"There are times when we have to be selfish to fight for what we think is right. However, there are times when we have to work together if it's for good". Said Julian wisely.

After that Julian stopped then looked back at the sun which had been swallowed up by the sea until it started to blanket dark.

"People say I am naughty and have no future and always be in the lowest ranks making me known as the dumbest student in school. At that time I began to wonder whether I was like this from God?". Qiara said with a sad look.

Even though she felt sad, she tried to paint a smile on her lips when she said what she lacked.

"There are no stupid people in this world, only lazy people. If you want to study diligently, of course you will become a smart person. I can guess, when you were in high school, you played more than you studied?" Julian replied with a smile.

Julian tried to give Qiara an understanding so that she would no longer feel inferior.

"You are right". Qiara replied while staring blankly at the ocean.

Just then, all the lights by the beach began to turn on and twinkling to decorate the place that was like the halls on that high.

"I don't want to judge you let alone make you feel sad, I just want you to realize that you are actually smart if you want to study hard".

Julian continued to try to provide understanding and explanations that Qiara could understand quickly and well, he said with great tenderness.

"Again, you are right even though Mama said that truth absolutely belongs to God. Even so, I will still be grateful to you because you have advised me well. Usually I don't accept advice from anyone, therefore you should be grateful because I want to hear you, hehehe...". said Qiara, looking at Julian meaningfully.

Julian smiled at what Qiara told him.

Even though Qiara's every answer didn't quite match what he expected, at least Qiara was already willing to accept it.

Unfortunately, their conversation had to stop when they saw several couples arriving to enjoy the weekend together.

"Who are they?". Qiara whispered as she glanced at the several couples passing in front of them.

"They are a husband and wife like us, they come here to enjoy Saturday night with their partners". Julian answered, watching the couple.

"Hmm... How do you know if they are husband and wife?". Qiara asked again in surprise. Because what she knows is that everyone who comes to public places is not necessarily a married couple.

"Because those who are allowed to enter this place are only married couples, they must show proof of being married before they can enjoy the view here. Because, not far from here, there is a very comfortable and beautiful inn for a married couple to live in. There are also couples newlyweds who chose this place for their honeymoon". Julian explained, pointing at the inn which they could still see from where they stood.

"Are you kidding? How can they make rules like this? Isn't everyone entitled to enjoy the view? Am I right?". Qiara said with a strange grin.

"You're right, because you never want to be blamed". Said Julian while looking at Qiara with a mischievous smile.

Qiara swallowed hard when she saw Julian's gaze that made her heart beat fast.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I'm right, not because I don't want to be blamed. Now, we better go home because I'm tired, I want to take a shower and eat!". Qiara said while diverting the conversation because her feelings were getting worse, especially when the beach wind got stronger and made her shiver to want to hug Julian.

"If we go home, it might be midnight, because the trip from here to the house is around 4 hours. Of course you are very tired and you have to rest immediately. Therefore, I have prepared a room for us here". Julian explained as he looked at the still red sea water.

Not long after that the sun really sank.

They both witnessed this beauty when Qiara's eyes returned to the ocean with a serene atmosphere with a man who always reminded her that he was her husband.

"Are we really not going home tonight?". Qiara asked after a long silence staring at the ocean.

Hearing Qiara's question, Julian turned to look at her with a gentle gaze.

"Yes. Do you want to feel the touch of sea water at night before we go to the inn?". Said Julian while stretching out his right hand.

Qiara stared at Julian's hand with a complicated expression upon hearing Julian's offer.

Not long after, she thought that there was nothing wrong with enjoying the beach atmosphere at night.

"You don't need to be awkward! Let's be friends until we can make a decision for our relationship, how?". Julian said while smiling at Qiara.

Julian thought that by being friends, Qiara was no longer hostile to him, nor did he mind entering the world of Qiara.

"Friends? Does he want to make peace with me? But friends are also good. Alright! I'll accept him to be my friend, If he messes with me, Then I'll beat him". Inner Qiara smiled cheerfully.

"Alright! Then. Come on friends, we play!". Qiara replied while grabbing Julian's helping hand with enthusiasm, Julian smiled and nodded.

After that they went down together towards the shoreline.

"Hey ... Perverted man ... Why are you just silent? Let's play with sea water! Hahaha ...". Qiara shouted, throwing sea water at Julian.

"Aren't you cold? Why are you playing with water?". Julian asked while avoiding because he felt strange if he played with Qiara.

"The sea water is warm, just try it!". Qiara replied again.

Julian shook his head; he crossed his arms to his chest while watching Qiara who looked happy playing with water.

"Do you like the sea?". Qiara asked, standing parallel to Julian after she was satisfied playing with water.

Just at that moment, the sea rushed to send froth to the edge of touching their parallel feet. Instantly Julian and Qiara's hearts felt at peace.

"Not too". Julian replied while stepping backwards avoiding the touch of sea water.

After that he hugged Qiara from behind, because Qiara looked very cold.
