Monster Integration

3420 Sermon Realm

"I hope you will find what you are looking for in there," said Blain. "Thank you," I said and turned to her.

"Take care of yourself; not that anyone could do anything to you," I said, to which she chuckled softly.

Even the leader of Javelin's organization is a Mid-Sovereign, and I don't think even he knows she is a Sky Sovereign.

Seeing it was only yesterday, Governor and his wife had found out.

When she removed the mask last night; he also sensed the aura. Well, she let him sense it. If she wanted to, she could have, considering she had been here for decades.

From little, she had told me; she is not from here.

A few minutes passed, and thousands of people have been able to get their hands on the pass. Though, less than two hundred were able to win it from the pillars.

People of all levels enter from Primaries to Sky Sovereigns; everyone below prime could enter it, without any restrictions.

This is the only gate in several regions and people from far had come here. Even those enemies with the javelin organization had come and the city was letting them enter.

They cannot stop it; those were the conditions of the gate, to which they agreed.

The city had already benefitted tremendously from it. It had brought trade and powerhouses, many of which they were able to recruit.

It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, whose benefits will be felt for many generations.

"Take care," she said as I moved to leave. "You too," I said as I hugged her before walking toward the gate, with hopes burning in my heart.

There is no line toward the people, people are entering it one after another. The door will remain open for one day, before closing.

Soon, I reached in front of it, and after taking a deep breath; I entered the door.

Instantly, bright light covered me. It is bright, but not harsh. Though it seeped through me, making me feel like it could see through everything.

I don't know what it is doing, nor do I could do anything about it. So, I stopped resisting and let it do what it is doing.

I stayed in the light for more than an hour before it slowly dimmed away, and I found myself in a clearing in the forest.

It doesn't feel much different from being slightly cold.

"Sermon Realm," I muttered as I looked around.

This is a realm where all doors are connected; people from all over the prime world would come here, with their destination being a sermon palace.

That is a difficult place to reach; there is no map or voice telling where to go. I will have to find it on my own.

It is why more than half of the people could never reach the sermon palace. Though, if they stayed in this place long enough, they do receive enough benefits to be worth the price they have paid for the pass.

'Nero, come out,' I said to him and immediately, he came out, looking around alertly.

As I had heard, there are no restrictions on monsters and Nero could make himself like a monster when he wants to and even I couldn't recognize him differently.

"You know what you have to do," I said to him. "Yes, Father," he said and shot out.

I have to find a way toward the sermon palace. Collect clues that might be around or catch a golden bird that has a map to it and dive into a silver lake for a pearl, that will open a portal to the sermon.

It could be any of these things or something different.

There are multiple ways to reach the sermon palace and I have four weeks to reach there.

Every time it opened. If you didn't find it in four weeks, then you would be automatically sent back to the place where you have come from.

I want to reach there as soon as possible. This way, I will be able to make use of this opportunity for the maximum.

I have already had a plan, what I have to do once I reach there. Though, I shouldn't be wasting my time thinking about it.

The priority would reach it. Everything else will come later.

Nero is moving south and I following him; according to the information I have read. It is the southern direction, which held the most clues, and I will be moving in that direction.

My pace is brisk and everything I look at is studied by my clones at the core.

With them, I will be able to pick on a lot more things than I would usually do.

An hour passed, and I crossed quite a distance, but aside from the scenery of the snow-clad hills. I didn't find any clue, which is not surprising, seeing it had been only an hour since I came here.

Hun!

I was looking at the scenery, when I saw a man materialized a few hundred meters away from me.

He is a White Bear Beastman and has an aura of Peak Sovereign.

It took him less than a moment to sense me and turned toward me. "Did you find any clues?" he asked.

"No," I replied.

Instead of accepting the answer, his eyes turned serious. With a faint hint of anger.

"Don't lie to me; I don't like it when people like to me," he said with an air of haughtiness.

"Fuck off!" I replied, and the anger came out bursting but disappeared just as such.

"See you at sermon palace, human," he said with a grin and flew into the sky, while I just shook my head.

The behavior of the beastman may seem strange, but it was not. He tried to intimidate me and when it didn't work; he laughed it off and moved away.

I have come across many such people to know how to deal with them. I would have even fought it if I had sensed any other intention than intimidation.

It was one and a half months since I have raised my weapon and I would have more than been happy to do it if someone give me enough reason.

I watched him disappear and resumed walking on my determined path.

Hun!

Hours passed, and I have come across the lake. I have come across many lakes, but it is Nero, who always went inside, but currently, he is inside another lake.

I took a deep breath and jumped inside the icy lake.

Immediately, I felt the biting cold. It is so much cold, that I wanted to use my energy or just summon my armor.

Here is another stupid thing about this place. You can't use energy or armor, or the clues won't be visible to you. The only exception is the usage of worldly energy.

It is a stupid rule, and I wouldn't have believed it, but nearly all testaments have said the same thing and I am not going to refute them.

So, I bore the cold and begin to look for every nook and cranny of the frozen lake, which is trying to freeze me like water above.
