When it was time, Lu Meili left the house. She had already sent the adress to Katy Blanc. 

"First miss." The new chauffeur bowed and greeted her respectfully when he saw her. 

Lu Meili smiled. She was in quite a good mood. "You don't have to be so polite with me. Can I trouble you to drive me to Emerald Grand Hotel?" 

The chauffeur was thunderstruck. Why was the eldest miss being so polite? "First miss, it's no trouble." 

Lu Aotian was watching her get into the car from the balcony. He took his phone and called Small Xing, the bodyguard who had taught Wan Jia to fight many years ago. About twenty minutes later, Lu Meili arrived in Emerald Grand Hotel. She was earlier than both Neil and Ruoxi. 

She went to the restaurant on the tenth floor and booked a private room. When she was done, she carefully placed the necklace given to her by Lu Xian Yu among the flowers on the flower pot atop the table. She didn't find a perfect excuse to give it to Ruoxi earlier. If she simply gave it to her, Ruoxi would suspect it if something happened. In fact, she might pretty well figure out that something is amiss as soon as she set her eyes on Neil. It would be too much of a coïncidence. 

Her phone rang. It was already 5.30 pm. As expected, Neil was quite on time. 

She recieved it with a sweet facade.

"I'm already at Emerald Grand Hotel. They won't let me in." His tone was rather impatient. How could Lu Meili simply send her to such a place as Emerald Grand Hotel considering his status? Was she trying to humiliate him? 

"Hello Neil, I got caught up doing something else. I might be a little late. Just use my name to get in. I told them about you already." 

Of course, she would never humiliate anyone using her status. Not even if that person betrayed their friendship and teamed up with the enemy. She knew better than anyone that even if Emerald Grand Hotel wasn't owned by Lu Enterprises, her status would still see her in without any issues. However, that couldn't be said about Neil. She had already informed the manager beforehand. 

Although she was in the building, she had to leave. She couldn't let them meet her.

"I'm telling you, let me in right now. The eldest miss of the Lu family is my friend and the first heiress of the Blanc family is my girlfriend. You will not be let off." 

The security guards exchanged looks and laughed to themselves. 

It was alright to claim that Ruoxi Blanc was his girlfriend. That one had many friends, so it was half believable. But to have the audacity to claim friendship with the eldest miss of the Lu family? Who would believe such a lie? How many people had seen Miss Lu to begin with? 

After having to wait for a while amid all the humiliation, the manager finally came out. "You must be Mr. Neil. Miss Lu asked me to pick you up." 

"I am." He said between gritted teeth. Lu Meili would pay for this.

"It's really you!" A girl in the same elevator exclaimed. Lu Meili was shocked. "Who are you?" 

The girl looked awkward. "I must have scared you, I apologize. I'm a journalist. You are Little Angel Meili, right? I wouldn't get it wrong." 

Lu Meili smiled. It was hard to disguise herself. But due to her unique voice, people would recognize her, especially fans and journalists. 

The little journalist felt her heart melt from Lu Meili's smile. How could a girl be so beautiful?

Lu Meili checked to ensure that Neil had got into the hotel and Ruoxi was yet to arrive before she left Emerald Grand Hotel. 

"Sis Katy, are you done? Meet me at East End Bar." 

Katy Blanc was shocked witless when she heard this venue. "Bar?" She had already said to meet in Emerald Grand Hotel. Why did it change to a bar now? Most importantly, "I'm already on my way to Emerald Grand Hotel. You do know that they are on opposite sides of the city, right?" 

Lu Meili chuckled. "Why not a bar? We have a good show to watch. Besides, when was the last time we just drunk and relaxed? It's been practically ages. If I told you that we were meeting at a bar too early, someone might have found out."

Katy could no longer refute this little girl's logic.
