Monster Integration



I stopped breathing and just waited by the Flame Werewolves' abode door; from what I could see, the Grimm would take a few more minutes to come out. 

I had improved my method enough, that I have the confidence to stand closer to it.

Well, who asked this bastard to find a hidden place like this? It is not hidden well and the energies roaming around it, are helping me hide well.

The energies are dangerous, but they are also helpful in their own way.

I am standing with every bit of my aura isolated. It is quite dangerous, seeing how close I am to Grimm, and wouldn't have dared to do it. If the energies around hadn't been so thick.

Its soul sense is moving around the abode, but it hadn't discovered me yet and it won't. 

Though, if the energy thinned too much before it came out. I will have to get out of here and wait outside to kill it, which I don't want to do.

Three minutes and thirteen seconds later. The door opened without making the slightest noise and the Grimm walked out. 

It is a Catman, with beautiful yellow lines. I had fought against a member of its tribe in the castle a week ago. Though the one I had killed was a Primary-III, while this one was Sovereign.

The moment it came out; I moved, using every bit of speed, I could harness.

It had discovered me, but it was too late. It would have been able to do something before stepping out the moment it did; it was dead.

Puch!

My sword pierced through its back before it even harnesses its full power. I was so fast that I didn't even let the bloodline phantom form before I stabbed it in the heart and sent it to my core.

With Grimm disappeared, I let go of my power and looked around the cave, before putting the abode in my core and walking out.

It had been five days since I got out of the castle, and I was moving fast toward the first exit. If I am able to maintain my speed, I would be able to reach there, in five to six days.

I want to reach the limit before I reached there.

If it is a true exit, I want to leave through it and like to be at the limit. Then I will completely focus on my breakthrough.

I pushed away those thoughts and focused on the journey ahead of me. It had been hard, and it is getting harder, but I have to complete it. 

If I want to get out of here; even if it is the thing, I am the only one interested in.

All the Sovereigns I had met in this place had no interest in getting out of this ruin, despite its immense dangers. They are searching exit like me, but for the time when they want to get out.

All they want to focus on getting resources and opportunities. Some bastards were even so daring, they tried to rob.

I beat the shit out of one native and took its storage. I really wanted to kill him, but I stopped myself. The number of Grimms in this ruin is too high, even the wretched bastard like him was necessary.

Half an hour passed, and the rays of the sun had finally started to pierce through the clouds.

The energy had nearly disappeared, but most sovereigns have already come out and begun their adventure. 

I began earlier than most and had been lucky enough to kill two Sovereign. It only happened once, two days ago.

Most of the time, when I moved to the second Grimm, after killing the first. Most of them had moved out of their abodes. Now, I would need a few more Grimms with bloodline and I would be golden for today.

A few minutes passed and Nero had attacked one Grimm; he didn't even ask me.

He knew the Grimms without a bloodline belonged to him and he had been killing them day and night. The wealth I had accumulated in the past few days has been sky-rocketed.

I was watching the battle when I focused back on the core, as the last drop of growth energy had been absorbed by the plants.

I focused on a single plant, which had been turned to dust, leaving two fruits.

The spatial tree had left the spatial fruits, and inside them were spatial seeds. One could be used to plant, while the other, as a spatial seed to create abodes and other things.

I had waited a lot before giving growth energy to the spatial tree.

I now have the spatial seed, but I am in no hurry to create an abode. I do not have the skill or complete resources yet. The resources are not a problem with the wealth I have; the problem is the skill.

I do not have sufficient skills; it will take some time before my clone could practice in Grade 4.

It is not just seeds that are precious, but also fruits themselves. They will sell for an immense price, but I have no intention of selling them. 

I have a need for them.

My clone picked one of the two fruits, one it had packed into the box, the whole second, it cut it expertly and brought out the seed. It had packed the cut fruit while burrowing the seed on the ground.

The spatial seed is an extremely powerful resource and the more one has; the better it is.

Which is why I am replanting it. I plan to grow more, and I have a chance to do that, till I am in this ruin.

After my clone burrowed into the seed, I focused back on the battle, which ended a couple of seconds later and we resumed our journey.

A couple of hours passed when we stopped, and this time to watch the battle between the native and Grimm, both of them were peak Sovereigns and their power is earthshaking.

Seeing them, the thirst for such power, couldn't help, but rise in my heart.
