Hun!

Over fifteen hours passed when I noticed some commotion. I opened my eyes and looked ahead, through a watery layer covering me.

Only to see a couple of people sitting by the energy wall.

It had kind of surprised me. Once they were done here, they will leave, and they were done. If you sit or lie down, the energy will cover you, but it is not doing that with these people.

Something must be happening, but I don't care. I will not be getting up before I take all the benefits this place has to offer.

So, after looking at them for a few more seconds, I closed my eyes and entered back into my core, and worked on my inheritance with my clones.

Time passed, and it was a twenty-one and a half hours when I opened my eyes. I saw the dense yellow water covering me drawing back.

A couple of seconds later, not even a drop remained, except for the one sticking to my backside.

I didn't get up for a few seconds, feeling a tremendous change. This place brought me it is amazing. Unbelievable even, but it had happened.

I could now move forward with no worry.

Finally, I got up and, to my surprise, every drop of water slid down from my skin.

I tried to it into my core, but I couldn't. I wanted to use the forbidden power, but here are people who have a deep knowledge of it and even some artifacts to sense it.

I wore my clothes back and walked toward the place where people were sitting, including Jeh.

Magnus and Leila were still covered in water and would take a few more hours.

"What happened, why are people not leaving?" I asked as I appeared beside Jeh. "The spawns are waiting outside," he replied, and I am not surprised; I had already guessed it might be the reason.

"They must be quite powerful to make all these people stop here," I said, and he nodded.

"There is a group of powerful Earth Sovereigns," he informed me, and I took a deep breath and look at the people in front of me, who are still covered in the liquid.

I am worried, but not as much as I would be if I were alone. Especially when I see the faces of these people. They are worried, but not scared; they likely have confidence in getting away.

Only waiting for all the people to finish, for better chances.

It will take hours since quite many people had come after us. So, I sat beside Jeh and entered my core. There, I entered the library, but this time, I didn't work on my inheritance.

Instead, I sat down and started to study the runes.

I am making great progress and while it is quite frustrating. My understanding of common runes has reached a completely different level since I started studying them.

I may be studying ancient runes, but it is helping tremendously in the understanding of common runes.

It is a reason why I had been able to create the High-Primary-III inheritance in record time and make huge progress in Peak-Primary III inheritance.

I feel like I could succeed in the fourth test, with the knowledge I have, and I wanted to try immediately, but I controlled my impulse.

I have wasted two chances already, the thing I have enough knowledge of, but losing at the end. I couldn't afford to do that, even though I am feeling confident.

I have to be absolutely sure, and currently, I am very close to that, but not at that level. It won't take me long to reach that level and once that happens, I will try for the fourth test.

I pushed those thoughts and focused on the books ahead of me.

Hours passed, and I got engrossed in studying. I love runes and they might frustrate me, but they are amazing that I wish I could just stop and focused everything on learning them.

I would have done that if I didn't have these responsibilities.

Over eleven hours passed inside the core when I opened my eyes; I only did it for a moment before closing it. Magnus had finished, but Leila and many others were still laying with yellow liquid covering them.

Two hours later, at an outside time, Leila got up. Even then, I barely opened my eyes.

Since the Grimms are outside, we won't be going out till everyone got up.

One by one, people begin to get up as time passed, till only one person remained. He took three hours after the last person to get up, and when he did, everyone got up from their spots, including.

"You woke up. I thought we would need to shake you up, like the last time," said Magnus.

"I was not sleeping," I replied.

He seemed surprised but didn't say anything further. As all the people have gathered.

"The Grimms have gathered outside and their numbers are about forty, but it is likely false; more might be hiding beyond our range," said the White Fox Beastman, with a black bone rapier at his waist.

He is also one of the two Earth Sovereigns we have and a host of Grand Art.

"So, what would be our strategy?" asked Leila directly, and Foxman smiled.

"Engaging them directly would be risky for us, without knowing much about them."

"I propose we run. Rylis and I will hold back the Earth Sovereigns, while you all make a run. Kill any spawn that tries to stop you," he said, and everybody nodded.

It is a simple but smart plan. As he said, engaging them wouldn't be wise, considering we didn't have information on their numbers and power; we should make a run.

Our chances would also be great, with these two handling all the Earth Sovereigns, which I hope wouldn't be a large number.

"Since we have decided, let's go," said a dark elf woman, who had skin brown as earth and eyes silvery as moon. She is the second Earth Sovereign and the most dangerous.

She didn't have grand art, but not all people need to have grand art to be dangerous.

We passed through the energy layer and appeared beside the wall, where a couple of people placed their badges at once.

A second later, the bricks begin to slide up, revealing a familiar grey mist and Grimms in it. They not even trying to hide themselves and their power; I could clearly sense the three Earth Sovereigns and forty Sovereigns behind them.

"Best of luck," said Fox Beastman, and disappeared with the dark elf.

It is all the signal we needed, as they disappeared, we also moved. Everyone is moving in different directions.

I could see the Grimms also dispersing toward us. Not willing to let even a single one of us leave.

Our group has remained together.

"Everyone, use your full power; there is no need to hold anything back," said Leila.

"You too, Leila, don't waste your time in playing with spawns," Magnus reminded. To that, she gave him the look before turning to the group of Grimms coming at us.
