Most Powerful Sect System
29 First Generation Rising Sun Disciples
F**k! How am I supposed to know what you mean by pummeling him to the ground! If you do, I will suppress you like a Golden Dragon!
Truthfully, if I had the strength I would consider giving the small guy an advantage by powering him up a bit with a Martial Skill.
Unfortunately, I don't have the means. After this, I'll either be laughing or crying.
Well… It isn't that bad, even if he loses I can still do another entrance exam sometime. He should want to follow his friend at all costs. It seems as if they were friends when they came the first time. So they should be childhood friends or something similar.
I still have to abide by my own rules and fail him if he loses, I can't show favoritism this early on, or at all.
I stared at both of them and knew I couldn't delay:
"Begin!"
As I started to shout they both rushed out to meet each other, the big guy was running quite seriously towards him as well.
I hope he doesn't actually pummel him…
They kept running, and… didn't actually stop.
It seemed as if they wanted to just ram into each-other full force!
At the last moment, the small guy dipped down low and rolled to the right as Phorbes passed him.
I still haven't learned his name yet either…
As he rolled he got back up and by the time he was up, Phorbes has already turned around. He had an expression that seemed to say "Come!".
The small guy ran towards him and punched his guard, Phorbes had put his hands up while he turned around and blocked his punch with ease.
However, it didn't seem to do much as the small guy actually rushed him pretty hard! He was pretty fast earlier when he was punching. His small frame comes with some benefits it seems.
Although he packs less power, his speed is nothing to scoff at.
Phorbes seemed to take the full brunt of it, every small punch was aimed either towards his face or his body. He kept his hands up to guard his face the entire time and only his body was hit by a few of those wasp stings.
The rush lasted for about 10 seconds of furious stinging, Phorbes opened his tight guard and a punch immediately connected with his face.
Although he was tough it still made his nose start to bleed, he shook it off completely with the blood starting to run down. He continued to put his guard down and was met by one more punch that flung bright red blood all over the arena.
Phorbes pulled back his arm and unleashed one of the strongest punches I have seen from him yet. That punch would undoubtedly kill a normal person!
The small guy was still trying to punch him and was aiming up the next punch for his body, as he was about to throw it out he didn't even notice the mountain dropping on him from above.
Just as I thought I would see his skull vanish, the arena teleported him out.
Everyone was stunned at the power in that punch, simply because even after he did it he continued down towards the arena and punched the center of the arena!
If I didn't have the Tier 0 arena, but a regular one. I think it would have actually cracked or dented it!
An earth-shaking bang sounded out as the mountain's fist landed on the solid metal and reverberated for quite a long way.
Using this amount of power with zero mana cultivation was amazing! He must have at least 2 or 3 strength!
This guy was actually holding back the entire time during the fight he had earlier, but he didn't pull this last punch.
His face was strained as he picked himself back up, his knuckles were shredded and bleeding.
He looked like he fought a fierce battle, covered in blood on his face from his nose and his hand.
I nearly forgot to announce that he won and simply stated:
"Phorbes, you have won. You have two wins and will be awarded one day to study the Flaming Pinwheel for free.
He saluted and blood flew from his body as he did, he looked like a true warrior…
If I built the sect with him as a pillar it would last for quite a while.
I looked over to the ground where the smaller boy was laying as I gave a slight sigh.
He only took one punch, and because it would have decimated him completely he took no damage from it as he was teleported out.
Although Phorbes went all-out; he still didn't harm his friend. Quite the smart guy!
I called out the last pair and the combat exam ended. I took a look at my new disciples.
All of them had battle scars, a few of the strongest had nearly no damage done to them.
6 People failed the test out of the 42 that passed the screening. Which includes that Tier 4 talent that got away…
Although I want to cry, I must remain strong in the face of my new disciples!
"You all have passed, and some have passed with flying colors. You are all now officially the first generation disciples of the Rising Sun Sect." I said proudly.
After I said this they did something unexpected, without fail, all of them did the exact same thing.

" . . . "
I was silent for a while as I didn't expect this… The mission completed at the same moment as this surprise! The rewards are really not bad too, but the last one wasn't needed and was a bit insulting.
"As Outer Sect Disciples of the Rising sun, you will now have to stay inside of the sect as an outer disciple until you either die, or you become an Inner Disciple."
"To become an Inner disciple you must reach the 5th Tier, however as long as you remain an Outer Disciple you will still receive monthly Merit Points as long as you complete one job every month."
"My wish is that you cultivate your potential to the maximum because you all now represent the Rising Sun!"
"I will now explain the most basic rule of the Rising Sun Sect; you may not harm your fellow disciples unless you challenge them to a duel. You may only spar inside of duel arenas without the intention to seriously harm them. If you are found guilty of harming a fellow disciple there will be serious consequences!"
While I explained the rest of the rules I split my tasks into two and started to roll the lottery tickets so when they go inside the Treasure Pavilion they would at least see a few more things.
I pulled the lever and ended up with these:
[Congratulations! You have drawn: T0 Smooth Skin Body Cultivation Manual!]
[Congratulations! You have drawn: T0 Bronze Skin Body Cultivation Manual!]
These don't look too shabby, let's draw the Martial Skills…
[Congratulations! You have drawn: T0 Wind Slash Martial Skill]
[Congratulations! You have drawn: T0 Fiery Vajra Palm Martial Skill]
[Congratulations! You have drawn: T0 Floating Clouds, Rising Steps Skill]
[Congratulations! You have drawn: T0 Pure Mana Pulse Martial Skill]
It seems I got pretty lucky with Floating Clouds, Rising Steps. It would allow the user to walk two steps into the air, able to walk on air itself!
It was one of the most advanced Tier 0 skills that would require a while to learn, the Pure Mana Pulse was quite ordinary, however.
It simply sent out a strong pulse of mana from your body in all directions. It was one of the most basic attacks.
Normally when you would use a Martial Skill, it would transform the mana in your body using a special formula. This formula would increase the power of your mana or add certain properties to it to allow you to do things like the Floating Clouds, Rising Steps Martial Skill.
The Mana Pulse, however, only let you take the raw mana in your body and send it out in a very inefficient attack.
The two Body Cultivation manuals were very different in application. The Bronze Skin manual, as long as you trained your body in the way it described. It would become a shining bronze and as hard as metal.
The Smooth body requires even more work, and would most likely be used by a female. It requires a flexible body to make enemies attack's slip off of your skin. It will give your skin a glossy shine and the property would be close to rubber.
I finished explaining the rules and how they could apply and find jobs at the Billboard. I then solemnly said towards them:
"First Generation Outer Disciples, Prepare yourself to take the Mana-Heart oath; that you will never betray your Sect. And with this, you will be allowed entry."
"This is the only way the Wall of the Sect will open up to you, it is able to sense the oath in your mana-heart."
I said this and they began to line up in front of me.
Phorbes was the first one to line up, as he seemed to take it the most seriously.
I said towards him:
"Repeat after me, and it will be sealed inside your mana-heart. Are you ready?"
He gave a solid salute as his face became stern and began to close to the words I said…
Truthfully, if I had the strength I would consider giving the small guy an advantage by powering him up a bit with a Martial Skill.
Unfortunately, I don't have the means. After this, I'll either be laughing or crying.
