you will have some rest. Staying up late will not do your health any good but instead, it will harm it," Jackson said to the surprise of everyone once again. People like Steve, Jeff, Jane and Evelyn were used to seeing his cold side that is why no matter how many times they have witnessed this, they could not get used to this new side of his.
