Chapter 128 - 128: Small World

Halora was awakened by the calm, mesmerizing ambience of the place. The trees that danced with the rhythm of the wind, the sound of the waves and thr calm water of the deep, blue sea.

Along the way, because of tiredness she tried to hide, she fell into a deep sleep while the young man who helped her drive slowly as he was afraid that she might be disturbed by his carelessness.

"W– where are we?" she asked, opened her eyes slowly and lifted up her eyeglasses.

"At the beach, but if you want to stay, I can open the trunk of thr car and have some drink." he replied as he has been waiting for her to wake up for an hour.

And along the way, he brought some drinks as he felt thirsty and hungry suddenly.

"I... I am not in the right position to argue with you."

"It's totally fine for me! If you don't like to stay here, I can drive you to other places where you feel safe!"

Halora shook her head, stared at him as she unfastened the seat belt and took a deep sigh. "I like this place and there's no other reason to leave."

Right then, the young man felt something inside of his chest. He knew it was an abrupt feeling but he had never felt such strong emotion towards any girls he dated before.

For a couple of minutes, he was left speechless while Halora stood outside, embraced herself and waited for him. She has no car at all and she has no idea how to open the trunk by herself.

"Woah! It's too cold outside!"

Halora brushed off her arms as the cold win blew up her hair and touched to her skin. She looked at his way that urged him to get off from the car and walked fast to the trunk as he opened it for her.

He said, "I'm sorry, I... I was just fascinated by your natural beauty."

Halora giggled bitterly, looked around the entire scenery and she had found out that it was an exclusive property yet, she ignored it and remained silent.

She wanted to ask his name but her tongue was twisted up that was difficult for her to utter a single word. She did nothing but watched him closely as he prepared everything.

And after a couple of minutes, he called her and invited Halora to sit down next to him as they both looked at the beautiful, breathtaking view.

"T– thank you for helping me! I... I was so afraid to go home yet."

"Did you have an LQ with your boyfriend?" he asked.

Halora narrowed her eyes as she didn't know what was the meaning of LQ. She gasped, waved her hand on the air and she replied, "L– LQ? What that means?"

"LQ– Love quarrel!"

Halora looked intently into his eyes. It surprised her to death that brought back the pain of being rejected. "No! Of course, not! I mean, I d– do not have a boyfriend and I don't think this is the right time for love." she said in a hollow, broken voice.

A couple of hours passed by, still, there was no Halora went back home. Roy just called everyone that might saw Halora somewhere, unfortunately, he gathered nothing even a single witness.

"I'm sorry to say this, but no one saw her around or nearby the place." He told Sebastian who has been walking back and forth in front of Halora's house.

They almost searched the nearby places and in the end, they didn't find Halora. And that was made him worried amto death.

"Fuck! Fuck! I was so fcking idiot!"

"Come on, dude! Don't blame yourself for what happened! What I'm trying to say is that, instead of waiting here, why don't we try to go to the beach or somewhere that she could feel at peace and safe!"

Roy said the right thing they should have done earlier. It was quarter to 12 in the evening and they had no much time left.

It bothered him to death and he was determined to find Halora as much as possible. But if they don't take an immediate action, it would be completely impossible to locate her whereabouts.

"You're right! But, let me drive this time! I can't wait here knowing that she might in danger!"

Roy hesitantly gave him the key of the car. He knew it was urgent but he couldn't either risk their lives because of the rage that devoured his sanity.

He sighed, slightly shook his head and he said, "I don't think you're in the good condition to drive my car, dude! Let me drive instead and calm yourself down."

Because of what he said, Sebastian realized that he had lost control. His face was all red as if he was prepared for something that was chaotic.

He gasped, furrowed his brow but in the end, he gave up and walked back to the car.

But before they could finally leave the place, Roy noticed a black car parked from a distance. He narrowed his eyes, tried to recognize the boy and the girl who just went out from the car.

He said, "Can you see that black car from here? I think I've seen that somewhere, but I can't exactly remember the place!"

Suddenly, Sebastian turned his head and looked at two people who seemed talking outside of the car. He gulped and felt something on his chest.

"Where are you going?" Roy asked him when he walked closer to them.

He cursed, stomped his feet to the ground a he followed Sebastian as fast as he could.

"Sebastian! Please, stop!"

But he continued until Sebastian recognized their faces. He then closed his fists, gritted his teeth that flaunted his strong, perfect jawline.

"Halora?" he called her name that caught everyone's attention, that brought fear to Halora.

"W– why are you h– here?" she asked him as she stuttered and frightened of by his deep, cold stare.

But instead of answering her question, he quickly stooped and grabbed her arm closer to him that surprised the young man who accompanied Halora.

He looked at Sebastian's cold eyes, smiled mischievously as he said, "Small world, Sebastian."

"You can leave now, Markus! On the right time, I will pay you back for driving her home, safe and sound." Sebastian replied that confused Roy and Halora who remained speechless at the moment.
