The formation lit up, and energies entered my body. The energies are hot and painful, but not enough for me to scream.

I am in the tub filled with thick violet streaming solution. It is the last practice. After I am done with it, I will be ready for the breakthrough.

I stayed unmoving as the solution got hotter and hotter, till it became so painful that I had to grit my teeth to stop screaming. It made me feel like I should have gone with a less painful method.

It was effective as this one but require more resources. I did not have enough money to buy those resources.

So, I stuck with this painful one.

Little more than half an hour passed when the pain had finally lessened, but it is another fifteen minutes for me to get out of the pool. When I did, my skin was red like a cooked chicken.

I immediately went for the shower, before coming out and sitting on the balcony.

I am now completely ready to make a breakthrough, but I don't have the resources for it. I will be leaving after dinner.

A few minutes passed, and I was about to leave to cook dinner. When the door opened to the balcony of the opposite house opened and a very beautiful woman walked in.

She is one of the most beautiful women; I have seen since coming to this world.

At first glance, she looked like a human in her mid-twenties, but she was not. She had ocean-blue hair and eyes that glitter in a multicolor. She also had crystalline wavy lines covering her body, which twinkle like her eyes.

I only look at her for a second before looking away. She is barely wearing anything and what she is wearing is completely see-through.

"Hey, neighbor," she said a second later, and I had turned to her. Focusing nothing but her face, which is smiling in mirth.

"Hello," I replied.

"You must be new?" she asked. "Yes, I had rented this place just two days ago," I said, to which she smiled, and her smile is beautiful.

"Good. The person before you were a total creep," she said with her eyes flashing in anger. "I am sure you had no problem in handling him," I said, and mirth appeared in her eyes.

"Her," she corrected. "My apologies," I replied. To which she smiled again.

"What were you doing?" She asked. "I was about to cook a dinner for myself," I replied before I could stop myself, and her eyes glittered again.

"You can cook?" she asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"You seemed quite proud of that," she said, arching her brown. "I know enough," I said, and her eyes glittered again."Well, then I will definitely have to try it," she said and jumped out off the balcony.

I wanted to stop her, inviting strangers is not a good thing, but I felt myself stopping.

She seemed fun, and I am feeling a little lonely.

Soon, she appeared by my door and opened it. "Please come in," I said, not letting my eyes move around her body.

She is truly beautiful a woman.

"Thank you," she said and entered inside, and sat down on a chair like she owned the place. Which should have made me angry, but I found the altitude comforting.

"So, do you have any preference for eating?" I asked her. As many races have preferences, what might be normal food for us could be inedible for them.

"As long as you do not feed me rocks. I would be fine." She said relaxedly. "Don't worry, I don't the rocks either," I said and walked toward the kitchen and took out the things.

I looked at them for a moment, before I started cooking.

She watched from the distance for a minute, before the smile on her face turned serious, and appeared beside the kitchen counter and begin watching me intently.

I did not stop her.

"So, how long have been here? If you don't mind me asking," I asked. "About a year, but most of the time, I had been out of the city," she replied.

"You seemed to have been new to the city," she said, to which I nodded. "Yes, I had arrived here a week ago," I replied while cooking.

I am not solely focused on cooking; I am also focused on her. She is quite a woman, guarding her aura in such a way that I had seen very few people do.

It took me a while, took me a while to know that she is in Primary III. I don't even know what level she is at, but I could tell she is not Initial level. She is either at Mid-level or above.

A little more than an hour later, I am finished.

"Let me. It is the least I could do," she said and helped me set the table.

"So, what is your name. I like to know the name of my guest before I eat with them," I said, and she smiled, with her eyes twinkling. "Yes, the introduction is necessary," she said.

"I am Kara," she introduced herself. "I am Michael," I replied.

"Well Michael, what you cook seemed to be the most delicious meal I had ever eaten," she said. "Then, I shouldn't make you wait any further," I said and raised the glass of seryn wine.

It is one of the wines I had brought, which still tasted good here. It is likely due to the doras crystals; I had let it absorb.

Clink!

Our glasses clinked, and we took a sip of wine. The moment she did, her eyes wines twinkled.

"You have a good wine too," she said as gulped down the sip, before turning to a meal in front of her.

"Mmmmm" a sound came out of her lips. She did not say another, and took a bite of another dish, making the same sound again.

I did not say anything. Those sounds from her mouth is the greatest praise I could receive.
