"Xiao Ru!"

The moment Ru Shi got to the school gate; she met Shen Ruyi who hooked around her shoulder from behind her.

"Wow, you're glowing! I can see that Mr. Mystery man is treating you really well!" Shen Ruyi said excitedly.

"Well…" Ru Shi blushed, remembering last night.

"Oh, my! Did you just blush? Details, girl."

Ru Shi ignored her, as she walked.

"I will buy you your favorite cake!" Shen Ruyi shouted at her.

Ru Shi stopped when she heard her.

She really liked cakes! And Shen Ruyi knows that.

"Really?"

Shen Ruyi smirked, "of course!"

She knew Ru Shi can literally sell her soul just for a cake.

"Well..." Ru Shi started telling her everything that happened yesterday.

Shen Ruyi's eyes went wide.

"That Feng Lu!!! It seems I should've punched him when I got the chance! Don't you think he's mentally ill?" Shen Ruyi asked her friend.

"Well..."

"So...you're living with him now huh? Don't tell me you're ready to make babies! Oh, don't forget to name your daughter after me!"

Ru Shi blushed, thinking about having kids with Mu Chang.

She wondered what they'd look like.

"Never! I don't want my daughter to be as stupid as you!" Ru Shi said as she laughed and ran away from her friend.

"You..!" Shen Ruyi began, chasing after her just like when they were kids. People stared at them, shaking their head.

They know Ru Shi is always indifferent and reserved but once Shen Ruyi comes she shatters their perspective of her.

Little did Shen Ruyi know that Ru Shi would really name her daughter after her.

Ru Shi sat in class and felt bored. Since breaking up with Feng Lu she realized that she really hates this class.

She stared out of the window as she thought about what her life would've been like if she had married Feng Lu. Just as she was in pondering on that, a shadow fell over her.

"Ru Shi, you're the reason Grandpa Feng has sent Feng Yan to an unknown country with no form of communication!"

Ru Shi looked up and saw Xin Yang the best friend of Feng Yan.

So Feng Yan has been sent out of the country. No wonder she hadn't seen her!

"Miss Xin, don't tell me you're mentally retarded. Did I force her to lie or did I ask her sleep with Feng Lu? Why are you coming to play the victim here, when this doesn't even concern you? Please, you're blocking the sun, can you leave?"

Ru Shi looked at her indifferently as she turned to stare out of the window again.

"You...!

When Xin Yang saw that she was being ignored, she got angry. "Just because you now have a gold lord so you can talk back at me?"

The classmates started whispering when they heard her.

"Ru Shi stood up and slapped Xin Yang.

"Miss Xin, even though I'm poor, I don't mind selling the last thing on me so I can sue you for defamation. So be careful with your words. If there's nothing else excuse me." Ru Shi said as she packed her things.

"You… just…" Xin Yang fumed.

"And oh, by the way, I don't want to hear any rumors or else!" Ru Shi glared at the people whispering. They felt inexplicably chilly and they stopped talking.

After that, she did not wait for Xin Yang to talk again and walked out of the classroom.

Just then, she heard the honk of a car hooter and looked up and stared at the car.

She hesitated for a while, the window of the car slowly opened as Mu Chang's face came out.

"How was your class?" he asked.

Ru Shi looked at the time.

It is four o'clock in the afternoon. Isn't Mu Chang supposed to be working?

"You got off work early?"

When Mu Chang had conducted the meeting and left work early, everyone was stunned!

But he said drearily, "I've already finished all my work."

Ru Shi looked at him suspiciously but did not say anything; after all, she was happy to see him.

After a while, Mu Chang did not feel her gaze any more. When he glanced at her, he saw her looking out of the window.

What is she busy looking at? He wondered.

Mu Chang's brow wrinkled as he glanced at the unchanging streets outside.

"There's a charity event in two days," he said.

Ru Shi turned to look at him.

Mu Chang continued, "I want you to go with me."

Does this mean he wants her to be part of his world? She conjectured.

"Okay!"

However, as Ru Shi thought for a moment, Feng Lu's words replayed in her mind. What if he comes there? After all the Feng's are known for being involved in charity programs.

"Don't worry. I will be there with you. The management is very strict with this party, so don't worry!"

Ru Shi nodded very seriously.

"I know..."

When they reached home, Mu Chang went upstairs, but Ru Shi went to the kitchen. Today she wanted to cook for him!

After all, she believed that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

"Zhu Wang," Ru Shi said with difficulty.

"I have come to ask for your help."

"What, Miss Ru?" The cook asked her.

"I...would to cook for Mu Chang but I don't know what he likes," Ru Shi said embarrassedly.

When the cook heard her, she smiled softly and replied, "you can prepare fish porridge for him, since boss really likes fish!"

The cook took her to look at a huge tank full of fish.

Ru Shi was surprised.

How rich was he to get such a huge tank full of fish!

"The ingredients are also in the fridge. If you need my help I will be here," The cook told Ru Shi.

After more than half an hour, Mu Chang came downstairs and went into his study.

Ru Shi looked at the food on the table and sighed.

She sat at the door of his study, afraid that she'd disturb him. After all, he came home early because of her.

She didn't know how long it took until she heard a voice from above her head.

Hearing the sound, Ru Shi sweetly looked up at Mu Chang.

"Don't you want to eat?"

"I'm not hungry," he said.

He stretched his hand to her and said, "get up."

Ru Shi just stood up but because her legs were sore, she almost fell down but luckily she was caught by Mu Chang.

"How long have you been sitting here?"

He sighed, bent down and picked her up and started walking.

As he passed the dining room the cook said, "Boss, the food is ready."

"I don't want to eat."

"But Miss Ru prepared it for you especially!"

Mu Chang looked at the little blushing woman in his arms.

He smirked as he said, "well, serve me then!"

He wanted to eat the food that his Kitten especially prepared for him.

Ru Shi stood by as she watched Mu Chang eat with anticipation.

"It's good," Mu Chang said.

"But I know how to make it taste better."

"Aha?"

Before Ru Shi realized what he meant.

He pulled her onto his l.a.p, kissed her while feeding her.

"There, that's better!"

Ru Shi blushed as she glared at him.
