Monster no Goshujin-sama

15. Hands Together

15 - Lily Perspective

In order to decide on the treatment of Mr. Kato, we need to re-compartmentalize this place.

It was naturally my job to confuse this place with pranks.

"I'm sorry I messed up, Rose"

I bowed my head to my sister first.

"I was not calm. I was swept away by emotions."

"Dear Sister Lily..."

"I've annoyed you. I'm so sorry."

In retrospect, from the moment I was kidnapped of your husband, I only left myself to that anger and impatience with the white Arakune.

I'm being held to anger right now, but in the meantime, I think I've annoyed Rose for a long time.

"I don't mind."

Rose didn't look like she cared and accepted my apology.

"Your husband won't want to be disturbed here about Sister Lily."

"Yeah. But I'll be as careful as I can in the future"

It seems unlikely to me that I am not upset when something happens to your husband.

That's well understood in this one case.

I cannot be like Rose.

But even if you were upset, you should be able to behave as rationally as possible.

We should be able to try to be that way.

I'll admit, I was immature.

Now that I have come to realize it, I must grow up.

"And I'd rather leave the decision about Kato from here on out to Rose at all. Okay?"

"Okay."

You expected me to say that, Rose smoothly accepted my request.

We are sisters born by the power of your master almost always between us. At times like this, the conversation is quick and helpful.

"Is that okay?

I shrugged my shoulders to Kato, who pinched my mouth.

"It's okay. Rather than......"

"That's what we have to do."

And I said unto him, Rose hath taken the end thereof.

"You have now 'crushed' Sister Lily. My doubtful sister, who was the biggest obstacle to you, is no longer convinced of her judgment. So I have nothing else to deal with."

As for the current situation, the jealousy I have towards Mr. Kato itself, I am somehow accepted.

This is with Rose... I don't really want to admit it because it's slightly match-pumped, but I can say it's thanks to Kato.

But on the other hand, I have not been able to dispel the suspicion that 'my jealousy will produce selfish judgment'.

For example, let's say here I decide not to take Mr. Kato.

I will not be able to abandon the suspicion that my personal feelings are caught in the judgment.

There was no way I could have believed myself that much when I had just been dragged down by emotions and bothered Rose.

So I'll leave this place to Rose.

Let me talk about it, but I'm going to leave the final decision to Rose.

... Is this all what Kato thinks it is too?

Though it seems very suspicious in my mind that the seeds of suspicion against her are about to sprout.

"I don't want you to get me wrong."

I wouldn't even have seen through those inside of me, Kato said in a tone of mixed signs of bitter laughter.

"I thought Mr. Rose was sweeter, so I didn't."

That would be so.

I have zero chance of being a negotiator.

Rose can still talk.

That sounds sweeter to Rose to me, but that's not true at all in reality.

She's just fair.

Unlike me, she makes decisions that are not flushed by emotions.

Because I can believe it, and I wanted to entrust this occasion to her.

"Well, please"

Copy that, sir.

I decided to take a step back and watch the two facing each other.

"Mr. Kato."

It was Rose who cut the fire.

"If you negotiate with me, there is a possibility that you can take me with you. Your decision is not an error. In fact, I have been leaning in the direction of taking you from the beginning. … but"

Rose cut the words once. If she was human, maybe she also had one of her sighs on.

"Isn't this the wrong way to do it? Wouldn't it make sense if I left your sister Lily and turned to your enemies as a result?"

It seems to be calm now, but Rose seemed to remember the anger emotions apparently when she saw that I could be stopped by Kato.

Rose, a wooden doll, is basically rational and unfamiliar with the mechanics of human emotion.

For example, even if I know your husband is suffering, I don't understand what is tormenting him so much, like that.

But that doesn't mean she doesn't have feelings for herself.

I have a bad impression of the existence of a person who has hurt him in the past, even if not as much as I, who saw firsthand the beaten husband, and if I, my companion, are bullied, I will be angry.

If I hit him badly, Mr. Kato might not even have been able to negotiate with Rose in this way.

So Rose blamed the desperation for not choosing the means.

In a way, for Kato's sake now, Rose is angry.

Rose's integrity is directed at man and his family.

These anger creatures are something I do not have that is hostile to humans. From a different point of view than mine, she may perceive a human being named Mana Kato.

"There must have been other more moderate means. Haven't you chosen to be Kato?

"For example, using Mr. Rose as a mole to persuade Mr. Lily - or something?

When Kato gave an example, Rose nodded back at it.

"My sister had blood on her head, so she might not have listened to me or anything.... No. It will almost certainly never be heard, but it will have broken the paralysis with me and jumped out on its own."

It's not that bad.

Can't it be...?

I was completely irrational, and if I kept talking to you for five minutes, even one of you would have gone to your husband.

"Mr. Lily, you still looked like you were going to jump out."

Kato seemed to agree.

I snapped a little when I thought it was that easy to understand.

"Under that white Arakune, you can't just let Sister Lily turn to you alone. I would have followed my sister soon, too. But even then, all I had to do was hold Kato and chase him. Because I didn't doubt you as much as your sister, and I didn't mean to violate your husband's orders."

"Right."

Mr. Kato returned the favor to Rose's story.

"I guess that would have been more likely. Perhaps I should have taken a more moderate approach if I wanted to follow you"

Mr. Kato admitted all Rose had to say.

"But then, seniors will not be saved"

Admittedly - I denied that option.

That means I knew everything Rose said from the beginning, and still, I didn't dare.

"If it was just for me to follow, Mr. Rose was right, I could also ask for peace of mind. Neither do I like anything and want to hurt Mr. Lily.... but isn't that all you can do? It doesn't make sense if you can't help your senior. Different?

"That's true... but you're right"

Rose's voice was perplexed.

It doesn't make sense if you can't help your husband.

Oh, that's right. Kato is right. But how does that tie into her aggressive behavior a few minutes ago? Rose doesn't know that, and I was the same.

Mr. Kato laid his hand on his chest against our family, who showed no understanding.

"I have no power to fight. So I can't help Senior Mashima."

Mana Kato is just a man without the power to fight.

No way does convenience happen when you suddenly wake up to cheat ability.

There's nothing she can do but be human.

"But that's the same as Mr. Rose right now, isn't it?

After acknowledging her weakness, Ms. Kato pointed out one fact.

"White Arakune. That must be a high monster you said before, right? You must not fight. It also depends on your luck if you can escape. A monster that will never be rivaled. That's what you said, isn't it? - I'm ready to smash the balls, but if that doesn't serve your purpose, isn't it just a dog dying?"

Kato's argument was completely irrefutable.

Where we intended, we cannot recapture your husband without sufficient strength.

There is a part of this cruel world where feelings alone can't be helped.

"Senior Mashima can't help Mr. Rose. Then nothing is different from me who have no power to fight."

For example, if we had attacked the white Arakune, as I had breathed just now, we would have been ravaged without the art of exchange.

Helping your husband, of course, without being able to.

That's literally a dog dying.

After pointing out our powerlessness, Mr. Kato continued.

"But some things are different between me and Mr. Rose. Mr. Rose and his men have the art of fighting. You can fight, even if you're not enemies. If you can fight, depending on how you do it, you might be able to help Senior Mashima. … but that's only if we don't attack the dark clouds."

Again, this was an earache point.

In fact, we were trying helplessly to challenge that white Arakune opponent, who we know to possess mighty power.

If you calm down and think about it, that's, like, impossible.

Something's wrong.

It's normal to make as many calculations as you can help firmly, and if that's not possible, it would be normal to make an effort to give you that possibility at all.

What I couldn't do is... this is already totally my downfall.

I wasn't calm. There was blood on my head.

Seeing me like that, Mr. Kato must have wondered what to do.

Should I have told you to calm down?... No. It was hopeless, too.

Where Rose had already told me many times to calm down, Kato added a little bit of mouth, and nothing could change. In the first place, in a few minutes, I would have popped up alone. She didn't even have time to convince me.

If I told you, maybe we were like, 'A mother in a panic trying to help a child fall into a river'.

I can't even swim, but I'm about to jump into a wild river. Instead of persuading me, I can't get through to you in the first place. On the contrary, it's going to jump in right now. I just jumped in with you, and there's just one more body.

Then we'll have to beat him in the head from behind and stop him already.

To my mind, Rose may have noticed such a danger to me.

But she couldn't come up with the option of 'punching me in the head'. This has no choice. Because she doesn't know the finesse of a human mind, because she doesn't understand how I am, and therefore she didn't know what to do.

On the other hand, to Mr. Kato, who is only a human being, he lacked the strength to just beat us.

So he stirred me up, and made me listen... and crushed me on top of it with words that poke at my weaknesses.

With that in mind, I can understand and be convinced.

... Though I don't actually feel anything on my chest as a smashed body.

"Nothing will change if I just follow. I thought I would never be able to help seniors unless you guys regained your calm. That was the minimum line. As a result, I couldn't give up on you two being left here in a bad mood."

I ruled out emotions. If I were to judge her from the fairest possible perspective, Kato's actions might not have been the best, but they must have been Better.

In fact, I am regaining reason. She's getting results.

There may have been other ways, but it's cruel to seek the best choice in that short amount of time. Instead, if you read that far and then 'punched him in the head aggressively', Mr. Kato would deserve praise for his brilliance.

Thanks to her, we were able to regain ourselves as much as we could to contemplate things.

Surely the most important thing is to help your husband, and if it is not exchanged, it means nothing where we have given up our lives. In order to do this, there are other dark cloud attacks.

That's what Kato said...

... Is that it?

But wouldn't that be a little strange?

"If you can't rescue your husband, it doesn't make sense, because if you try from me, your family, you're certainly right..."

When I realized that I had left Rose with this occasion, I had pinned my mouth to the conversation between the two of them.

"Why is Kato, a human, so worried about your husband?

In retrospect, since earlier Kato has been talking on the assumption that 'if you can't help your husband, it doesn't make sense'.

As for me of my family, I had no objection, so I was flushing it, but it should only be 'reason on our side of the family'.

Mr. Kato is human. Yet it moves in 'Reason on Our Families'.

I can't even think of the possibility of them all leaving me out of my mouth, but I can tell from what I've done to dare make Rose's mind feel worse in order to stop me running wild that apparently it doesn't seem like it.

This means that, like us, Kato wanted to help her husband.

It's also so strong that you can't turn yourself back.

In retrospect of that, there are other things that are convincing.

For example, Kato, who was well timed and almost shelled out in this emergency, recovered, maybe that's why for a second.

She was showing herself to her husband who had been exposed to Arakune. I wanted to help. But at heart we are trying to get into it helplessly and we are unlikely to be able to help your husband as it is...

You can't just watch it like this.

If the thought was to revitalize her spirit, which was slowly recovering, once and for all on this occasion... it was that I could nod to the good timing.

But if that's right, that now raises one question.

The fact that she is moving with the same logic as we are means that she, a human being, has thoughts comparable to those that our families send to him.

That was my question.

So I asked.

My questioning was immaculate, at least in me.

I can only guess right now, but if you have a husband on this occasion, I think he should think the same way.

But apparently it wasn't the same for Kato.

"Why did you say,"

There was danger in Kato's voice questioning him that way.

Every sound was poisoned with dripping poison.

"Am I not to guide my predecessors?

It was a poison in the name of anger.

"Ugh..."

With all my emotions turned against me, I was deflected.

Until now, Kato has never shown such bad feelings.

Even when she slapped me, she was not mad.

To put it, her hostility has always been transparent. Only to serve her purpose - just to help your husband, I guess, she was moving.

But this moment was different.

"Do you have to be a family member?

Only for a moment, but she was turning her great anger against me.

It's only a quiet rage. Mr. Kato never roughed up his voice.

But yet, the deep pain and sorrow seemed clear underneath the trembling voice.

Perhaps I have said something very inadvertent. The more reason she lost me and got angry, the deeper she touched the wound.

"I..."

Open your mouth a few times, close it, bite your lips off.

Finally, Mr. Kato laid his eyes down.

"... excuse me. Disturbed."

Apparently, he succeeded in self control in just a few moments.

There were no more colours of anger left in the words Kato uttered.

"Hi, welcome, I'm sorry. I think I said something inadvertent."

I bowed my head too.

As far as I can tell right now, apparently Kato is seriously worried about your husband.

I don't know why I let her have those feelings, but I didn't have the courage to ask the boulder again. I didn't want to piss Mr. Kato off at the prank, and I wasn't going to be mean enough to casually touch someone else's place where they shouldn't be touched for the sake of interest.

"Do you mind if I put the story back together?

It was still Rose who broke the subtle air that flowed between us.

She is calm at all times. There is little she can do to disturb you other than to involve your husband.

Kato seemed to have regained his mind and bowed his head lightly to Rose.

"I understand about Mr. Kato cooling our heads. It was a somewhat abusive means, but I'm going to admit its validity."

"Thank you"

"No. I guess this is the one to thank. Because thanks to you, we did not have to throw ourselves into reckless special attacks. But......"

"Yes, now we're just at the starting point"

Rose nodded heavily at Kato's words.

"Right. It doesn't make sense if you just get your sanity back and don't come up with enough help to actually help your husband out. Unfortunately, I am unlikely to be able to come up with an effective operation. Lily, my sister..."

Rose looked back, so I shook my neck to the side.

"-This one, too, he's not going to think of it."

Rose turned to Kato again

"Mr. Kato said you wanted to go with us to your husband. If I take you, what can I do about this impending situation?

"I know it's not that simple."

To this Rose question, Mr. Kato returned a denial.

"I know what I can do alone. Instead, there will be almost nothing. I know I'm not in a situation where I can do something.... I'm confirming this, is there any chance I can take that spider down from the front with my strength?

…… I guess I can't. If you fight a hundred times, if you fight a thousand times, you'll be killed a thousand times. "

Rose estimated the odds of winning coldly.

"Either Mr. Lily or Mr. Rose...... no. Do you mind if I hang both of them with the intention of dying?

"Still... I don't think I can. It's your word if you get hurt."

"... Lily thought you'd get into it a lot."

"Well, that's... because there was blood on my head"

He was Kato, who turned into a frightened face, but when he immediately switched his expression, he made further inquiries.

"So why don't you just help Senior Mashima?

"I wonder if that's impossible either."

Rose's answer to this question, which also dropped a bit of a hurdle, was' no '.

"Because there's too much difference in strength.... right. If a miracle happens, you might be able to do enough to get out temporarily."

"Can you get out?

"Temporarily, or. Still, it doesn't end up killing you."

That would make no sense.

I had roughly the same view as Rose.

The situation is hopeless.

So much so that it even seems as if that despair deepens with each continuation of the question.

"Really? Thank you, Mr. Rose. I understand the situation very well.... Looks like the situation sucks, as I thought"

Yes. The circumstances in which we were placed are severe.

As things stand, I don't have the means to fight that white Arakune and take back your husband.

Pushing into enemies without thinking is the stupidest thing to do without debate, but just because it bothered your head doesn't necessarily mean you can come up with a good idea.

"In the meantime, there's only one thing I can say"

Kato flickered when everyone shared the harshness of the situation and bitterness.

"Lily and Rose went to help Senior Mashima like this, and we can't help the man who was captured."

"Yeah, I see."

"Then shouldn't you even borrow a cat's hand for what you can borrow at this time? Like me, but it might help."

"... our situation, which cannot help your husband, can never get any worse. So, I don't want to take Kato, but the situation won't get any worse if it gets better?

"Yes, and there are other things I can do"

Kato, who closed one eye, pounded around his temple with his fingertips.

"Even if it's something the two of us wouldn't come up with, the three of us might come up with"

"If the three of you come by... do you mean?

"Yes, at least, I think I can make a somewhat better suggestion than as if it were an unlikely ball crush"

Kato said this, but as for being 'smashed' earlier, there's something quite comforting about her if she's going to be Blaine.

Of course, there's talk about whether I can trust her or not.

I do not trust Rose to do so, and I still feel that I do not want to take the uncertainty element with me as far as possible.

It is true that she has summed us up in an attempt to make a special attack on the darkness, and she says she wants to help your husband, but there are questions about the credibility of the statement itself, and if she does, that is the only reason.

However, all those various thoughts made no sense.

Trustworthy or untrustworthy is not an issue at this time.

What is certain is that we cannot take back your husband as we are.

It also means that we cannot stand alone in manoeuvres that overshadow it.

As Mr. Kato pointed out, we are stuck as things stand.

Then I'll have to bet on the elements I haven't considered yet.

We have to rely on Kato.

... What is it?

At some point the problem we had had turned into whether to accept her help, not whether to trust Mr. Kato or not.

And then there's how Rose makes her decision...

"Don't you really know that Lily, even Rose,"

Mr. Kato said nothing but vain.

"We're not alone, we're already stuck. That's why I'm betting on the slightest possibility. Isn't that why Mr. Rose spends his precious time identifying me as a human being? If that's what you're saying, it's not what you're saying."

That's how Kato had a slight grin on his mouth.

"Let me help Senior Mashima. I'll make sure it helps."

Give me the hand Mr. Kato had on his chest.

Rose turned to the palm of his hand.

I found out that the heart of my lovely little sister was in my hand.

It doesn't matter if the pass is connected or not, because I felt exactly the same as her.

"Sister."

"I know."

I didn't want to admit it anymore.

We were utterly defeated by this mortal girl, who had no power to fight, without any skill to exchange.

Then after about enough operational meetings, we finally moved on to tracking Arakune.

Fortunately, we have a connection between our master and his family. The connection is not chaotic enough to be cut off by a little bit of a distance.

Mr. Kato, who is just a human being, has no such thing about our journey, so Rose decided to move in his arms.

This can be considered a rather dangerous means of movement.

Though it has my enemy ability to simulate Fire Fang's sense of smell, it is not absolute. There are so many obstacles in the woods that it's about as fast as a small run, but still the perimeter confirmation is negligible, and most importantly, it sucks that Rose's hand is buried.

Usually I definitely want to avoid the situation, but I couldn't complain right now.

Pray to heaven that you will not encounter monsters until the end.

No. If you're going to think about the reckless battle you're going to be challenging, unless you're as lucky as you deserve to be grabbing it, I guess we're not going to talk about it.

Because we are going to challenge that white tyranny.

In the end, I couldn't think of any convenient tactics that could defeat that one.

Naturally. Where amateurs like us haunted their minds, they know how many things to think about.

Still, try.

There's no chance - it's not.

I have a plan. It's almost like a beating, but only the possibilities are connected.

said Kato, the architect of the operation.

"Are you prepared to survive no matter what?

If that's for your husband, our response was settled.

To wrap our thin yarn-like winning eyes around us, we proceeded to your master through the dark, sinking night forest.
