Mount and Blade System: Start from Pioneer Lords

In just a few minutes, the gnoll tribe had gathered all their able-bodied members, roughly sixty or so, and launched an attack on the High Mountain Fort team lying in the grass.

These gnolls all possessed a decent-looking metal weapon.

Among them, the twenty or so gnoll cavalry charging at the front, riding wasteland wolves, were even wearing tattered leather armor to increase their defense.

Li Wei even spotted a complete set of standard cavalry heavy armor on the tall gnoll leading the charge, a bit old but still rare equipment.

Judging from the emblem on the armor's chest, it must have belonged to some unlucky pioneer noble.

"Boss, above..." Zate, lying in the grass, scratched his butt and subconsciously sniffed his fingers.

Although this group of gnolls' equipment wasn't quite up to par with human mercenaries, it wasn't too far off.

But Zate still didn't take them seriously. Forget the boss, he alone could handle ten or so dog bastards.

"Demacia!"

To Zate's surprise, before he could finish speaking, Li Wei shouted and jumped out of the grass, launching a charge.

"Demacia!!!"

Seeing their boss charging, the orc barbarians roared and jumped out of the grass, charging towards the gnolls below the slope.

They didn't know what "Demacia" meant, but since it came from their boss's mouth, it probably meant charge, so they all imitated him.

Most of the orcs hiding in the grass rushed out before Zate belatedly reacted, grabbing his fine steel double-edged battle axe, which had flattened a large patch of grass, and tumbling out of the grass.

"Orcs never fear!"

Li Wei, halfway through his charge, conjured an iron javelin out of thin air, launching it with zero frames of startup.

Whoosh!

The iron javelin shot out like a ballista, instantly knocking the gnoll leader, who was charging at the front, off his wolf.

The gnoll leader fell to the ground in a daze, rolling several times before stopping.

The wasteland wolf under him was pierced through the chest by Li Wei's spear, firmly pinned to the grass, constantly wailing, but not killed instantly.

With Li Wei's accuracy, it would have been easy to kill the gnoll leader, who was only a hundred paces away.

But Li Wei had his eye on the cavalry heavy armor on this gnoll, and if he shot him directly, he would inevitably shoot a hole through the armor.

That's why he shot him off his wolf first, preparing to deal with him slowly.

The speed of the gnoll cavalry charging at the front was slowed down a bit by this sudden change.

But they didn't panic, instead splitting into two cavalry streams around the fallen gnoll leader, continuing to sweep towards the orc barbarians.

Swish swish swish!

The orc barbarians habitually used javelins to clear the way, but unfortunately, the gnolls weren't trash like goblins and kobolds.

Seeing the orcs preparing to use javelins, they howled and split their formation.

This made the barbarians' collective javelin throw have little effect, with only ten or so gnolls having their chests torn open by the javelins, the enormous force carrying them and pinning them to the ground.

Only three gnoll cavalry were knocked off their mounts.

After the volley of javelins, the gnoll cavalry clashed with the barbarians.

Moto and Zate charged at the front.

Moto, wielding a warhammer, roared, the veins on his tree-trunk-thick arms bulging like earthworms, the iron hammer smashing heavily on the jaw of a wasteland wolf.

Crack!

Accompanied by the sound of bones breaking, the abundant force lifted the front half of the wasteland wolf's body, weighing six or seven hundred pounds, into the air.

The gnoll riding on it was almost thrown to the ground, but it wasn't a cowardly creature like a goblin or kobold.

Instead, this gnoll was aroused to ferocity, taking the opportunity to swing the scimitar in his hand at Moto.

Whoosh!

Unfortunately, just as the scimitar was about to land on Moto, an extremely sharp javelin drilled out of the crowd, instantly sending his body flying like a tattered sack.

Moto turned his head and saw that the javelin was thrown by his boss, and moved, he roared and smashed a gnoll preparing to sneak attack into a paste with one hammer.

The warhammer in his hand weighed a full eighty pounds, and with his great strength, even a polar bear could have its head smashed to pieces by Moto with one hammer.

Compared to Moto, Zate's attack was even more bloody. He swung the double-edged giant axe in his hand in a semicircle from bottom to top.

The extremely sharp axe blade effortlessly split the gnoll cavalry in front of him in half.

The wasteland wolf was even more miserable, with only the buttocks of the two halves of its body still connected.

The internal organs spilled directly out of their bodies, extremely foul.

Even the fierce and murderous gnolls were shocked by this scene, and they all moved away from Zate, rushing towards other orcs.

No matter how high and surging the fighting spirit is, it will be drowned by blood and death. Under the slaughter of the orc barbarians without any resistance, the gnolls' reason once again occupied the high ground.

Unfortunately, it was too late. The orc barbarians rushed to give them the final blow.

At this point, the attacking gnolls were completely wiped out.

The green grass became blood red under the gnolls' painting with blood. It was filled with a bloody and foul smell.

Li Wei witnessed the whole process while chopping off the gnoll leader's head with a sword, and was not surprised by the outcome of the battle.

This group of gnolls may be considered quite strong in the wilderness.

But that's in comparison to goblins and kobolds.

In a one-on-one situation, with the number of gnolls not much different from the orc barbarians, their death was already doomed.

Not to mention there was a beast like Zate, who killed ten or so gnolls alone.

Li Wei took the opportunity to look at his attribute table and found that he had leveled up twice after several battles.

As a hero unit, Zate gains one attribute point and one skill point for each level up.

And when he levels up, he can get an extra skill point.

I don't know why.

Shaking his head, Li Wei directly added the two attribute points to strength and agility respectively, and the skill points were added to Iron Bones and Power Strike.

As for intelligence? Li Wei didn't even think about adding it to this guy, I guess even if he did, he would at most be a smarter idiot, wasting attribute points in vain.

He's just not cut out for it.
