Most Powerful Sect System

37 Phorbes's time to shine.

{Radiant‌ City}

In the town of Radiant City, the city was full of men and women running through the streets, some with greed in their eyes. While others had righteous look with a hint of arrogance.

They have heard the news that there will soon be a Sect Examination, and there are no requirements. You simply had to pass the examination and you would be allowed entry.

Normally the sects would require you to come from a special background, have a letter of recommendation from someone in a high post. Or the sects were even sometimes would only let the people have the chance to enter every few years!

They were saddened before that they missed out on the Entrance Examination because they found out too late, but now, the city was full of life and springing towards the hope of a better life as an immortal cultivator.

Meanwhile, inside the Rising Sun Sect. Keleman was pacing back and forth, worried if all his preparations were the correct choices.

Having no MPS Points to purchase the next series. This has left me with nothing but time for the past day, I wonder if everything I have done will be enough.

I had just gotten back from informing Phorbes of his duties, and how he should handle them. He seemed like he would know what to do, but like a doting parent, I would stay a bit behind and watch just to make sure nothing went wrong.

My future plan was to upgrade his talent, and make him a disciplinary officer if something were to go out of hand. His demeanor would not allow anyone to break the rules. So I want to start grooming him to take control of some things.

I still need to add more people to higher positions in the future such as Elders, Grand Elders and maybe a few permanent guards.

Beforehand I was going to post a job that would ask a disciple to guard the front of the sect, only up to 10 could apply for the position per day. But, the higher Tier they were the more compensation of merit points they would receive. Now after thinking of the 'retirement' system for the sect, I would allow any Outer Disciple to become a permanent guard if they still couldn't break through to become an Inner Disciple. If they wished they could stay as an Outer Disciple their entire life and continue cultivating, the choice was theirs in the end.

As for the Elders, I want them to be the role models of the sect. I wouldn't accept anyone as an elder unless they were at least Tier 6. In this way they would be strong enough to defend the disciples if something were to happen, they could also recruit direct disciples to teach them personally if they so wished.

Going into more detail; I would want Elders to be from Tier 6 to 9. Grand Elders from the 10th Tier to the 19th. As for the 20th Tier and above, I dare not think about it now.

And, once an Outer Disciple reached the 5th Tier they could immediately be ranked up into an Inner Disciple. Once you reach the inner disciple you will be allowed, after 20 years, to retire as an Elder of the sect. Or you can continue to cultivate and attempt to become a Core Disciple.

The Core disciple would need to be at least of the 8th Tier. Once they reach the 10th Tier they would be able to retire as a Grandelder if they so wish. However, I hope they could continue cultivating so I have added a 50-year wait, as a rule, to retire as a Grandelder.

As of now, unless I upgrade Phorbes's talent I won't have anyone close to becoming an Elder. I hope I can attract enough talents this time to groom at least a single Grandelder.

When I got back from my tirade last night I went ahead and let the bin in the Treasure Pavilion gobble up all of the Martial Skills. After I did that I came back here and have been worrying ever since.

I really need to pick up a Mage Cultivation Manual…

System, as it stands now, how much would the price be if I asked you for a Mage Cultivation Manual?

[Host, this generous system will only charge you 20 MPS Points for a single Tier-0 lottery draw, for a Mage Cultivation Manual!]

From yesterday to today I have only gotten three more MPS Points. To a grand total of… 5!

I don't have that kind of money right now, I'll just have to wait and accrue more after the Examination today.

From what I've seen Phorbes is still stuck at High-Class Tier 0, I hope he can break through and become Tier 1 within the week. It seems that at the very last push between every Tier it is much more of a challenge. I have read in some books it is called challenging heaven's will.

When someone attempts to break beyond their limits as a human using mana, the heaven's will attempt to stop them by making it even harder to gain more power once you arrive at the last step.

Although I don't believe this, it may just be a placebo effect. I haven't had any problems yet, but that might just be because of the Cultivation Manual Series I have bought.

Standing up and walking out towards the entrance I started to calculate in my head…

I have 36 disciples right now. I currently get a minimum of 7 MPS Points per month. If I were to get say, 200 disciples, I could safely get at least 38 MPS Points per month at the minimum. If they did 5 jobs every month then I could even get 200 MPS Points per month!

Considering my disciple's job rate right now they have all completed around 6 jobs, some even completing multiple in a day. Although I'm sure it will slow down after the examination because of the flyer job post.

I should be looking at an average of more than 300-400 MPS Points per month! Haha! I'm going to buy you out system!

[If you would like to purchase all that the system has to offer… Please wait 167 years for calculation.]

Damn system your pretty bad at math too, huh? Just cancel that calculation and don't spend all of your brain-power on it.

[Affirmative Host! Please purchase more things in the future!]

Yea, I'll think about it system. Anyways, I should be able to safely buy the Talent Upgraders this month. As long as everything goes accordingly I should be more than equipped to deal with those fatties…

I haven't even announced that we are going to fight them yet hehe.

I don't want it to be too soon and have them quickly lose interest in it, I hope they get riled up at the thought of beating up some fatties. Although it does seem a bit sad, as it could be seen as bullying the weak hehe.

If that Iron Journey sect has some good talented fatties I might even steal some…

As long as it has talent I would cultivate anything, maybe I need to raise my standards.

By the time my thoughts ended I was already outside the entrance, I snapped out of my daydreaming when I was met with thousands of eyes on me.

Oh, I almost forgot it was almost time for the… Wait a minute, isn't this… this is too many people right? These are just spectators, coming to watch their friends take the exam right?

Damn its still an hour away, you don't need to come so early! There's already a nearly uncountable number of you, do you want to bleed my sect dry with trying to feed all of you?

I stood, staring at them and they reciprocated in kind.

I hope Phorbes comes soon and starts to sort them out…

As I was about to go back inside I could see some more people coming in, they tried to squeeze through the crowd and I could see many of them adorning my decorations! Haha! It makes me happy to see all of these people adore my beautiful sect!

I went back inside the sect while feeling proud and putting much more of a kick in my step, I guess we still have a bit of time. I can put the bonus stats I have been saving into my menu.

Afterward, I'll go and tell Phorbes that it's about time to come start the examination, I hope he doesn't have stage fright.

I opened up the sad looking bronze-button that dreamed of becoming a gold button and scanned the window;

[Level 2.0]

[Strength 11]

[Dexterity 18]

[Vitality 14]

[Intelligence 20]

[Willpower 20]

[5 MPS‌ Points]

[3 SP]

[Features Locked]

Once again, I'll line up my dexterity with my mage stats, and then put the rest into Vitality…

{Phorbes View}

Searching the Treasure Pavilion I noticed there were even more Martial Skills to be learned. I wanted to know if there were some more but I didn't dare go further up the Treasure Pavilion.

I had once tried to pass the barrier that led to the Tier 1 Martial Skills section and I was pushed back and felt a bit of pain in my Mana-heart. As I tried to figure out what was going on a voice appeared in my head in an almost robotic tone that said;

[Tier 0 Outer Disciple Phorbes, please pay 300 Merit Points, and attain Tier 1 to gain permanent access to the second floor of the Treasure Exchange Pavilion]

While I was surprised at the voice I could see Sect Leader coming into the Treasure Pavilion in my peripheral vision!

"Greetings Sect‌ Leader!" I hurriedly saluted the graceful looking man before me, he didn't look a day older than me, but I knew that those immortals could stay young forever.

Thinking of how much power he must be hiding, he turned and said to me:

"Phorbes, are you ready to start the Entrance Examination this time? I think I even saw the one young red-haired boy you were friends with." He said this in a soft tone while looking towards the Outer Ring of the sect…

"Ha! This one will perform the Entrance Ceremony!"
