Kevin's gaze began to soften, he remembered exactly what Maxwell said at that time. But, he was already in love with Gavin so he didn't have the heart to hurt the poor boy.

"What do you think now? Do you still want to block me?". Maxwell asked.

Kevin took a deep breath, then he walked over to Maxwell.

"I know that he is your guarantee. But, he is already my son in the eyes of the law. I always wanted to protect him from anything that would hurt him. If Nathan knew about Gavin, then he would definitely take him from me. I really don't want to lose Gavin. So, I beg you not to do this!". Kevin said sincerely. 

Maxwell smiled, it was the first time he'd seen Kevin like this. Wanting something trash he gave up his pride to beg someone else.

"I'll make sure that Gavin remains yours because my only purpose in using Gavin is to torture Nathan. That way, Nathan will surely terrorize Joseph. Besides, Nathan doesn't have the right to take Gavin because on his birth certificate I wrote your name and the name of his birth mother. But, if you don't believe me then I'll find another way". Maxwell said.

Kevin looked up at Maxwell with a gentle gaze.

"Are you seriously going to find another way?". Kevin asked anxiously.

"I'm too smart. If I just rely on one way, I'll definitely find another way. Oh yeah, you better tell Agatha about Gavin to make her happier. Because that poor girl has suffered enough". Maxwell replied while hugging Kevin. 

"Thank you for considering it, and I'll tell Agatha later when the time is right." Kevin patted Maxwell on the shoulder lightly as an expression of his gratitude.

Kevin knows very well that Maxwell has a good heart, Maxwell is indeed a ruthless Mafia, but only to his enemies. As long as he is not disturbed then he will not interfere. 

"Oh my gosh..". Kevin pushed Maxwell, shuddering in horror when he realized that his embrace with Maxwell was too intimate.

"What else?". Maxwell asked with a surprised expression.

"You hug me too passionately, I still like women. Remember that!". said Kevin.

"Hahahaha ..". Maxwell laughed quite loudly, he found Kevin very funny when he said that.

"Instead of you laughing here so as to disturb the residents of my house, you better go home!". Kevin turned his head in annoyance.

"Okay, I'm going home now! Greetings Gavin!". After saying that, Maxwell left Kevin's study with a smile. 

Kevin breathed a sigh of relief because Maxwell was still willing to listen to his request.

At the same time, Reina was getting ready to leave Jeju Island for fear of what happened yesterday again.

"Miss, are you ready?". Gabriel asked after she entered Reina's room.

"I want to meet Demian first before leaving, who knows if he wants to come home with me. So, let's postpone our return until the afternoon. You can postpone our flight schedule!". Reina replied. 

"Okay, boss!". After that, Gabriel immediately walked out of Reina's room slowly because her body that was hit by the gunshot wound still hurt so much.

"Gabriel, wait!"

Gabriel turned around and furrowed her brows. "What's the matter, boss?"

"I forgot that I don't know where he lives yet. So, can you find out where Demian lives". Reina replied with a smile.

"Okay, boss". After that, Gabriel tried to find out where Demian was.

And with her abilities, she easily found out where Demian lived.

Reina was happy and satisfied with Gabriel's work.

Not long after that, Reina went to Demian's residence with a happy feeling. 

Even though Demian had said that he would contact her later. But, Reina couldn't wait to meet Demian.

It didn't take long, Reina arrived in front of the hotel room where Demian was staying.

"Why is the door to Demian's room open?" Reina asked herself in confusion. 

After that Reina went inside slowly because she didn't want Demian to be angry to see her enter his room without permission.

"Demian... Are you inside?". Reina asked quietly as she continued to walk.

Right when she arrived in front of the bathroom, Reina was shocked when she heard the sound of the door being about to be opened wide. 

"Looks like it's Demian..." Reina said with a smile.

Before Reina continued her steps, suddenly her mouth was covered from behind by a sturdy hand that was strong enough.

After that, Reina's body was brought into the bathroom.

Reina tried to break free, but the hand holding her was strong enough.

After closing the bathroom door, suddenly there was the sound of light footsteps in the room. Instantly Reina was silent then glanced at the person who smothered her. 

Demian? So, he smothered me? In that case, I won't go berserk. He wants to do anything so I won't mind." Reina thought with a smile in her heart.

Actually, Demian was suspicious when he realized two people were following him so he deliberately didn't close the door. He hid behind a cupboard, but he was surprised to see Reina who appeared suddenly in his room so he immediately pulled Reina.

Meanwhile, Reina guessed that the people who wanted to attack Demian were Virsen's men. 

"What are you looking at?". Demian noticed Reina's mischievous gaze.

"You're handsome and sexy, I'm fine if we stay in this position". Reina replied with a smile.

"Shut up". Demian put his index finger on Reina's lips.

At that instant, Reina gulped deeply because she felt stimulated by Demian's index finger.

Suddenly there was the sound of things breaking, Demian immediately gave a signal to Reina. "Stay inside, don't come out until I call you!".

Reina immediately nodded in agreement, after that Demian came out.

After that, Demian quickly dealt a blow to the two intruders who entered.

It wasn't long before the two of them bounced all the way to the door.

Since they couldn't possibly win, they immediately fled from Demian's room.

"Who are they? They seem to be one of Virsen's men. I have to be careful!". Inner Demian.

After that, Demian called out to Reina. However, there is no sound. Damian went into the bathroom.

Demian was shocked when he found Reina, he immediately lifted Reina's body onto his shoulder. 

Not long after that, Demian laid Reina down on his soft bed.

Demian sat beside the bed and looked at Reina's face intently. 

"Did she fall or slip? Never mind, I'll just wait for her to wake up then I'll ask". Inner Demian.

Subconsciously, Demian stroked Reina's face with a smile. 

In an old building, Mr. Joseph chooses to hide from Maxwell and Julian. He didn't want to face the two of them before he had the power. 

"What's going on out there?". Mr. Joseph asked his men who had just returned to scouting.

"Mr. Maxwell seems to be ready to arrest you again, I saw some of his men at his base seem to be preparing their weapons. Meanwhile, Mr. Julian, sent someone to find you. But, his son is in the hospital and he went to the hospital with his wife". Answer the spy.

Mr. Joseph smiled, now he knew who would stop Julian and Maxwell from pursuing him.

Not long after that, Mr. Joseph pulled out his gun and pointed it at the spy.

The shot hit the head of the spy who had just given him the information.

Meanwhile, his other subordinates immediately prostrated themselves and apologized for their mistakes which they did not know.

"Boss... We will protect you with our lives! Therefore please forgive us. Now give your orders!".

"Are you sure you will protect me with your life?" asked Mr. Joseph with a sly smile.

"Sure Boss".

"Hahaha... I believe in you guys". Mr. Joseph laughed quite loudly because he was very happy to hear that his men were willing to risk their lives.

"Okay then! Right now you have to catch Julian's wife, make sure she's still alive when you bring her in front of me!". Said Mr. Joseph.

Mr. Joseph immediately gave orders to his men without mercy, his target now was Qiara, because according to him, Qiara could make the two men sign an agreement with him. After that, he could ask for freedom from both of them.

"Okay boss!". After that, Mr. Joseph's men came out of the old building and immediately set out to arrest Qiara.
