"Don't move!" He yelled at the stranger. The stranger swallowed as he looked nervously at the man

He was the person sent by Ru Shi's uncle to protect her. He does not know what the boss would do if something happens to the young Miss.Ru Shi's face was very pale now. She was forced to raise her head slightly by the dagger. The stranger looked at the man

"What do you want? I can help you get it." He said calmly. "But if you hurt her, I swear I will find you anywhere in the world and I will make sure you suffer a fate worse than death."

Ru Shi raised her brows when she heard him. Why would this stranger want to help her?

"Trust me. It's not only me who will be looking for you too. I think you know how dangerous Mr. Li is too."

The man looked at the stranger and frowned.

"What's your relationship with her? Why do you want to save her?". The man thought about what to say to convince him. He knew the young Miss is also feeling suspicious too.

"Because I love her I have been monitoring her for quite some time." Ru Shi widened her eye.

The man's heart was slightly shaken. Knowing Li Mu Chang, even if this man would not even chase him, there is no way Mu Chang would let him go. He could just escape now. After all, his plans had failed.

There was no proof that he was the one who set the cafe on fire but if he killed her; there were now some witnesses. The man hesitated for a minute. 

"As long as you promise to leave me alone and don't report this to the police." The stranger nodded.

After the man finished, he pushed Ru Shi forward and ran. The stranger quickly hugged her.

"It's okay, don't be afraid. I will take you back". Ru shi asked, "Qin Jieli?". They looked around but could not find her anywhere. "She has left."

The man hugged her as he looked at her hands which were still bleeding."Miss, you're hurt. I will take you back". Ru Shi frowned as she looks at him."No, let me down. Who are you?"

Ru Shi asked suspiciously. "Don't worry Miss Ru, I mean no harm. I'm a friend of Li Mu Chang." The man lied.

Ru Shi raised her brows."Let me take you back. You need medical attention."

Looking at the determined look on the man's face, Ru Shi knew he would not let her go so she agreed.

"Thank you"

When they went back to the cafe, the fire has been extinguished. But they're still there were a lot of people around. When they moved closer Ru Shi saw Leng Yan, Wang Lu, and Liang Shao. Why were they here?

Ru Shi frowned and looked at the ruins that had been burnt. She saw a figure coming out. The suit on the man has been burnt, his hair was messy and his body was covered with black soot. Mu Chang rushed into the fire to look for Ru Shi, but he did not find her. The thought of her being burnt into ashes nearly drove him crazy. He had never been this afraid, the thought of losing her made him careless. At this time, Mu Chang felt a pair of eyes on him, subconsciously he raised his head.

Through the crowd, four eyes met. Time seemed to slow down at that moment.Ru Shi arched her brows. She did not expect to see Mu Chang in such a situation. Why did he come out of the cafe? His appearance was like someone who had been in a fire. Mu Chang's eyes were firmly on hers as he walked slowly towards her.

The crowd parted for him. His expression suddenly became cold. The man suddenly let Ru Shi down from his arms. Ru Shi was afraid Mu Chang was angry.

"Mu Chang, I .....". She had just opened her mouth and she was hugged by Mu Chang.

He squeezed her as if he wanted to feel her existence. He did not stop until Ru Shi felt a little pain.

"You're alive." Mu Chang said softly. Mu Chang thought she was in the cafe? Did he go in to find her?

Mu Chang held her tightly; his voice a little hoarse. "You scared me. I thought I had lost you."

Ru Shi opened her mouth but only sighed. "I'm sorry."

"You can't do this in the future." Ru Shi kept quiet as she listened to him speak. "I'm sorry, I let you worry. Don't worry I'm fine."

Mu Chang did not respond to her for a while."Mu Chang?"

She reached out and patted him on the back, but the other party did not respond. She felt a liquid in her palm. Ru Shi raised her hands to see her palms full of blood. Looking down at the place where Mu Chang walked from there was a long trail of blood on the ground. "Mu Chang! Don't scare me!" Ru Shi's heart panicked as tears instantly came out.

"Mu Chang?". Leng Yan, Li Yi and the rest immediately ran over to them. "Let's send him to the hospital!". Wang Lu said. When they tried to pull Mu Chang they saw that he was firmly holding Ru Shi's waist. 

They could not remove his hands. "I'm going with you," Ru Shi quickly said. She supported herself and held Mu Chang as they walked towards the ambulance. Even though she was in pain, she did not say anything.

Ru Shi woke up, only to find herself lying on the hospital bed. She tried to sit up. The nurse who was helping her adjust the flow of the drip held her shoulders to stop her from sitting up."Miss Ru, you can't get up now. You have to rest". Ru Shi looked around. "How can I be here?" Ru Shi asked the nurse.

"You fainted outside the operating room."
