Morningstar Of Sin
Chapter 54 - Hela's Story
(A/N: Genshin impact is pretty fun 7/10. The poll is still up and it took a surprising turn, some of you made good points for why and why not to have kids. To address a comment that was deleted quickly after creation. You are right, I hate pokemon gotta catche them all type harems. This next arch will introduce two new girls and those will be final. Only minor things after these next two. Of course Natasha, Hela, and Raven will be added in addition.

"Let us go somewhere more... pleasant," I say looking around at all the corpses and destroyed stone floors we have left. I reach out my hand offering it to her.
She nods seriously as she takes my hand. As she takes my hand we vanish and reappear in the Hall of Plague only a mile away from where we fought. I was here last time when Odin and I planned our attack on Nidhogg.
The room we are in is grand and tall with cold bluestone walls and furniture. The meeting table as well as all the chairs are stone as well. I am still surprised he gave up possession of this realm to make sure his daughter was sealed. I sit down at the table and gestured for her to sit as well.
"Go ahead, I am listening." I give a soft smile.
She nods as the sword disappears into her body as she slowly sits down. "Having been born with power over death I was told from a young age that I would be given Niflheim to rule over. That I would control Helheim directly."
"But I felt that was a waste of my talents. I am the strongest Asgardian to ever live, why should I be given such a small lot? Yet my unborn brother would be given the right to rule the nine realms? To rule over me? I felt indignant."
"Of course I argued with father day and night over it but he was stubborn. Despite my pleas he still held that only a son could rule the nine realms, that I was too hungry for conquest. HE WANTED CONQUEST, I ONLY FOLLOWED HIS ORDERS!." She slams the table in anger.
"He started signing peace treaties with each realm. He made us the 'Guardian' of the nine realms. What good does being the guardian of peace do for us? The realms merely use us a shield while we get nothing out of it."
"That was around the time he got wounded by Gorr. I was angry that my father had been injured by a cowardly ambush against an opponent who was weaker than him. So I sought him out and hunted him like a dog. I killed him in a one on one and took his sword Klyntar."
"Klyntar?" I ask with raised brows.
She nods "It's the symbiotes name." I nod and gesture for her to continue.
"Once I had the Necrosword. I was already more powerful than my father in combat. With the use of death magic, he wouldn't be able to even scratch me. So I decided for the good of Asgard I would convince the Asgardian people to pressure him into relieving his position."
"I had a good following among the people, most warrior families believed I would be a better All-Mother than he had been. He had brought nothing but war while I always quickly conquered and left with minimal casualties."
"I was effective at using fear in my fights to leave a people broken after only the first battle. Father saw the pressure he was receiving as an act of treason. He sent me on a mission to relieve the tension of an uprising with the Valkyries only for me to find myself in Helheim and not Vanaheim."
Her fists tighten and brows furrow as she gets angrier and angrier. "That is when the women I had led for hundreds of years turned against me. I slaughtered them myself as the world around me started to close. Father used his Odinforce to lock me in a marble of reality."
I rub my chin as I listen "More and more Sins are piling on Odin. I am finding less and less reason to let him live… He is already near the end of his lifespan… perhaps he should just live his last few years in shame."
"No. I will kill him." She says through grit teeth.
I roll my eyes "Perhaps you should take your time to decide. Though your anger is justified your actions affect more than just you. Not only that, your mother is a kind person, you would only destroy her feelings. She has gone through a lot being the wife of that failure."
"She was the reason I didn't just march into the throne room and kill that old coot. It would have saved me so many troubles… So many years of my life…" She says with a downtrodden expression.
"When you are my wife you will become immortal, don't worry about a mere 1,500 years," I say with a more serious expression.
"IT'S OVER HALF OF MY LIFE. TRAPPED IN A BOX WITH THE CORPSES OF THOSE I ONCE CALLED FRIENDS! I CAN'T JUST 'NOT WORRY' ABOUT IT!" Her fists crack the table as tears well up in her eyes but do not fall.
I put a reassuring hand on her as I rub her back softly. "It must have been difficult. But you are soon to be a wife of the Morningstar. One of the most powerful women to ever exist."
She gives me a side-eye from underneath her hand "I don't remember accepting your proposal."
I smirk "I know but you seem like a smart woman."
She rolls her eyes "I lost myself in emotion for a second there. Thinking about it makes me angry… are you coming with me to Asgard?"
I nod "Of course, I need to make sure you don't kill him… or at least if you do that Frigga will not be hurt."
I hold out my arms as I take a deep breath. "Give me a second." I quickly take hold of the heart of the realm and claim the realm as my own. I don't connect it to the other realms yet as I want a leader first.
I breathe out observing everything in my realm. It is incredibly barren with only a few creatures living here. Even fewer sentient beings. I decide to let the new leader deal with it. I disconnect the realm physically from two other of the Yggdrasil realms. I let the river continue to run through though.
Once she sees me open my eyes she stands up and says, "I will open a gate to Asgard."
I smile as I grab her shoulder "No need." We both vanish and appear again in the feasting hall of Asgard.
Odin stands up as the Necorsword appears in Hela's hand. Gungnir appears in Odin's hand as he walks off the upper platform slowly. Angela watches with a confused face while Frigga is crying. Another water bender like that blond girl in the titans.
They slowly approach each other as Thor grabs his hammer and is about to rush at Hela from behind. I smirk as I set fire to his cloak causing him to freak out and try and stomp on it to put it out. Hellfire isn't that easy to put out.
I turn back to Hela and Odin facing each other with eager eyes. I teleport to Odin's throne to sit next to Angela who has figured it out by now.
She turns to me unsurprised by my arrival "So that's my younger sister?"
I gesture to her crying step-mother "Yes, yes it is. According to her account, Odin betrayed her when she tried to pressure him off the seat with diplomacy. Neither of them is really lying so I'm going to let them beat each other up for a bit."
Her eyes narrow at me, "You're going to let your 'wife' get beat up."
I laugh a bit "She is much stronger than he is right now. I tested her strength myself and made sure she wasn't being manipulated. It will be fairly one-sided."
"So you want my father beat up?" She asks with raised brows.
"Yes, I do. He deserves it after all… Do you disagree?" I ask genuinely curious.
She turns back to the two with the first smile I've seen her have since Heven. "I never said that."
