Jasmine wanted to say something but on recalling the task she gave Evelyn, she dare not make her displeasure known. She knew she will only end up being teased by everyone if she says a word.

"Sorry, you got dragged into this, Ice Prince," Jasmine said in low tones as she gently stood up and sat on his legs.

"As long as you are happy then I am fine," Jackson said as he gave her his most bewitching smile.

I thought he was smart but he is really a fool. He is a complete fool when it comes to love and he is gonna up suffering in my hands if he is not careful.

"You guys are making my blood pressure rise with your laughter so just leave my room. I don't want to see anyone of you in my room again tonight," Jasmine said immediately standing up from Jackson's legs.

"You are throwing us out?" Jeff asked curiously.

"Would I have wanted to let my enemies stay beside me?" Jasmine asked pretending to be upset.

"If someone had told me that my best friend will one day gang up on me, I wouldn't have believed it...,"

"Stop acting dramatic Jasmine," Catherine said thinking that Jasmine was joking.

"Starting from today, I denounced all of you as my friends and this is because I can see that you all are looking forward to my death," Jasmine said as she went to where Jeff and Catherine were sitting and pull them up from the couch.

"Careful or you are gonna get your IV pin undone," Jackson said as he hurried to her side.

"It's late already so you guys should go back to the hotel. I will keep watch over Jasmine here...,"

"I should be the one staying with her and not you," Catherine said sternly.

"If it was in the past I would have definitely chosen you but not today. I am very upset with you so just follow your lover and leave," Jasmine said as she beckoned them to get going.

"I can see that you both are dying to be alone so I will be kind this once and give you both some privacy but Jack warn your woman not to challenge me next time. You don't need me to tell you how I am right?" Evelyn asked playfully before she dragged Steve along with her.

"Jackson, take good care of my best friend. If you dare as much as to lay a finger on her, I will not hesitate to beat you up until my heart satisfaction," Catherine threatened fiercely before she walked closer and hug Jasmine.

"I know you like him but try not to make it so obvious. And also don't you dare have sex with him. I will tease you for eternity if you have sex with him only to end up delivering his child in nine months," Catherine teased before she pulled away.

"What are you saying? I don't feel that way about him so stop jumping to conclusions," Jasmine quickly denied not daring to stare at Jackson.

"As if I don't know my best friend well but since you say so I will believe you," Catherine waved at her before she and Jeff left remaining only Jasmine and Jackson in the room.

The atmosphere turned awkward after the others had left. Jasmine found her way to her bed, keeping the IV stick close to her side.

"What do you wanna do now? Do you wanna shower first before you go to bed or are you gonna sleep like that?" Jackson asked in an awkward tone.

"I always take my bath before I go to sleep and today won't be any different," Jasmine said as she climbed down from the bed.

"Ok, let me get you all you will need," Jackson said as he made to approached the wardrobe where her clothes were stocked.

"You have done enough already for me. You don't have to bother about me anymore," Jasmine replied as she approach where he stood.

"Taking care of you has never been a bother. I do it because I love it so stop...,"

"Stop treating me so nicely Ice Prince because I am not as good as you think. I am a very bad woman and I am certain you must have heard this from your fellow men," Jasmine said seriously as she went over to the wardrobe, take a towel before she hurried into the bathroom.

Jackson went and stood by the door when he realised that she was avoiding him.

"I love you for who you are and no matter what anyone says it will never change the fact that I love you very much so stop trying to push me away," Jackson said loud enough for Jasmine to hear.
