"Look, my boss really wants to meet you. He said he wants to establish a very profitable cooperation for you. Are you interested?". Raphael said.

Demian smirked at Rafael then said. "I think our business is done, you know the exit right?".

There was resentment in Rafael's heart because he failed to persuade Demian. But, before he left, he put his business card on the table. "If you change your mind, call me immediately!"

Demian was silent, he didn't say anything other than staring at Rafael who was about to leave with a blank stare.

Moments later, Demian stood under the moon whose light reached the balcony of his room.

His mind wandered deep into the past, because Rafael reminded him of the city A he had left long ago.

There was a longing roaring in his heart, he remembered how Qiara and Reina smiled at the same time.

"Time flies so fast, I avoided Reina and Qiara here, but instead I became a target for others. I know that Maxwell likes Qiara. But, why does he want to meet me?". Inner Demian.

After thinking, Demian immediately packed his clothes because he felt he had to leave Jeju immediately. However, he wanted to take Reina away because Virsen had endangered her.

In Nathan and Clara's luxury home, Clara's parents can be seen sitting in the living room.

"Said you have had nausea since yesterday, are you pregnant?". Clara's mother asked with a smile.

Clara saw the faces of her parents who looked happy. She had opened her mouth, but her words were stuck in her throat, and couldn't come out at all.

Because Clara was silent without many words, her parents also noticed something odd. At that moment they stopped their smiles, then said seriously. "Clara, what's the matter? What has happened to your household?".

Clara didn't dare to look her father in the eye, she knew how much her parents hoped to have grandchildren soon. 

Clara lowered her gaze, after staring at her own pale fingers. After that, she spat out words from her throat with a stutter. "Nathan wants to divorce me!".

Clara's parents were silent. 

A moment later, Clara's mother managed to find her voice again, then asked with a hard to believe feeling. "You mean Nathan wants you two to separate after living together for a few months? Aren't you pregnant?".

Clara's father's forehead wrinkled, but he remained calm, at least he is a person who has experienced dealing with big problems, he just sighed for a moment, then said. "Is Nathan cheating?".

"I'm not pregnant and Nathan never cheats. It's just that he never loved me". Clara replied while shedding tears that she had been trying to hold back as much as possible.

"She can't just divorce you just because she doesn't love you. I'm going to talk to him so you don't get divorced, let's call him to come home early!". Clara's mother said angrily.

"I can't!". Clara refused without thinking because she knew that Nathan would hate her even more if she was caught complaining to her parents. . 

"Why?". Both parents Clara became increasingly confused, because Clara is their favorite child so they are very anxious about the fate of her daughter's wedding. 

"This is my household, therefore I will take care of it. I will make sure that Nathan will never divorce me! So, Mom and Dad, just shut up!" Clara answered pleadingly.

Clara really understood Nathan's character, a man who was always arrogant and looked down on her just because he didn't love her. But, every night he asked her to make love. Isn't that outrageous?

Nathan's decision cannot be changed by anyone. However, Clara still wants to fight to maintain her household because she loves Nathan very much.

"Then we leave everything to you. Don't let the media smell your divorce plans. Because your divorce will make JJ's shares and your father's company shares decline. Remember that!". Clara's mother said firmly.

"You also have to remember that you are the daughter-in-law of a very famous Minister. And the sister-in-law of the most successful businessman in this city. So you have to protect your good name if you don't want to regret it". Her mother also did not forget to warn her firmly because divorce is a disgrace to them.

"Yes mother, I will protect our family's good name". Clara said.

"Then, we will leave now!" After that, Clara's parents left feeling disappointed. 

After her parents left, Clara went on a rampage until the maids at her house were frightened. 

All items and flower vases were thrown until they broke.

"Nathan... How dare you treat me like this, I will never let you do what you want". Clara thought as she tightly clenched the broken flower vase causing her hand to hurt. 

Not long after that, Nathan came home. He was shocked to see his house was a mess. 

He walked slowly towards Clara who was sitting on the floor with her head down.

"What are you doing?". Nathan asked as he crouched down in front of Clara.

Hearing Nathan's voice, Clara immediately looked up. She stared intently at Nathan with tears in her eyes. 

"You're finally home". Clara smiled through the tears that kept running down her cheeks. 

Nathan took a deep breath, he looked at Clara's injured hand. 

"Get up! Let's go to our room!". Nathan said as he helped Clara up. 

Clara smiled because she thought that Nathan cared about her, so she followed Nathan's orders obediently.

"Waiter... Clean this place before I go out!". Nathan shouted before he led Clara into the room.

The servant immediately ran to Nathan.

"Yes sir!".

After that Nathan left the servant in the living room. 

Nathan's room.

"Sit down!"

Clara sat obediently on the sofa not far from her bed. 

Meanwhile Nathan went to get the medicine box.

"What's wrong with Nathan? Tonight he is very cold and caring. Has he realized that I am the only perfect wife for him?". Clara thought with a smile.

Not long after that, Nathan returned. He sat down beside Clara after placing the medicine box on the table. 

Nathan cleaned the blood on Clara's hand carefully because he was afraid that the shards of the flower vase would get stuck in her hands. 

Clara couldn't stop smiling when she saw Nathan bandaging her wound.

A few minutes later. 

Nathan finally finished treating Clara's hand, he then looked at Clara while stroking her face. Immediately Clara felt nervous.

"Don't hurt yourself again as long as you are my wife, if we are divorced, you want to kill yourself too please". Nathan whispered in Clara's ear. 

Immediately Clara was surprised to hear Nathan's callous whisper. She thought Nathan had changed, but she still wanted a divorce from her. 

"Nathan... Why are you so mean to me?". Clara asked in a trembling voice.

Nathan closed the medicine box after tidying up the contents, he ignored Clara's question and left. 

"Nathan...". Shouted Clara who had lost her temper.

Nathan stopped in front of the entrance, he then turned to look at Clara. 

"What is it?".

"I just want you to know that I will not let you divorce me! I will use all means to maintain our marriage, remember that!". Clara answered in a high tone of voice.

Nathan smiled at Clara's words which he thought was a joke.

"Clara... You don't know me, I'm not the Nathan that everyone has known all along. But, I'm a person who can do even more cruel things than the devil. So, you should enjoy your life well until the day of our divorce. Don't worry, not anytime soon because you are still useful to me!". After saying that Nathan grabbed the doorknob and walked out of the room that made him feel cramped.

Clara fell on the sofa crying, she didn't think that she was married to such a bad man. 

"Why can I fall in love with a man like him? I should have just let him marry Natalie at that time. But, it's too late, all I have to think about now is how to win". Inner Clara.
