Chapter 2299: Fabled

"It survived!"

The Viperman shouted out in its raspy voice; as all the energy covering me went inside me while I was still breathing. Not only that, my injuries are healing rapidly, and I am able to move my body part ever so slightly.

Hearing its panic shout, I slowly move my head toward it. I am still very much injured, but I wanted to look at this bastard and see its expression with my eyes.

It took me a couple of seconds, but I finally did and saw its shocked, panicked face. It is not the only one who is shocked, the Cheetaman and Diamond Crockman, especially the Diamond Crockman who had stopped attacking me.

"I could feel our energies are still inside it. If we continue attacking it, we might be able to exhaust whatever energies he has inside it!" Shouted Cheetman suddenly, bringing other Grimms out of their shock.

"Let's kill this bastard!" Diamond Crockman shouted out loud and raised its hammer to attack.

It seemed to pour all its rage and power into this attack as this attack is quite powerful; not only it, the Viperman and the Cheetaman had also launched the attack, respectively, not wanting to give me any chance to recover further.

BANG CLANG BAMM!

All sorts of attacks hit me directly, but this time, there was barely any fear in my heart. I have fixed the hole in my defense; as long as these attacks do not reach the power of their most powerful attacks, they would not be able to breach through my armor.

Diamond Energy had nearly finished swallowing all the foreign energy, and now nearly all of it is focused on replenishing my essence and healing my injuries.

I have also changed my plan about the Grimms a little; earlier, I was planned to take two of them with me, and they would have died with when I died, but now, the chances of me dying had lessened quite a lot, and I have changed the strategy in dealing with them.

They are still going to die but not in the way I have first planned it to be.

A few more seconds passed, and all the foreign energy vanished from inside me; now, 95% of diamond energy is focused on me while 5% is still focused on healing the injuries that I am suffering.

While these attacks of Grimms are not powerful as their most powerful attack, they are still powerful and injured me when they struck me, but these injuries would heal very second by the diamond energy.

Two minutes and fifty-seven seconds have passed, and all the diamond energy pass digested by me, and the advancement it had given me was even more than what a Bloodline of the Grandmaster had ever given me, and this time, it was all mine.

It only went to me and my core which is part of me; it had not gone to the hidden or the mysterious tree; everything had come to me.

"Well, you guys, hand your chances; it is my time now," I said slowly, which made all the three Grimms stop on their tracks while I straightened myself from the awkwardly sprawled position while my bones made the crackling sounds.

Finally, I got up and looked at all three Grimm Grandmasters with a smile. "Thank you, guys; if not for you, I would not have been able to make such great advancement," I said as I cracked my neck.

"He! It seemed like little advancements have made you quite confident; we still have quite a few cards we haven't used yet, you know?" The Viperman said, not sounding too much worried about my recovery.

"Oh, I know you have; unfortunately, you are not going to get any chances to use them," I replied with a smile.

It seemed to understand the meaning behind my words, and its expressions changed, and I could see extremly thick soul energy coming out of it and begin wrapping around it, but before it could cover even half of its body, the Viperman just disappeared.

It is not just Viperman who had disappeared but also Diamond Crockman; as they did, I felt immense pressure in my core.

I have spent whole months charging the feather and even got the advancement of Diamond Seal, which strengthened my core, but despite that, my core is under immense pressure as two mid-Grandmaster appeared in it.

I am taking a huge risk, but I have no other choice; I could not let them bring out their other cards as I have a feeling they have something that sends me back to my previous condition; so I took this huge calculated risk.

"FUCK! Bastard, you have forced me!"

The Cheetaman shouted, and I saw the crown on its lighting before an up came down from the spatial field entered its crown, and the spatial field disappeared with the crown on its head shining like a blazing sun.

I had taken a half step to finish it off when I stopped; I am feeling extreme danger from this crown, and I can feel if I got too close to it, I would regret it.

ZAP!

"Human, you have left me with no choice but to sacrifice this artifact to kill you. This time, you will die, and nothing will be able to save you," It had said through the blinding glow before that glow concentrated on its hammer and beam released from it.

A horror couldn't help but appear in my mind seeing the beam; there is no way I could defend against this beam. Even Rai would feel a pinch if something like it attacked him; this is a spatial attack, it will directly break me apart without leaving a single proof.

Conventional defense is useless against it, and I am not fast enough to dodge. So, I used the only option I had; I summoned as much Rule bending power I could and activated the experimental formation I had created in my armor.

It is one of the formations I had created when I was researching ways for my strings to pass through the spatial fields around the Grimms.

This formation was made to deal with a weak spatial wave, not concentrated spatial beams. Not to mention, it is not tested, as I had only 70% confidence in its working. So, there is a 90% chance I will die; at least death will be instant, there will be no pain.

Drop!

These were my thoughts when the beam hit me, and I heard a water drop sound which I think was totally imagined by me as the spatial beam touched me.

The spatial beam deconstructed the part of my body that it had touched, and I thought it was game over for me when I saw the deconstructed part begin to reconstruct; even at this deathly moment, it couldn't help but shock me to death.

I have never seen anything like it and did not think the formation worked like it, but my eyes couldn't help but go wide as I saw the fabled spatial deconstruction and reconstruction, which I have read in so many books but the first time saw it.

It is a BIG thing nobody, even Grand Lords, could do and hope to survive; this is something beyond the reach of Tyrant, even of those of Primary stage.
