Thud!

I landed on the deck a minute before the deadline; most of the others have returned and many are returning.

"Looking at your face; it seemed like, you have got the good haul," I said to Zarna as she landed by me.

She seemed happy, smiling ear to ear.

"Yes, I did, and you?" she asked. "It was not disappointing," I replied and her smile little dimmed.

"You shouldn't have run to a secluded place; the place, I had gone was a little crowded, but there were a lot of pearl oysters," she said, mistaking my words for the bad haul.

"It wasn't really bad," I replied, putting a little bigger smile on my face.

Soon the three hours passed, but the shields didn't come back. There will be, it will take a minute more; there is a minute of pulling period.

A moment later, the people begin to come out of the sea. It was not like before, as they were coming out without their will. Forcefully by the power of the Prime.

Now it is past three hours; they will not be able to enter the sea, the next three times.

It is the punishment. If you follow the rules, you will get to avail every chance the sea has.

Finally, the minute was over, and the shields came back, and the ship started to sail again with its speed increasing every second, till it felt like it began to float over the water.

I watched for a while before saying goodbye to the people.

Two and a half minutes later, I was in my suit with a big smile on my face. Others might have a good haul, but there are very few who would be able to compare to me.

Especially with the three black pearls, which I wouldn't have gotten without the help of my clone.

Now, I wouldn't need to worry about not having enough for the practice. With three, not only I would be able to do the talaras but also do other things, including a few experiments.

I walked into the kitchen and made myself a tea, before bringing it to my balcony and drinking it.

It felt peaceful, and I liked it.

If it were another life, I wouldn't have so many responsibilities. I wouldn't have minded taking the job on the ship. It had its dangers, but nothing could be compared to the views and calmness that the sea provides.

Unfortunately, it couldn't happen in this life, but I at least could enjoy my time here for all it's worth.

I sighed and finished the last sip of the tea before walking back into my room.

A minute later, I appeared in my core, and the first thing I looked at was the big glass square on the second island.

In that glass square is a metallic-octopus is floating. The glass square is big, it gives it enough freedom to move around, but nothing could be compared to the sea.

It will take it a while to get used to its new home.

I turned my eyes away and walked toward the two clones working on pieces of the grey metal. Usually, one clone is enough, but this time two had come, seeing the peculiarities in the metal.

"What did you two find out?" I asked as I walked toward them.

"Many things. This metal is amazing; it would be great to use for your breakthrough and also the abode," said the clones.

I know it is amazing.

The metal is a great insulator of the forbidden power, but it could also turn into the best conductor for it. Till now, I had got many things with great conducting for the forbidden power, but nothing as good as this one.

It will help me tremendously; I could already tell the type of things in which it could help me.

It is just the metal that the monster had produced. Which I think has more secrets and I want to know them all. I am pretty sure, they will help me a lot, in my understanding of forbidden power.

I stayed there for a couple of seconds before walking toward the library.

It is time. I have been postponing it for months, feeling I am not ready. Now, I don't know, whether I am ready or not, but I think it is time that I try for the challenge.

I need to open the floor above. These floors have what I need, but I know the upper floor will offer me more.

It will give me more knowledge and I need knowledge. It will help with the inheritance and profession.

I opened the door and walked inside before looking up.

Till now, I had opened the four floors of the library; they are massive floors, tall as skyscrapers, containing enough knowledge that even Prime organization would wage war for it.

"Teacher," I said, and a moment later, she appeared in front of me. "I want to try the challenge,"

A smile appeared on her face and a moment later, I found the library disappear and I found myself in the massive red stele. There is a dense formation on it, but it is all foggy.

"This is the fifth challenge of the library. Pass it and you will get the privileges that I mentioned before." "This will be your first chance. If you fail again, there will be two more chances to try," she informed.

"I understand," I said.

"Good. You have three hours to finish the challenge and it starts now!" she said and the blur over the stele disappeared.

The formation appeared in front of me. It is huge and complex, and I only have three hours to solve it.

The pressure is great. I know, I have more chances, but I don't want to waste time. I had done that with the challenge; I should have attempted it right after the breakthrough.

I shook my head and pushed away those thoughts. It is not a time to think about them; I only have three hours and every second is important.
